What cartoons did you grow up on?

I remember Roger Ramjet. He was pretty old stuff, though. Also, Marine Boy was from about that vintage.

I've seen Bananaman, but he dates from the late '70s and I didn't watch that much.

Dangermouse, on the other hand, rules the earth, and though he can claim a huge influence on my college years, I can't truthfully say I grew up on him, either.

thundercats, knight rider, transformers, a-team, airwolf, pole position, jason and the wheeled warriors, knightmare, tom and jerry, dangermouse, count duckula... can't remember any more, ok so a few of those aren't cartoons but then they were much more violent than the trash kids get to watch now, so i thought id mention them. ummm thats not to say it was a bad thing to have all that violence :P

scooby-doo, spiderman, he-man, g.i. joe, thundercats, bugs bunny, the smurfs, fraggle rock, uhhhhhh, speed racer, dastardly and muttly, johnny quest, and even though it's not a cartoon, Alf!!

:D I love "The Banana Splits"! Me and my friend Veronique would annoy some of our class mates in school by singing the theme song. :p

H.R. Puffenstuff? Is that the rich dog from the Bugs Bunny?
It wasn't actually a cartoon. It was about a boy named Jimmy. He had some sort of magic flute.
Anyway, Jimmy went up on stage after a magic show to see what was really in the magician's hat and fell in. He landed in a town of "hat" people. The town of Liddsville.
Each week the witch (played by Charles Nelson Rielly, I believe) was trying to get Jimmy's Talking Flute.

I owe most of my early TV-watching time to Tex Avery, good man.
Other cartoons I watched:
- Mask (probably why I became such a carnut is from watching Mask  )
- Transformers
I'm surprised that no one mentioned:
- Silverhawks (unless I got the name wrong in my head and it's called something else) I used to get utterly transfixed by those. I'd always stick around for the astronomy trivia at the end. :D :p

im 14 yr old and still watch cartoons like a 4yr old

i watch
-bugs bunny
-speed racer
-scooby doo
-tom & jerry
-any loony tunes

From what iv'e seen out of that show...it is REALLY messed up.

"But i just dont see why the that evil witch would want anything from jimmy...Well the only golden, talking, flute encrusted with diamonds."- Michael Ian Black "I love the 70's"

Stumbled on this image. Probably the best depection of what cartoons I grew up on....thought the picture was great:

and does anyone remember this cartoon-film thing that was all about dragons eating rocks for their fire and ended with the guy shouting things like "philosophy!" at the devil-dragon? :)

You'll need Winrar to put these files back together. I had to rename the files with ".zip" so they could be uploaded to this server. Simply rename the filenames without the ".zip" at the end. Example:

Uploaded filename:
80cartoons.part3.rar.zip

Rename it to:
80cartoons.part3.rar

Here's part 1 of 3:
