Bought the Ferrari FXX-K. It's nice; not as good as the Zonda R but better than the McLaren P1.

Bought the Subaru and Nissan GTR Gr3 cars in prep for the Daily C race. Ended up using the GTR some and despite setting my fasts quali lap with it, failed to win with it. Finished a P2, spun once, and got booted once while in the lead. Went back to good-ol-reliable Jag and won it twice. Never used the Subaru. Oh, also did one in the Viper and finished P5. That was a lot of fun racing but the Viper is not good on that race.

They really need to increase the payout for Dailies. Get a win, 18 mins of racing against other people, clean race bonus was like 70k.

Cool thing once on one of the Dailies, the guy who finished P2 was also running the Jag and had the *same livery. We were teammates finishing one/two.:D

*I did change mine slightly as I cannot have cigarettes on my car. Everyone knows this is the Marlboro livery (which is one I think looks really good on most cars) but I can't have the name on there. Alcohol I am fine with, but cigs I am not. OCD thing I guess.

Built a yellow bird from a used 930 Porsche. Used it round the ring for a few hours. Lapped the high speed ring in my hypercars shaving off tenths here and there. Lapped Laguna Seca in my GT3 cars. I have a different track for all types of car and having fun lapping and beating my times, trying different lines and gears.
Still loving it. Going to run TT on Le Mans with my group c cars now.
Considering if the Ferrari 330 is worth it for a trophy as I don’t care about completing trophies.

You know those days when you waste a bunch of time? I did the old tune up / tune down dance. That $500,000 Expressway race. I've noticed that one of my very favorite cars, the Amemiya RX7, dominates that race. I grabbed mine and threw on some racing hards, which made me now have to add max ballast and cripple the car with horsepower reduction. By the time it was allowed to enter with fuel economy set to 6 for laps 1 and 2, it was not even remotely competitive. Meanwhile the one driven by the AI continued to kick ass. I don't get it.

So I took my Honda race car and earned a bunch of money at Tsukuba.

Put @praiano63 tune on it. Makes it even better. I adapted his stock rx7 to start with but he has done one for the Amemiya now.

Tuned up and did some miles(for the daily) with the classic AE86. I am pretty disappointed with the available wide body. Purchased the Celica ST205 and then was thinking about tuning the S2000 only to realize I didnt buy one when it was available 😢 Looked at the P4 Ferrari again but didn't pull the trigger. Did a race with the tomahawk and topped off 100mil

Offtop: When I bought and installed the game, S2000 was on limited stock at UCD for something like 100k+ credits. At the beginning of career mode that was too much for me, so I decided to skip buying one of my favourite car from GT6. Its been about a month since that and I'm still waiting for S2000 to pop up once again at UCD...

Yesterday GT7 session was quite simple. I bought Huracan Gr.4, installed high-rev turbo and added set of rain tires to the garage. Painted with beautiful Gulf livery and then I went with my lambo straight to WTC700 30min Le Mans race. I did and won 4 races in a row:) Two hours, 3.2 mln cr income and hell of a fun!

Bought my first cars (apart from Day 1 Demio). First time playing for a week due to holidays. Spent most of my cash on the cheapest invitations, then hopped in to the Mach 1 and did some races.

Beat my garage in a custom race at High Speed Ring. I start at the back, my random draw put the 60s fiat 500 on pole. 😂. Was in the lead after the first corner and lapped the fiat 3 times in a 10 min race. Then back to work. 🥱

Tried 90% of the circuit experiences and did all gold on one, There is always one section where gold is either impossible or takes over a day to get. I was on Tsukuba on the second sector and again always a fraction off gold so I turned the TC to 1 and did it and it was 21.531 so went again to try and get the 21.100 Gold and flew around twice and got 21.986 and 21.957????? this game makes it up as it goes there is no chance those times were right. Many adjustments and a thousand attempts later I Rage quit and deleted the game all of it gone and now I feel it is the best thing I could have done.
I am not good enough to do it the game as I keep saying it is way to hard and if I am not having fun then it isn't a game it is a chore and I have enough of them to do.
Reset the PS5 back in the box and up for sale as I only had it to play GT7 on. Some mug I mean some nice person will buy it I am sure, I am hoping they don't want the GT7 with it and then I can torture the disc the box the cover lol.
Over and out. Take care keep smiling.
You deleted the game over one gold section? Oof lmao

