Personally I would have loved to have seen:

a road going Ford Escort RS Cosworth
Ford Fiesta XR2i/RS1800/RS Turbo
Ford RS200
Peugeot 306 S16/GTi-6
Peugeot 206 SR (Not yet released, 180bhp :D )
Vauxhall Astra Coupe Turbo
BMW M3 (either the E36 or the E46 variants would have done, just give me M Power!)
Austin/MG Metro 6R4 (same engine as Jag XJ220, just minus the turbos) in rally guise, or the Metro Turbo for a road car.
Austin/Rover ERA Mini Turbo
Rover 200Vi
Rover 620Ti
Vauxhall Astra Mk3 GSi (not the 1800 Ecotec variant though, that was rather s**t really)
Vauxhall Astra Mk4 RSi or somethign like that. Anyway, comes with 17s, lowered sports suspension, and Lotus-Tuned handling from the factory. Shame it's continental Europe only, could quite fancy one in reality

I'll add more later I think

Ok, I'm back with more :D

Vauxhall New Corsa 1.8 SRi
Audi UR Quattro
BMW M1
Ford Sierra RS500 (the start of the cosworth revolution)
Mazda Xedos 9 Supercharged
VW Golf Rallye
VW Golf G60
VW Corrado G60
Lotus Carlton
Vauxhall Cavalier Turbo 4×4

McLaren F1 would be cool, but I'd imagine it would cost a fortune for Sony to get the McLaren Licence, and for just 1 car as well.
Would have been nice to see some classic Ferraris, would set up a nice challenge against the Ford GT40

I have this history of my car almost being in the GT series, but the model not quite being right.

GT2 - the Vectra - great! Except I drove a 2.0 litre sedan. The V6 hatch was nearly right.

So, we update to a Subaru Liberty (Legacy for our non-ANZAC readers) RX.

The B4 in the game is almost perfect. The blue's right, correct slotted 5 spoke 16 inch wheels. Except - the one in the game is the one before our facelifted model, and where's the rear wing on the B4?!?

Damn - so close!!!

I know what you mean. A friend of mine has a Astra 2.0 and I used to have an Almera (Nissan Pulsar to those outside Europe) and we both bought the aforementioned models, modded them, and raced against each other in two player mode. The fact these were the same cars parked on our driveways gave it an edge, i.e :argue: Shame GT3 didn't carry on with the base model cars :(

I loved that kick ass RS200

used it for all the rallys, 80s races in GT2 damn thing rocked need the Lancia Delta Special Edition (GT2) aswell a rally car with a Ferrari Engine rules

Just came across my Encyclopedia of Dream Cars book and thought this would be an excellent place to get some ideas.
Alfa Romeo SZ/RZ (207bhp)
BMW Z1 (170bhp)
Bugatti EB110 (553-611bhp)
De Tomaso Pantera (247-350bhp)
Ferrari 512 TR (Rebadged Testarossa) (441bhp)
Ferrari F40 ( bhp)
Ferrari 550 ( bhp)
Marcos Mantis (352bhp)
MGF EXF (unknown, but can do 217mph)
MGF Extreme (480bhp)
Peugeot 205 T-16 Rally Car (450bhp)
Peugeot 405 T-16 Paris Dakar Rally Car (450bhp)
Porsche 959 (450bhp)
Renault Alpine GTA (250bhp)
Renault Spider (150bhp)
Ford IndiGo Concept (441bhp)

Well, I thought you guys were going to win seeing as you were one nill up on agrogate. I even thought Wales had a chance.
:p

1992 R32 GTR.
Funny enough in both GT2 and GT3 you can't find it in either, yet the other years are available.

First year of the face lift, front and rear mechanical diffs, double syncro ringed gearbox (simular to the R33 GTR) and upgraded ecu and ATTESSA system.

This car!

Lol, the challenge of that car was so annoying

Well I would love to see the Jetta in GT3

And also the Mitsubishi Eclipse, how could they have taken out one of the main cars of Mitsubishi on GT3!!!

OK, I haven't got too far in GT3 yet, so if these cars are in the game, it's because I haven't seen them or won them yet!

Vauxhall Calibra road car(waaaay sexier than having a Vectra or Astra)

Smart car, cos it would be funny in a Midget II kind of way.

Subaru SVX, they have 3 million versions of Impreza and Mitsubishi Evo, and no SVX

New shape Mini Cooper, I think this is in GT4 though :)

Just a quick list because i'm tired and it's late.

- R32 Nissan Skyline GTE
- R32 Nissan Skyline GTS
- R32 Nissan Skyline GTS-4 '91
- R32 Nissan Skyline GTS-4 '90, 4door, no rear spoiler (Dad's car)
- R32 Nissan Skyline GTS-t (4door)
- R32 Nissan Skyline GT-R (all models - from '89 to '94)
- More R33 Skylines
- More R34 Skylines
- Ferrari F50
- Ferrari F40
- '91 Mazda MS6 (Mum's car)
- Lamborghini Countach
- HKS R33 GT-R Drag Car

etc...

I'm not sure if anything has changed but the reason we don't get: Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Most BMW's, Porsche and a few others is because EASports bought all the rights for the NFS games. So unless that changes I doubt you'll see these cars in the GT series.
