I did a random time trial at the Nordschleife in the Audi R8 LMS '15, and for some weird reason it didn't show up in the ranking board.

I also counted that I have 175 cars on 0 miles in my garage.

I finally bought the Jag for the trophy. I wasn't planning on buying it because I wanted to have more credits. But I clicked on it before I could think about it

I finished the last weekly challenge (WTC 900 race) in third place, enough for the 500,000 cr bonus and a 64,000 cr payoff. Then I bought the Jaguar XJR-9 from Hagerty's for 3,000,000 and raised my collector level to 67.

I did two of the weekly challenges, the Jimny Cup (easy win), and the Special race at Red Bull Ring that I managed to win with my F3500 B (fitted with the Jordan-esque front wing) without pitstops and just being fast enough to hold off the late charging challengers. About 400,000 cr total earnings from the 2 races, the 100,000 cr bonus, and the 4-star roulette ticket. And I reached collector level 69 thanks to the Jaguar D-type that is rewarded for completing the Jaguar menu.

Done a few Sardegna races for credits and a few Nurburgring ones for the same reason too, while breaking in a new Thrustmaster Ferrari 488 GT3 wheel on the T-GTII base. Great improvement, imo. Not that the stock wheel is bad, but the 488 makes a lot of difference for me. All races done in the Audi DTM car. Great experience in VR.

Continued working on three liveries for the 296 GT3 that I‘ll probably release tomorrow. I also finished three of the new weekly challenges.

I detest, detest, DETEST, St. Croix!!! I hope there is a missile with its name on it!

Did I find an Easter Egg?

I've made 90's F1 races. They're really good...like WAAAAY better than I imagined. Here's 10 laps at Interlagos where I start on pole. It doesn't go the way you'd imagine racing against the AI would go. Watch how I race with Schumacher, and watch how Schumacher races me back!!! 🤔 🤔

Is there some kind of easter egg if you give your AI the names of former champions? Or is this just a really cool coincidence?

Created a livery "dedicated" to my sim race hardware brands. Used the 296 GT3 for it and done a number of credits farm races.

Gr.B race at Willow springs using neoclassic tire and fuel rate.

I had a busy Sunday. I finished the weekly events with the Ferrari Circuit Challenge and did other stuff there (track experience) to get the daily mileage. Of the 4-star ticket I got another Mach Forty (!) and from the 6-star reward ticket I got another Porsche 918 Spyder, and with that I reached collector level 70 which unlocked the last of the extra menus (Alfa Romeo Legends). I decided to sell my older 918 Spyder and purchase the Suzuki V6 Escudo Pikes Peak Special.

And I'm musing whether to sell the Jaguar D-Type (for about 3 million cr) and get the Ferrari F50 from Hagerty's.

Ran consistent 1:55's with the new Porsche, bone stock, at Maggiore. I got into the Human Comedy race and suddenly the car was on ice. I broke the steering shaft on my wheel trying to keep it on the road.
That race is a complete waste of time. I thought 1:55 lap times would win by a mile.
Wait...I opened the housing on the wheel. There's nothing broke...it turns out the steering shaft wasn't bolted down correctly! There's a sensor at the back that was loose enough to disconnect from the shaft and, critically, the centering mechanism had some bolts just hanging loose in there. I can't imagine if it had force feedback. Unfortunately it's beyond repair and out of warranty too.

Had a clear out of my high value cars (apart from my McLaren F1) to buy the 250 GTO, at last.

I don't race enough or keep credits long enough to save for it, so I find it easier to sell off the cheaper stuff and make enough to replace them as and when.

The last week and a half I have been doing random WTC800 races, mostly at Yas Marina, to get my daily mileage and both of my accounts. I have fallen in love with the DBR9 GT1, especially on the wheel. I might have also emulated the DBR9's cockpit for my sim cockpit as well. I have been getting used to my new sim wheel setup as well, going through the singleplayer events on my alternate account.

Did two races with the 992 GT3R at Yas Marina and Spa respectively and also started working on a new livery for the car.

I logged in to see if I got 2M for the Autopolis Time Trial, only to find there is still a day to go, and that my time had slipped to a silver.

So I did a banker lap and was only 0.9xx off my best (which was less than 0.1s off a gold), and my next lap I bagged a 2:04.8xx, enough to be within the gold time by 0.2s... hope it lasts!

I did the Sprinter Trueno race at Fuji (bleh) in the orange track of the Power Pack. Qualified 4th, dropped to 6th at the start, but finished 1st. The daily 3-star ticket got me a part, but I can't remember for what. I did sell the Jaguar D-Type for 3 million cr and quickly purchased the F40 (having missed on the more expensive F50).

Funny, I was racing my GT4/Gr.4 RWD only cars last night. Click on gtplanet and see the daily race are using FR only Gr.4 cars.

random 10 lap race at Dragon Trail gardens with the lancer evo '96

Did my daily and won a Nissan GTR Gr 4 off a 4 star ticket

Did my daily yesterday as well and won a Toyota SF-R Racing Concept from a 3 star ticket....

I'm sorry but the SF-R is one of the most worthless cars in the game. No engine swap. Does anyone actually use this car ?