Did my 30-minute grind on Sarthe with my trusty Focus RS, had an "interesting" race. The rain came early (just before the end of lap 2), which blew my usual strategy of a 7-lap/1-stop race out of the water (or into it as the case was) as I came in for full wet tires. Got to the end of the 6th lap with some time and no fuel remaining, and up just over that time on second, and (almost) screwed up by pitting instead of parking. Apparently my pit stall was before the start/finish line, so as 2nd and 3rd blasted by the pit entrance after time expired, I cut short the tires-and-splash pit stop and squeaked out a win by pulling out of my pit stall.

I then decided to have (another) go at the last Human Comedy race so I could get the last bronze (I really am as slow as B-spec Bob and haven't really explored the difficulty glitch, so I left the game on normal difficulty). I knew my R8 couldn't hack it, and the aliens are saying the RCZ would win, so I burned 450,000 Cr. to buy that. The first 2-stop attempt fell a few seconds short of 15th after one of the AI flat-out punted me between turns 1 and 2 me near the end, so I went to a 1-stop run and got 15th by a good 18 seconds.

Did not grind at all today. Only got my daily miles done and some more circuit experience with the wheel. Man i need practice ...

You deleted the game over one gold section? Oof lmao
Yes I have done everything I can do , and to be honest I wasn't enjoying it anymore, I had done everything as I said I was capable of so I moved on to things I was not capable of which was a mistake really, I don't normally rage quit anything but I got so fed up of doing times which were split seconds behind the gold time and as you know when you play it you know when you have done a good time and a bad one before the section time comes up, so doing say 23.198 then knowing you have nailed it maybe got a bend perfect and flew around and then the time says 24.987 it is making me think either I am having blonde moments and missing where I am doing something wrong or the clock is having a giggle with me. to try and get a gold on a game which is going take an eternity at the end of the day doesn't really matter in the great fabric of life so I thought delete and find something more constructive to do, Yes I was annoyed at it when I deleted it but if I was getting annoyed at a game then surely it is best to delete it. I am retired so I went back in my real garage and restarted renovating my classic car which I haven't touched since the weather turned horrible months ago.
I just got sick of sitting doing the same thing over and over and over wasting hours on a pointless game, as Einsten once said Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
PS5 is now sold one of my sons friends bought it and the bonus is he didn't care for GT7 he doesn't bother with driving games. So the game will sit in the garage until I end up using it to ram in a gap to stop something rattling or the game cases are ideal when hanging internal doors just put two on the floor and rest the door on them and when you screw the hinges in to the frame you have the perfect gap between door and floor. Free tip for you there.
Enjoy if your a player and good luck.

got my quick daily in, 3 star ticket, sure enough got 5k. typical. not sure what else im going to do on the game today. im only at 3.5 mil so probably grind a bit so I can upgrade a few cars I just bought.

Do the Circuit Experiences for credits you can do all bronze and get paid well, If your very very good at the game you can do all golds and get lots more credits but it is very difficult. I did all bronze and got paid then thought now if I go back and do all golds I will make loads more credits, Slight snag I found in each track one of the sections or the lap was near impossible to get gold, but if your very good at it and can do it, some places like the nurbergring is a huge payout £5m iirc.
Good luck.

Human Comedy Tsukuba MX5 Touring Cars, great race with decent pace from the two Japanese drivers at the front ruined by their strange pit decisions, too many compound changes as the track conditions moved through the gauge, I’d have caught them anyway but it would have been very close, instead I lapped them which was nice but I was enjoying the first half hour running sums in my head and seeing bad lines add tenths on the delta and good lines shave them back off.

I did the daily workout on the Tokyo grind, got a 4 star ticket which gave me a 'bore up' tune part for a car I don't want. Add it to the other 9 useless tuning parts for cars I don't want. The roulette stopped one short of an actual engine of course.

Anyway grinded out, reached the 100 mil limit and the stores aren't updating anymore. Did PD put the store refresh on hold while fixing the PP glitch, then put the 1929 car up for 100 mil?

