I came in 2nd in the WTC 700 with the detuned Living Legend. Then I started on menu book 36 and did Fisherman's Ranch came in 2nd. I must say I hate that track with a passion reserved only for Boston sport teams. Who thought the one thing that we need to make this track better.. Jumps. I hope this track is never featured in another race. I am not going to try the circuit expereince for this track I hate it so much. Anyway I also bought 2 or 3 more Capucinos I plan on doing a custom kei car series with the AI. Also I got the Swift Sport

Did a whole bunch today.

Circuit Experiences;
  • Trial Mountain; All sectors and the full lap gold achieved.
  • Daytona International Speedway; All sectors and the full lap gold achieved.
  • Blue Moon Bay Speedway (Both lay-outs) ; All sectors and the full lap gold achieved.
  • Interlagos; All sectors and the full lap gold achieved.
  • Willow Springs (All three lay-outs) All sectors and the full lap gold achieved.
  • WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca All sectors and the full lap gold achieved.
Every circuit is done in the Americas. ✔️
  • Fuji International Speedway; All sectors and the full lap gold achieved.
  • Autopolis International Racing Course; All sectors and the full lap gold achieved.
  • Kyoto Driving Park (Both lay-outs) ; All sectors and the full lap gold achieved.
  • Tsukuba; All sectors and the full lap gold achieved.
  • Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit; All sectors and the full lap gold achieved.
  • Lake Maggiore; All sectors and the full lap gold achieved.

Cars bought today;
  • Corvette Stingray Racer Concept '59.
  • Jaguar D-type '54.

  • I'd plan to do the Circuit Experience again in the future when i have my setup sorted out with the racing wheel. But with the current one i got too many problems physically so I ordered the Wheel Stand Pro V2 in combination with my steering wheel. Once everything is installed i will go back to driving without the controller. It should arrive tomorrow. Can't wait!

  • Got myself a nice back to back 1 star ticket which gave me 2000 credits. I'm not even surprised anymore. :boggled:

Did the final cafe event, the World GT Series, and I have to say, it's the most frustrating thing I've done in the game by far. Now I just want to know what everyone else did, because I haven't seen many people complaining about it. I've had very few issues in the game, but this one was making me pull my hair out.

I used the RCZ, and as I usually do, left it on RH tires to "even the playing field", even though on average they start +30sec ahead.

I can not overstate how frustrating this series made me. The stupid rubber banding that saw the lead cars (usually Supra and WRX) running away on straights as soon as I got near them, the stupid as **** AI holding their lines no matter where you are, frequently spinning me out, punting me off track, running me wide, forming track wide clumps of cars that are unable to be passed, slowing to a stop on the Lemans chicanes... and all manner of stupid shenanigans that made me have to restart races on multiple occasions. And then you have the strange physics where, even in the pretty well sorted RCZ, would cause the car to want to spin in some low speed corners, and curbs that would sometimes be invisible and other times hook the car like a rope.

Now, I won each race, some with several restarts, and don't know if others relied on the points to be in their favor with some lower places in races where I didn't. I also used RH tires when I probably should have stepped up to a medium or soft to give me an edge, but this to me isn't even racing. It's time attack with a bunch of assholes hell bent on ruining your pace and mood.

Anyone else struggle with this series?

Did another run at the Spa 1hr with the Nissan GTR. Ended up third because the weather hates me. 3 star ticket for 5k. Then golded one of the CEs for Tokyo.

Bought the Lexus and Nissan Gr2 cars because.... actually, I don't know why I bought them as I can't do anything with them. Guess I could detune and run some Gr3 races.

I hate to say it guys, but I am getting bored. Not interested in this week's Daily races. Have a few more CEs to go, but that's only because they're on tracks I don't like so I am not really chomping at the bit to do them. Hopefully next week's Dailys are more in line with that I am looking for.

Did 4 half hour practice sessions for the Manufacturer Cup race today. Spent 45 mins on my tune and another 45 on the livery. Did a practice race designed to mimic the Manufacturers cup race and won. Qualified 14th and finished 3rd in the first race so I accepted my 72 points for McLaren and walked away. 5 people got the "no pit" penalty so I benefited 3 places from that.

Then I realized I didnt do the CE for Brands Hatch so I finished that for an EZ 720,000+ and got the trophy for 15 CEs.

Got 30K from 4-star.

Great day!

I think I did that last one with a down tuned TS050, otherwise it would have been with the Lexus. I won it on points, didn't bother finishing every race in 1st. That was several patches ago, dunno how it plays out now. The AI is always annoying, not worth actually racing. Just go to find the places they aren't going to be in.

Just now I did the Spa 1H race with the R92CP, 70 ECU, 70 Power restrictor, 90 kg ballast moved forward a bit. On RH tires, one stop for intermediates halfway and stay on the wet as much as possible. Portilla was 2 laps down at the end, the rest all 3 laps down. The AI still tried to dive bomb me but it didn't take that long to get ahead of them. Got to be careful through Radillon since they stop for directions there. Blue flag dude was pointless again, but I had to drive on the wet parts anyway to stop my IM from burning up. Riding the kerbs to conserve tires lol.

