Got cars from viewers campaign inc Mazda 787 B.. I did weekly one time race in Caterham on brands hatch which was not very close unfortunately so I needed to have fun sliding it around.. than for 500 k I just took 962 C on Mt Panorama and it was very boring 20 min race Got Nitrous system from 3 star ticket... One of few boring stints on GT7

I grabbed the tickets for the stealth cars. I did part of the Weekly Challenge. I did the race with the Caterham. That is a fun little car to throw around. I was spinning out at first but once I figure it out I had a blast. Then I decided to take the Toyota GT-One to LeMans for a time trial. Normally I usually do either morning or afternoon but I decided to do evening. I love the stealth car. I noticed the backfire from the brakes and I tried to get a pic of it but it was really hard and I ended up with this pic instead.

I golded silvered the Nürb TT in the Hyundai Ioniq yesterday after 3 attempts. Silver felt like a gold - it wasn't the most pleasant lap - the car is pretty slow and not the best handling (esp. in my hands 😅), but I was glad to pick up the 1M Cr. for not a great deal of effort.

I also bought a few more cars, and now have just 14 left to go before having every car in the game.

I finished the weekly challenges with a win in Mount Panorama, so 200,000 + 500,000 cr earned. Since I reached 10,000,000 cr in my purse, I treated myself and bought the Ferrari Enzo and the Lamborghini Miura to complete two more menus.

Got a six-star marathon ticket after crushing the Tokyo race with an 834-horsepower Lamborghini Diablo. The iconic JLOC livery from the JGTC era just slaps. Probably added an additional ten or so horsepower alone.

As you can see, I lapped the entire field. My fastest lap was a 2:03.660. Undoubtedly the best this car has even been at 600PP. Sports hards, zero front downforce, max rear downforce, manual transmission, stock brakes and clutch, but every power and handling upgrade applied. Sure, it briefly wheelies over the crest after the tunnel (credit to no front downforce), but it is otherwise very stable with a decent setup. Livery credit goes to konezumiway.

I opened my ticket and got a million credits. Beautiful stuff. Well worth it today.

I revisited the current Gr.3 Time Trial at Suzuka in Sport Mode because I realised I'd done it the other day in the wrong ****ing car  I managed to find the proper car (the Hyundai Genesis Gr. 3) and made up 0.8s on my best. Still a full 1.0s off gold, so I think I'll settle for silver here.

Ran all five Hypercars around the Nurburgring again to see how they are with the new physics, and I'm surprised they're more controllable and I was faster in all of them, except I was slower with the Porsche 963.

I got 200,000 cr by completing a 3rd weekly event (WTC 600 at Suzuka). From the daily mileage ticket 4-star ticket I got a Ford GT (a repeat car). Then I sold the Porsche 969 because with this physics it's horrible.

I finally tried running in Sport for the first time in... 2 years??? Daily Race A was fine. Started 2nd and ended in first. Daily Race B was nerve wracking. I'm not that good at Bathurst but I did manage to climb up a few spots from where I started. I think I started 8th and ended in 6th. Then I did Daily Race C. Ugg, that one was really frustrating. I love Dragontail Seaside, but people were smashing and bashing their way around the track. I got punted so many times. And those curbs are out for blood. After about 5 races I finally got a race that clicked and went from 14th place to 2nd. I was 10 seconds ahead of 3rd and 1st was 20 seconds ahead of me. And I had the fastest lap of the race! 1:39.7XX? Crazy.

It was fun. I'll try to get back in to racing on sport mode more often. I'm still a bit timid around other drivers and try to give them space.

Attempted Hypercars at the GR.1 Prototype Series at Daytona to see if I could win with ANY of them this time. Results:

Ferrari 499P: 1st. No strategy, no special setup, just flat out. Got Miyazono coming out of NASCAR 3 & 4. Executing the exit out of the Bus stop, combined with the delivery of that Hybrid power in 4th gear AND the draft, makes passes feel almost overpowered.

