is it just me, or does anyone else remember super ted, bananaman or roger ramjet? those cartoons kicked butt

Indeed they did kick but. Just like gi-joe (i must have made a million of those action figures at one point), Heman and many of the other cartoons already named.

One thing i've noticed about cartoons nowdays is that nothing happens in a half hour episode. Older cartoons may have been a little repetitive but at least you didn't have to watch the last 58 episodes to know what is going on.

Also, just about every new cartoon i've seen lately involves some sort of battle with cards/animals/even spinning tops for god's sake!

Granted cartoon producers want to make more cash from merchandise but do they all have to be about people fighting it out in tournaments just like the real-life game that the kids can buy?

People who write off cartoons simply as "kid stuff" don't know ****.

I'm sure there are others I'm forgetting but I've seen:

Hella lotta Hanna-Barbera
Hella lotta Disney
Hella lotta Anime
Looney Toons
Tom & Jerry
Pink Panther
The REAL Ghost Busters
G.I. Joe
He-Man (and She-Ra too)
Transformers
Voltron
Speed Racer
ThunderSub, a.k.a. "Blue Noah"
TMNT
Inspector Gadget
Duckula
Danger Mouse
Pigeon Street
Ren and Stimpy
Beavis and Buthead

Honorable mention goes to puppeteer works the Terrahawks and Captain Scarlet & the Mysterons

I don´t know the original cartoon names in english, but is pretty much those you all have posted.

Strange thing only a few people mentioned Dungeons & Dragons, that is one of my favorites cartoons ever. I´m still waiting for that last episode though:(

I'm watching my Tex Avery video tape right now with my 3 year-old. Thank god for POP (picture opposite picture).

Ha! TIIIMMMMMM-ber. Classic. 👍