Well I finally reached enough credits to buy the XJ13 and the Mark lV once they reappear in Legends again. These are the last two cars I need for the 'three legendary cars' trophy. Once I unlock that I'll have the game's platinum wrapped up.

You've experienced a game in full once you've knock out it's trophy list in my opinion. This will be my 7th Platinum Trophy.🏆

Screwed up in Daily Race A.
Rented the Radical, Qualify 3rd, stick close to the two in front who are fighting.
One gets punted off, I get into 2nd, the guy in 1st has a 3s penalty and I am behind by <1s, so I know not to do anything stupid as I can get 1st after he serves his penalty.
I get 1st, I lead 1 lap, on lap 4(final) I go wide after turn 5 hit the sand and get passed.
Finish in 2nd, DR stays D, SR climbs to A from B.

If I was a little more careful I would've had an easy win.

I struggeled a bit too with that 30sec lead in the first race. Gave up and restarted a couple of times until I came up with a fast enough car. Built up a 2017 GT-R (see in my garage) so fast it made these races like childs play. Re-raced this event to earn money before the endurances appeared, in the race-tuned GT-R ;)

After battling Blofeld and flirting with Rose some more at Tokyo - see previous post - I quit at 9-ish million and maintained cars. I took a supper break, another meal and a half day for me, then went shopping at Haggerty's, buying
  • Jaguar D-type '54
  • Corvette Stingray Racer Concept '59
I tried the McLaren 650S Gr3 at Lago Maggiore to see how well the "glue" supposedly stuck them to the road. Not much glue on my racing hards, so some people are telling whoppers. It's tuned up tight, a modified Praiano tune, so it drives like a dream, but it's just another Gr3 experience as far as I can tell. It might have a scouche more grip, but I spun out once and had to restart, and nearly oversteered off the track at the last curves before the sweeper leading into the starting straight. I also made 9th place at race finish, from 10th. I knew I could improve, maybe a lot, and tried again. This time I was a little more careful, but darn, the bots in this race are hard even on normal difficulty. Still, after a pitched battle with a Viper and AMG, I managed to squeak up to 5th place at the finish line. Not too bad, all things considered. If you want to read the blow by blow, I'll post another story bit in the Physics thread.

A few race b & c's.....Finished 1st or 2nd in all of them. Genuinely don't know why people pit in race c, but thanks to everyone in my races that did. It's not the optimum strategy, i hate fuel saving personally but it nowhere near as boring in this race c compared to doing it at brands hatch a few weeks ago. I gained 4/5 positions in ever race c from people pitting.

Well after that depressive 2nd place on Daily Race A where I screwed up under pressure, I decided to do the 24h spa.
Those bollards are worse than sausage kerbs.

I've done this Championship many times and every time I use a suped up car for all the reasons you just said. I don't even feel bad about if. If you're going to start me 40 second back and give me five laps to pass the whole field, not sure what they expect. Hell, even in a max hp Gr3 car with RS tires it's difficult, especially if you're trying to keep it clean... which is 100% on you as the AI won't.

I was watching a live stream of a YT guy (Rory Alexander) do this Championship and even he wasn't able to beat it (stock Lexus Gr3 car) so I don't know what chance I have. I might go back at it now that I don't need the $ just for the challenge... Im sure it'll end in frustration and not winning any of them (maybe N24). Qualifying or standing starts would make all the difference, but that ain't happening because reasons.

- Ticked off Le Mans and Nurburgring off in Circuit Experience, giving me 100% completion. :)

- Continuing where I left off with the Asia manufactures, I bought all the remaining Hondas that I haven’t yet owned from Brand Central. I now have 241 unique cars.

Rory struggled with it? That actually makes me feel a lot better about it. And gathering from what I've seen here, many people swung for the fences and used a car that murdered the field.

I should get one of my monsters out of the garage, do the series again and punish those AI dorks just to soothe my soul, haha.

Pretty pathetic to have a grudge against a computer and it's fake cars, but hey, I'm not perfect!

After a two week ( I was on Holiday in the USA watching a NASCAR race from the infield at Talladega ) break , ive come back too GT7 , hmm ok a few things have changed .

bought a few cars ( missed the 787B ) but things seem similar and now have 188 Cars .

Got the Superbird , still need the 962 , so hav'nt missed that one thank god .

Did a roughly 2.4 Hour race at Spa (set it to 56 laps) with Gr. 3 cars. The DBR9, F1 and old GT are stupid OP if you don't have BoP on. I had to fight in my 800PP tuned Viper. All of that for a whopping... 100k. And to add lemon juice to the papercut (if you get that reference, good job ;)), only got 5k from a 1 star ticket...

They really need to beef up the rewards for longer Custom Races.