Porsche 963: 2nd. Same thing and opponents yet somehow I can't catch Miyazono here despite having the same power.

BMW M Hybrid V8: Didn't even finish after the single pit stop but likely 8th or lower. At 641 HP, its not worth attempting.

Peugeot 9X8: 3rd. Despite the car seemingly reacting similarly with its Hybrid power delivery as Ferrari (And feeling abit faster, probably helped by the low rear wing), could not catch Miyazono and Wong.

Granted all these were first attempts but its bizarre how different the results were despite this being a race that maintains ALL the same AI drivers in the same positions as far as I can tell unlike alot of the events (Most notably the newer ones).

Will attempt with the Toyota GR010 as I haven't tried it post the Hypercar update (Where its Hybrid seems to have been adjusted as well).

Yesterday?

-Did some laps and got a silver-worthy time for the now-expired online time trial featuring the Honda VGT @ Laguna Seca.

-Bought my first Mercedes-Benz 300 SL (W194), with over 22m credits left to spare. As far as cars worth 20m go, all that's left for me to acquire is the Shelby Daytona Coupe.

-Did the European Clubman Cup 600 race at Deep Forest as part of the weekly challenges, using a Caterham 7 Superlight R500 that was entirely stock aside from a ballast, power limiter, some parts from GT Auto, and Sport Soft tires. I would've loved to have saved the replay but I got some sorta error before I was able - yet somehow my clean results still counted by the time I rebooted the game. Definitely looking forward to using this thing at the newly-added WTC 600 event at Suzuka, which is also part of this week's challenges.

-Bought a second silver Nissan Fairlady Z 432, if only because I think the S30 looks oh-so lovely in silver.

As for today, I'll likely tackle that aforementioned WTC 600 event since the weekly challenges refresh tomorrow morning - at least as far as my time zone goes - and perhaps do some laps for the online time trial featuring Gr.3 @ Suzuka. Seems like racing at Suzuka is the theme, here! Though I do wanna try qualifying for this week's Race A, too, and I might even buy a second Peugeot RCZ Gr.3 Road Car just to see what sort of customization options there are for it.

After much deliberation, I finally bought my first wheel (Logitech G29) yesterday & today was the first day I played with it. Deliberation mainly because of the limited space. I play on a wall mounted 43" TV which is why I've set the wheel at a little distance.

I'll be walking down the long path again of familiarizing myself with braking, acceleration & turning which I've been doing with a controller till now. Just want to nail the torque & sensitivity settings for this wheel + understand what should be the maximum threshold for my brake & accelerator pedals in calibration settings.

I took part in some TT for the current daily race c at Seaside. I somehow was able to record a PB of 1:41:491 which is close to 3 & 1/2 seconds slower than my PB set with controller. I know I've got a few weeks of agony to get upto speed but it should be worth it.

Bought old Merc and old Chevy from LCD for 27 mil so I'm broke again.. Crossed over 400,000 collector points or whatever the name is 😆 Honestly kinda waiting for spec 4 to come, lately I just like to do weekly races

I grudgingly did the reverse Nordschleife CE because I'm a completionist and spent the entire time wishing I had done it before the physics update that made the ketbs so brutal.

Not a difficult gold time to attain per se, but one tiny error and it's "goodbye, retry!".

Got home at lunch to do the 1220 daily race A and just missed timed it and just by a few seconds missed the deadline 😁

Did a 500k sophy challenge instead, muscle cars at laguna

Yesterday, I just did the newly-added WTC 600 event at Suzuka, using a near-stock Caterham Seven R500 - albeit on Sport Softs and some slight changes to the power limiter and ballast, plus some parts from GT Auto.

Still was a fun challenge, and I look forward to using my trusty Ford Mustang Gr.4 for the WTC 700 round at Spa-Francorchamps if I haven’t cleared it already. And if I have, then I’ll likely do some qualifying for Daily Race A.
