Just did this build today. On Asphalt it already feels amazing and I haven't even dialed in a setup yet. On dirt it needs abit of tweaking.

Today I completed the remaining sectors of my Nordschleife circuit experience, and left the lap attack for another day.

Also, made up a livery for my Kangoo and turbocharged it. Did a lap around the same Nordschleife. Crazy GT stuff.

Edit: after dinner and coffee, I decided to give it a try already. 2 completed laps later, gold it is. Happy days boys! Happy days!

The VR experience in this Cobra was so nice in the weekly at Trial Mountain that I simply HAD to do it twice. And may repeat it again over the weekend...

Saturday morning, before watching the qualifying for the British F1 GP I went back to Nurburgring.

I gave my Kangoo (in NA settings) a 2nd go and clocked a 8:19.

I also uploaded my Carrera 356 lap. The car is sligthy modified, but I gotta be honest I enjoyed the Citroen DS much more.

Jumped on for the first time this week, to do a Daily A, 'cause who doesn't love the Honda Civic race car around Tokyo!?

Started in 15th (last) and just off the start line I accidentally thumb L3, causing a flash of the lights (legit mistake). Guy directly in front pulls to the side, eases off the accelerator and turns hard left in to me, which I completely understand is a measured and rational response to someone flashing their lights in a videogame.

Violence is always the correct answer.

I think most of us, to some degree, aspire to be in the A+ lobbies, but do those who choose violence have such aspirations? Do they think ramming will get them to and be tolerated on the GT World Tour? Do they think violence is just another component to winning races?

I haven't done it yet, but I know what I'm going to do today.
Who would have thought that Alphard and Nur would be such a good match?
After seeing such cool and strange photos, I have no choice but to go to Nur in my Alphard.

Sunday morning, before the British F1 GP I uploaded one more lap around the Ring. This time I drove the Escort RS '92.

This car came up as a surprise. It's planted, nimble and pointy. It sounds good too and it doesn't seem to be a hard vehicle to tune. I had few changes done in the suspension settings, weight reduction 1 installed and the customary sport parts (brakes and pads, filter and muffler)

I decided to remove the double rear spoiler so the car could somehow resemble the Escort we used to have here in Brazil. I'll definetely come back for more laps with this car, maybe adding the aero parts and some engine tuning to add power. It feels to me this lap time didn't make justice to this lovely car.

Apologies for the negative rant, but I had to highlight some poor driving in an YT streamer's lobby that annoyed me yesterday on Sport mode.

To give some context, we started a final race on Trial Mountain in GR.3 cars, one driver claims I pushed him off on the uphill section in qualifying. Ok, maybe I did or didnt, I honestly dont remember. Sooo another Irish driver (DD in pic below) decides he's going to be the "white knight" and goes and purposefully rams me on Lap 1 at the exit tunnel left hander as retaliaition, wtf?? He even proclaims after ramming me into the wall, that he dont give a two craps.....hmmmm.....ok then, what a lovely prick.

Why go to the extent to spoil my race and ram me and then laugh at it and joke about it on someones stream, then not give two craps about your actions? He evens makes excuses for his stupid driving habits and feels it's justified???

These kind of drivers annoy the F out of me like some stupid frat pack of Lobby buddy drivers, they complain about "you hitting my friend, so ughh, so I'll frikkin ram ya and hit you off track." :banghead:

Unfortunatly, I didnt have space to save the replay or I could highlight it in the replay, but I do have a clip chunk of what they said and did on GTRealm's Livestream which I was partaking in it on Saturday 5th July.

Was tempted to report him, but I left it, now on second thoughts, maybe I should have for his incomprehensibly bad english.

CLIP starts 2:02:30 - 2:03:10 - Listen to the audio chat on stream, showing what they did.

Well the best thing to do in a situation like that is to just ignore it and let it go. It's not worth getting yourself worked up and upset about it. Things happen. Well, good luck with the rest of your races on gt7.

