Ticket Spam till I earned 600k and a few engine swaps.
Nothing overwhelming from the tickets as per usual, but did get back-to-back Hellcats.
Finished off the GR1 Concept menu book at Suzuka for the daily reward ticket, and got a lousy i3.

I'm already on pad with auto
The wheel is much easier for rally IMO, with hood cam. You can feel exactly what the car is doing, or what it's about to do.
Can't remember which one windmills is but ive got full golds on all the rally ones with a T300RS GT.
Set brake bias to the rear so you can swing into slides easier, and set torque distribution toward the front for traction. Then coming to a turn, brake and the back end will swing out, but then you have the torque at the front pulling the car where you want it go to with good acceleration. One of them took a good few tries to gold though. Cut corners too

On the GTP account, I golded Red Bull and Sardegna Windmills, then went to Watkins Glen for the newest WRS time trial. The 4-star Wheel of Despair gave me a high lift cam shaft (no, not S) for the DB11. I also picked up 1 of the 3 Carrera GTs I want for tuning purposes.

On the Plus account, it took some tries to get the tune just right, but after I bought the Honda S660, I golded the Autopolis Human Comedy rather easily. I started with Jump Ace's tune, but had to take some go-fast parts off (the racing brakes/pads and anti-lag system), and turn the ECU further down to 83 to get it under the PP limit while keeping the power up, and put wide wheels on as that is a PP-independent improvement. The race itself was rather tame - leave the fuel map alone, turn mostly 2:27 laps (had a few 2:26s, including the fast 2:26.3), pit on lap 9 (the rabbits pitted on lap 8, which left me 7 seconds behind after the cycle), pit again on lap 17 (by which I had taken the lead, and came out 4 seconds ahead of 2nd), and cruise as 2nd gave up (he ultimately was 54 seconds back and the only other car to do 24 laps). The 6-star marathon roulette gave 500,000 Cr. (technically the 2nd-smallest prize, but since the coins are supposed to not be winnable,...).

Did more GTS Enduro recreations: Gr 3 Autopolis and 911 Suzuka.

One Make races give you a lot more than expected, 120k!

This will be the last I'm gonna do for the week, moving Wednesday.

Sorry for going off topic mate, but I saw the ship in your profile pic and recognised it. Both my dad and grandad worked in the shipyard where it was built and they worked in it!
Cool, The Texaco Spain my dad worked in the Engine room, Electrical engineer, was the one he was on most and I always remembered that one due too a fire in the engine room and my dad being on the ship at the time, sadly some people lost there lives and my dad helped too retrieve the bodies but I only just found that out when it was my dad's 80th, most likely couldn't remember all the details at the time as I was young. Will mention that fact next time i visit me Dad. :) sorry for the off topic, dudes :)

Happy man here. Got my 10th win in sport in 68 tries. Saw the nurburgring ang gt3 was on for daily so gave it a go. As usual, first try from the back of the grid. Fm1, 1 stop race. Lots of overtaking and a nice p4. Front runners were doing a no stop strat. Decided to qualify, got 4th. Really wanted to make my 1 stop work so went all in. Number 2 and 3 took eachother out in the first lap. Got first by the start of the second. Pitted after 6 laps for fuel and tires. Got back in 4th. 2 and 3 pitted lap later and the it was a chase to the first guy on a nostop. Got him in the final chicane on the last lap. Excellent fun. Will be doing this race a lot!

Also started workin on that oldschool gt1 grid.

It turns out Race A is not as horrible of a wreck-fest as I expected this week. At least so far, one day in. . .

I also went ahead and golded the CE for Watkins Glen and Nurburgring short track in order to practice for races A and C this week.

What did I do today in GT7?
Well, as everyone is chucking big engines in little cars, I thought I'd try to De-tune the Mazda Lm55 VGT gr1 under 700PP for LeMans. As it happens, it's not that easy to do. Remove the turbo, full ballast to the front. Ecu & power restrictor to minimum, or is that maximum? 🤔. Downforce to max. Even had to drop many suspension parts to get below 700. Makes for a quite competitive race tho. A 3 star ticket of dispondency revealed an invitation to Citroen 😞Cosmic... Can things actually get much worse?. Went to Brazil for the daily race B using the Mustang GR3. Finished 7th. Only online race 5 for me. Still, I've not embarrassed myself, which is what I aim for.
Nowt new in Used Cars and got all the Hagerty stock, so started buying everything in Brand Central, starting in America. All Ford's bought, ( hence Mustang GR3). Might look into Chevy tomorrow.
Tata for now..

