On the Plus account (yes, I ran it today), after collecting the GTWS watch cars (keeping them for tuning purposes), I did the Weekly Challenges in a more-or-less stomping fashion:
- Tsukuba Sunday Cup Classic in 3:26 with a stock Nissan R33 GT-R V-spec (1997 counts as a "classic" car in my locale)
- Spa Japanese Clubman Cup in 8:25 with the same R33
- Kyoto Porsche Cup in a stock Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport (hey, the rules didn't say "no race cars")
- Brands Hatch Specisl Event in 7:49 with a BAC Mono tuned to 676 PP (using an old @Jump_Ace tune for that car's Human Comedy mission, which grew by 20 PP over the course of the physics/PP changes)
- A somewhat-wet (rain until lap 4, spun in the last corner on lap 7 as my intermediates were worn out, stupidly took another set that lap as I was fooled by the radar before switching to the stock mediums) in 19:10 with a BMW McLaren F1 GTR that, other than the rain tires, was stock
The 6-star ticket for the Challenges was kind, giving 1,000,000 Cr., while the 4-star Wheel of Despair gave the 2nd-low-showing/lowest-possible 10,000 Cr.
On the GTP account, in addition to the 2 GTWS cars (the Genesis kept for tuning purposes, the Skoda sold for 612,430 Cr.), I picked up 1,000,000 Cr. for correctly guessing Gallo as the Nations Cup winner and 750,000 Cr. for bronzing the two expired time trials.
I eventually got into the 2:35s at Mount Panorama with a rented Clio (should be a solid silver time). The Laguna Seca time wasn't nearly as good, as 1:24.8 is at best mid-bronze.
The all-cash 4-star Wheel of Despair gave the middle-showing/lowest-possible 10,000 Cr.