This applies to one of the weekly races, and if it behaves the same for you, I don't want to spoil the lovely surprise, so the following is hidden as a spoiler. It was a lot of fun

The 10 lap race at the Red Bull Ring
Weather looks glorious, radar sees nothing within 50 miles
(Little did I know that Trump/DOGE had defunded the radar)
Racing Hards on the Mazda
Lap 1 = perfect sunny weather
Lap 2.1 and it's clouding over
Lap 2.4 and rain starts
Lap 2.5 and the rain is torrential
Lap 2.8 and the water depth is rising alarmingly
Lap 3.0 and it's 100% aquaplaning for all cars. The replay was pretty funny 😂
Lap 3.1 = time to restart. Should have pitted for Inters!

Looking for a great car for visitors to experience VR.

The Honda 2&4, being so open, looks like a top contender. Painted to blend with the upholstery colors, detuned to about 120 horses and it's very nice at Bathurst and others. Now I have to find an unsuspecting neighbor to beta test my choice.

Did some more custom races today. This was Sophy but it also applies to the regular AI.

With close grid/rolling starts and the Boost set to Weak, this could’ve been the best GT single player gameplay experience by a wide margin.

Head to head with GT3, imo, and then with the additions GT7 has like more opponent cars and dynamic time of day and weather, it wins out.

They fumbled it but short 3-4 lap custom races are giving me a second lease of life for this game.

Picking a car with random rival cars, load up reusable custom race settings, adjust time of day and/or laps, make weather custom and random.

Flip to reduced ECU/power restrictor sheet when in pre-race menu when driving against regular AI (I reduce to 96% on average, no need to against Sophy) and boom.

Takes less than 30/45 seconds after you’ve set up the race settings once, after which you can reload for any track, and you’ve got a guaranteed at least decent race with regular AI, really good races with Sophy.

If you wanted more from GT7, try custom races, and always set Boost to Weak (it’s the fastest option for the regular AI and Sophy with the least overall rubberbanding, it primarily only boosts them when they’re behind so it helps keep things close, but you can still break away in varied cars if you’re fast enough).

If you want quick, fun races, pick a car and a track, load your custom race settings, do the ECU/power restrictor detune when in the pre-race menu (don’t edit custom race settings unless at 100% ECU/restrictor) and boom, you’re off.

The most fun I’ve had in GT7 and the most fun since I played GT3 a while back.

i did a custom race last night at dragon trail gardens using 700pp fuel and tire wear the ai pits 4-5 times while i pit once during the 10 lap race

Finished off the Super Formula Menu. I began with Watkins Glen yesterday, and did Circuit de Sainte-Croix this morning. I had a lot of issues with Fuji, I kept spinning out and when on my successful run, it was only barely, I pitted on lap 7 for intermediate tyres, in anticipation of incoming rain, only for most of it to miss, only the final dark blue part hit.

To make matters worse, the AI was hot on my tail, so I couldn't pop into the pits and put on mediums, so I had to do the rest of the race in intermediate tyres, which lost most of it's grip by lap 13.

By the final lap, I had lost grip entirely in my FL wheel, but just about managed to get it with a few seconds difference.

I started working on my Speed Six custom grid. I have all the cars so I started working on the liveries.

I plan on using swapped versus non-swapped cars. I plan on using the same 2 liveries but change the colors, numbers and rims
I took this picture in scapes. It turned out pretty well to me. Next I tried the subbie I won at Sardegna. I didn't like it so I switched to the Sauber. Got a Supra engine from a 4 ⭐ 🎟️

Tested fuel use at Le Mans with the GR010 and a Group C Porsche at Le Mans. The Toyota can do 22 laps and the Porsche 21 laps. In the real world the Toyota will do 11 laps on the first stint and 12 after that with the possibility of 13 laps if the driver fuel saves the whole stint. The Porsche could do 16 laps.