Trial Mountain CE all gold. Struggled the most with those first 2 corners. Every single time the AI was slightly ahead I don't know how it's possible but guess it must be. He goes flat out on that sweeping left before the tunnel but every time I tried that I ran into the grass. Either way I recouped a lot of time from my best previous attempt and secured that gold well within the limit. Handles well with no traction control but easy to overcook it and spin out if not careful.

Ran Daily Race A twice, both times with random non-meta cars.

First attempt with the 2017 Subaru WRX. Accelerated fast enough to leave the back-markers behind, but no-where near fast enough to keep up with the mini and BMW M3s at the front. Finished 5th with a 23 second gap to 1st.

Second attempt was with an engine swapped Miata... Sports hard tires. Engine from an RX7. No other mods. I didn't finish a lap. Back-end kicked out if you tried to accelerate almost everytime.

Ran the extra menu ticket cycle about 10 times for the 4 stars and ended up hitting 500k twice and 1 million once and a few other 10k, 30k and an invite.
Ran 30 minute LeMans twice, once with Tundra and once with Gr.3 WRX.
Ran Sardegna twice, once with LCD McLaren and once with Escudo Pikes Peak.
Ran Watkins Glen with the Gr.2 GT-R GT500.
Ran the Trial Mountain Championship twice, once with Mustang Gr.3 road car and once with Corvette Gr.3 road car.
Tuned a Hellcat swapped Challenger and tested and tweaked a swapped MR-2.

Thought about how it would be nice if the invites would be deactivated once you’ve acquired all of the invite only cars.

Well got my Gold Sport mode TT time down too a 1:37.725, will folks be waiting till the last day too slap an even better top time in as it only relates too how far you are off the fastest time and then yer back too a silver lol. Got some more engines woohoo lol, some Grmn car that I already have 2 of, like gts end up with dupe cars galore. get sad that everytime I look in the ucd it's the same ole stuff , same colours, sure GT1 had a better ucd than this crap lol. Be trying more TT tonight before the deadline is up, more time too be had just need too hook it all up :)
Your 1:37 should hold up as gold, Gratz. Someone may nip that top time but not by much… unless someone finds a glitch or cut not yet discovered. I am also at a low 1:37 and away from home until end of competition so it better. Lol.

Cool! My dad worked in that ship doing piping stuff, the Texaco Spain was one of the first ships he worked in after joining ASTANO (the shipyard) it also was the last ship my grandad worked in it after retiring, can't ask him as he died one year ago. Sorry for the off topic guys

I was planning on going for a bike ride after work, but the incoming update tomorrow has made me reconsider it.

I think I have time to hit the glitch by staying up late tonight, before leaving to work I left my console on rest mode at the menu of the third and final race of WTC700, of the cafe menu 36, which I should complete it in the first 10 minutes after I get home, then there will be Gr.B, Ferrari and the final WTC books...I should get these done in about two hours, depending on how well I can do those rally races(i really struggle with rallying in Gran Turismo...The physics are plain garbage).

After that, I gonna have to hit a few CEs to make atleast two millions, so I can purchase any multi million car for to push my collection level to 32 which is required for the rotary Cafe book.

Then it will be just a matter of clearing out the rotary book, I'm think about blitzing it by using the Mazda VGT gr.1 I got by claiming it on PSN.

And then, I will probably have about an hour left to spare for grinding the roulette glitch, I hope it will be enough to get all or at least most of the engines, I'll be making sure to buy the cars to swap them into just in case PD has the funny idea of removing them from our inventory tomorrow.