Daily races still not interesting and buggy, no complete classic race car set yet to start my own multi-class last century endurance race series. And I've grown to despise the AI so much in the mean time I don't feel like completing the mission endurance series at all. So Horizon Forbidden West it is tonight.

I still miss 39 cars pre 2000. Are those all from UCD and LCD or does Brand Central sell anything pre 2000?

Today:
  • Bought two Celica GT-Fours and turned one into a weapon for the Tokyo WTC600. Even better with fuel than my R33 Skyline, being able to do eight laps on one tank in the race.
  • Bought a second E92 M3 and turned it into an M3 GT4 replica. Tested it in the Schwarzwald League race at Sainte-Croix and it was great. It will oversteer somewhat easily on exit, but is fine with throttle feathering.
  • Did a few daily races today, two at Monza and one at the Red Bull Ring. Improved my driver rating from E-B (my starting rank) to D-A. I was going to do the Scirocco race at Brands Hatch, but it booted me.

LCD/UCD won't update for another 47 minutes. Midnight UTC every night.
There wasn't anything new today. It refreshed now, I didn't have the Lamborghini Countach yet, and found a 1967 CHC Chevy Nova in the Bran Central list. 37 left to find pre 2000.

One moved to sold out in the LCD, tomorrow at this time then.

I have almost all of the circuits bronze for now. i plan on trying to go back and get gold when I can improve my skills a bit. Good info for new guys though

.
My Corvette C4 has seen better days, but under the hood, things still work okay.

Today I stripped out a lot of weight and upgraded various items.

Here’s a Trial on the Mountain…

I finally started on my Plus account, where my 1,200,000 Cr. in 25th Anniversary/"pre-order" bonuses (that I ordered from Sony a week after launch because they still had some pre-order copies around then) ended up, because the make-good bonuses (of 1,000,000 Cr. for the extended server shutdown and the auto-invites because invites were bugged) were about to expire. Instead of getting one of the suggested beaters, I got the Impreza Coupe because I didn't want to buy something I could win, and that was the cheapest car that fit the bill. Imagine my surprise to find that, like the suggested beaters and unlike the cars in the UCD rotation, there was a lot of wear and tear.

I plowed through the High Speed Ring Track Day menu book with said Impreza, taking clean firsts in every race, and getting the Integra out of the championship three-card monty. I also golded the National B license right away, and did the circuit experiences at Northern Isle (gold), Autodrome Lago Maggiore (all bronze), Broad Bean (all silver), Brands Hatch (bronze except for a silver sector 4) and High Speed Ring (all gold). All 4 of my (1-star) roulette tickets (including 2 workouts as the effort spanned across midnight) were for the low cash prize (though the first workout "1-star" was for 100,000 Cr., which was still the low-cash option).

Meanwhile, on the GTP account I've been using since I got GT7, I did my daily Sarthe 700 PP grind in completely dry conditions (unlike yesterday), winning by an easy 15 seconds, and used the proceeds to grab the Red Pig out of Hagerty's. My 4-star workout was for, you guessed it, the low cash prize (30,000 Cr.).

was playing the tokyo race like i usually do for an hour or two... still trying to get all the cars from the invitation and use the leftover money to buy used cars... i got the counterach and the 3 million aston martin... only car im missing is the enzo... but that wasnt the highlight of the night... during my third time playing this race the always second place guy who is gallo decides to switch lanes right when i try to overpass him as im lapping him... of course i hit him then hit the wall and get a penalty... i am pissed...so i was like ok you want to play it that way...i made sure everytime i lap the group i hit him as hard as i could... i didnt even care about lap times anymore because my laps are slower than usual every time i lap the group...i get to the finish line around lap 10 and brake right in front of gallo so he couldnt move...made sure all the cars went around me.... i already lapped the group 2 times so it didnt matter... he ended up 12th at the end of the race lol...on my last race on lap 11 i was lapping everyone again and on the last corner was gallo.... i made sure to speed up to that last corner instead of braking and ram him right in to the corner wall...when he crashed into the corner i parked my car right front of his... made sure all the ai cars passed us... he ended up 12th or 13th his name wasnt even on the screen when i won the race lmao
