Recreated my upcoming Abarth 595 on the 500 as best I could. Even added the rear bumper reflector lights using a stock lamp decal I found on Showcase.

Thursday night and I shouldn't be gaming. Also I shouldn't be drinking. However after a rough day at work I thought I could use a distraction to forget my problems for a little while so I did a bit of both.

I test drove some cars at Autopolis and the theme today was hot hatches. The results as it follows:

I sold a copy of the Renault 5 and the Peugeot GTI. The Lancia is the best car of the pack, but the Golf GTi is my favorite.

I also bought a Ferrari 250 GTO just because my money balance was almost at 100M, I needed to spend some credits somehow... But being honest my favorite 20M car still is the Shelby Daytona. The 250 GTO I sold after some testing, I just can't like it or appreciate it. That's just me and my unpopular opinion.

Banged out the 5 weekly challenge races and loathed having to buy the newest Ferrari to do them. I find it perplexing that in order to complete all 5 races and get the 500k ticket, you have to buy a 550k car. Make that make sense, PD.

On the plus side it's Friday today, so I'll set the wheel up tonight and get some racing in over the weekend with that!

Friday night I completed the whole set of weekly races, the final 6 stars ticket gave me 1M. A 4 stars ticket due to my daily marathon gave me a 787b engine. Not bad prizes it all!

I also test drove the Renault Clio V6 and the Autobianchi Abarth. The former in stock form and the later fully tuned.

I sold the remaining copies from the Renault 5 Turbo and the Peugeot 205. Then I selected and downloaded a livery for my Honda Touring car.

It was a good GT7 day.

Thank you! It‘s my favorite thing to do in GT7!
Me too and also doing the scapes is fun too because you can place the car and driver anywhere and you can select the driver's pose. Some variables crack me up. Some settings confuse me though but other than that, I usually don't have any trouble making good photos or car/suit liveries.
 
One more day test driving cars at Autopolis short and working on downsizing my collection. Today I tested the Gordini '66. In its stock form (355pp) with comfort medium I got a 1:37:062. Then I got its suspension stiffened up, threw a bunch of engine parts and put some sport medium rubber. The lap time was 10 seconds faster: 1:27:184.

The car is ok in both forms. Stock and upgraded. For me at least it lacks on sound, customization and excitment. The driving as I said it's ok, but not good enough for me to keep it. Result: it got sold.

This was the car that surprised me most and made me at least THINK about GT7. Or was it GT2? (Before my time)

The owner was there and has a permanent grin.

The only critism I have of the M20 is... It's a GTS-T, so no GT-R AWD. Otherwise that is a stunning find and the Tommy Kaira cars should be added to GT7 along with the Mine's cars.

As for what I did today - went for a late night session, hooked up the steering wheel and blasted through the new weekly challenge races. Using the Radical SR3 for the PP600 race around Nurb kind of felt like cheating as it chews up the turns, but Gallo left me in the dust on the straights, making the second lap all about hooking up corner after corner at pace to gap Gallo. The Radical felt like an absolute treat to drive though, such a confident "road car" that has grip for days!

The session rolled on past midnight as I decided to do a few more of the S license stages (now sitting at 1x Silver and 3x Gold) and a few CE's, so I managed to get another daily marathon out of the way. Yesterday's was a 5* gifting a paltry 100k (lowest on the wheel) and today's was a 3* gifting 10k.

Also threw in for Daily B, first time racing that this week. Started last, finished 7th. Got some post-race abuse from a Muppet that couldn't keep it stable through turn one, resulting in them randomly braking mid-turn and me tapping their back end, which they took as intentional. Because every bit of contact, no matter how slight, is a personal attack that must be met with retribution!

Hey y'all,

Leading up to the GTWS Manus cup finals in London, I hopped onto Sport mode this morning and had an awesome battle race in an invited friends lobby race on GT7 today. It was a replica of the Tokyo expressway Daily race B and on Race 4 after the third race glitched out on me. The battling was Fast and furious and really intense with side by side racing on some of Tokyo's fastest corners!

I ended up clinching 1st place and battled hard to do so, with an A+ driver called SIM GT7 chasing my LEXUS buttocks all the way. It was a really fun race and love to share some good racing and our race battle.

Potentially battered my Dualsense controller on my PS5 though on this race lol!

Did PD fix that bug where Sophy at Intermediate difficulty is better than Expert? I just picked up a PS5 yesterday, and the Expert AI is putting up a better fight in the test race (N2-spec AE86s with a couple of Golf Mk1s around Tsukuba) than its Intermediate counterpart.
 
Decided to just find some open lobbies for some no-stress racing. Joined a GR4 with BoP lobby hosted by a chill American, spent a solid hour just doing race after race, with most races sitting between 10-16 racers. There were a few heated moments between other racers, but it's lobby racing with mixed DR and SR ratings (the host was A+/S) so contact is expected, and the races were just for fun!

All in it was quite an enjoyable evening!
 
Sunday morning, I changed the venue for my test driving sessions. Today I tested some italian cars at an italian track: lago maggiore central.

The results:

The Diablo and the Countach '88 had suspension works done, besides the usual sport parts (filter, muffler and brakes). The Merak and the older Countach were driven in stock forms. I also tried the Mangusta but Jesus.... That car is undrivable in stock settings.

I guess I'll keep the Countach '88 and the Merak. The Diablo and the other Countach got sold, just like the Mangusta (its younger sibling, the Pantera, is way better).

I remember a young skydragon49 used to have a miniature of a Countach, and not only that there's that old movie "Cannonball Run" that made me like this car more.

Kept bashing at Tokyo with diffrent cars, then settle in the BMYOTA GR Supra and got very mixed B lobby Races! En dof week finishes onto new races now.