I finally finished the RX7 menu as the FC showed up in UCD. I know I could gotten it buy getting gold on the 2nd mission but I despise the missions. So I finally got in the engine swap and 4 star ticket fun. I got most fo the engines I think I am missing like 4 of the 17 and I kept spamming the 4 star ticket till I got 500K cr. I think I am going to try to get some more engines before it is patched out of the game tomorrow

So today, I did as promised yesterday and bought all Chevy motors I didn't have & some Dodge. Not gonna bother with the other Tomahawk models tho.
So I took my 787B swapped RX7 to Spa. Very tail happy to say the least. Horrible in the wet. Suspension tweaks required methinks. Dunno how I won tho. Disastrous pit decision when rain arrived the 2nd time put me back in 2nd, 19sec behind Portillo with 45 secs left in the race.... Unbelievably, He pitted 😱.. With 45 secs left..... I went over the start line with 40 seconds left. He was still in the pit when the timer ran down, meaning he finished 2nd... Could not believe my luck... The ticket of dispondency revealed High lift cams for an Aston Martin DB11S.... Funnily enough, the 4 star glitch ticket gave me this exact car... Weird.
Did daily race A... Watkins Glen short track in a Corvette GR3 road car De-tuned to under 500PP. Lots of Mini's.. Unsurprisingly. Finished 4th. My 2nd top 5 finish in 6 sport races. I'm feel I'm getting the mojo back for online racing after the debacle of my 1st one. Just need to push on & get my 1st podium.
All in all, I'm still quite enjoying GT7, despite all the naysayers. AC and ACC don't seem to have that special..... something for me...
Anyhoo... Many will disagree & that's all cool.... Opinions matter.... Its how forcefully one tries to put theirs across is when problems start. Share your opinion and move on people...
Later Gator

I finished my special livery (134 decals) of the car I photographed the most in my life - approximately 300 photos on past GTs - I'm already imagining the problem I'm going to have now with the thousands of Scapes locations... :scared:

I decided to buy this car just now, because I knew that if I bought it at the beginning of the game, I wouldn't do anything but take a picture of it...

There are hundreds of wonderful cars out there... But perfect wonderful cars my brain identifies only two: this one and the Aston Martin DB11. ;)

Breaking in my first wheel/rig combo, Thrustmaster T300 GT, last few days while giving up my final assist (brake area) and adjusting to manual tranny. It's a lot to bite off all at once, but having a blast failing. I retried Human Comedy Deep Forest using the Ford Focus Rally B and doing a zero stop on RH. I lead for maybe the last 15 laps of 37 before getting passed on the final lap by the McLaren. My lap times dropped 3 or 4 seconds a lap to 1:39, then low 1:40's as my tires gave up the last 6 or 7 laps. I was consisting getting 1:38 or below for most of the race once beyond the traffic, but there was nothing I could do to fend him off. Will try again with a tire change around lap 22 or so.

The weekend was a busy one so not too much gaming and I am away on business tonight for the rest of the week.

I managed to complete my week of immersion with Mazda by creating my spec Mazda race in Custom races, it was fun and I can see the advantage of custom races as it was very competitive. I also raced my 787 swapped RX7, LT1 Miata and RX7 engine swapped '89 Miata. Good fun.

Tonight will be packing, maybe a couple short races. I now get to think about next week's immersion topic. It's going to be Italian for sure, just have to decide between a prancing horse or a bull.

That's great ,Sorry for the loss of your Grandad, will be happy too mention these details too my dad and he will be happy too hear them. Thanks , sorry, last off topic post from me.

Not much today, but tonight I'll be pouring a glass for our dear friend Luca...

After that, I'll try my luck in recreating two liveries for the 911 GT3 since there's the american cup running now, and see If I can make something out of a 2JZ-swapped Yaris. Tomorrow's a new day, we'll see what was fixed and what was broken per usual.

On the GTP account, I golded the Sardegna road course and Monza after turning the ABS up to default and turning on the ASM (though not the TCS). The first 6-star parts roulette I've seen on either account got me titanium connecting rods/pistons for the LaFerrari (the first of 2 I'll eventually want).

On the Plus account, I took a stock Radical to the Kyoto Human Comedy and turned it into a laugher. I stopped halfway through for fresh SH tires, though I probably didn't need to, and went slowly down the front stretch on lap 21 to avoid having to go 22 laps. I still won by 1:04. The 4-star Wheel of Despair gave the usual low-cash prize, this time for 30,000 Cr.

And....I did it! I'm farming the engines now, I think I'll try to go for all engine swaps and don't even touch the 4 star tickets to not waste time.

This **** feels illegal LMAO
