What did you do in GT7 today?

I didn't play since GT4. I put 400.000 racing kms on that game. It felt so good to get into GT7, very relatable to GT4. The only thing I miss is B-spec mode. I wish you the best with the game, old school rocks. Don't let the negative comments of new players about the bad economy in-game get you down. Just play and enjoy the eye candy.

I bought my son a Thrustmaster T248 while I play old school with a controller. He prefers Beamng drive though on his pc. But it's compatible with PS4, I made sure of that. I just want to play chill and relaxed.
Thx, man. I follow the game since the launch. I see some ytbers that i like, and sometimes gtplanet.
i know the economy is not great, but i dont care.
I like road car, tweaking with setups, and improve times. Think i'm gonna enjoy very much

Me I fitted a widebody kit to a BMW M3 and giggled like a adolescent boy would on getting a glimpse of his first pair of lovely jubblies in the flesh on a girl he fancied .

The Animation is without a doubt the funniest thing I have ever seen in GT , like since I started playing 25 years ago .

You ?

Criticism of the game within a post is fine, but this thread is about telling us what you did in the game today, not what you didn't do.
Took my Supra to the Nürburgring and finally nailed a clean lap without spinning out felt amazing! Then spent way too long customizing the livery just right

Today I created a 600pp champion with the extremely fuel and tyre efficient Porsche 904.
(available at Hagerty for 2.1M)
Weighing only 700kg and powered by a 2L flat 4 300hp (after tuning) engine, it certainly takes up speed and corners like a dream (after some fine tuning).
In the notoriously known Tokyo 600 12L race, it didn't need to refuel nor change tyres (Sport soft) and claimed the victory over the RE Amemiya RX7 with a 3 sec gap, after overtaking the RX7 in lap 9 during its pitstop.
It was an epic race, on a triple pepper level, a new 600pp star was born. 😎

Can I ask for a copy your tuning setup on this car?

Completed my grid of 2016 SuperGT cars and using the custom race option I created a version of SEGA World Drivers Championship. 3 lap chase the rabbit races using sophy and regular A.I. Worked great.

Then I decided to run a 1000 km race at Suzuka. Which is 173 laps. I added a few GT3/300 cars for some back markers. After 30 laps cars started pitting. I was in second place 13 seconds ahead but 13 seconds behind the leader who eventually pitted after another 10 laps. I was leading by about 40 seconds. Then the rubber banding kicked in. Until that point I had the fastest lap with a 1:50. The AI put in a lap of 1:46 and my lead evaporated so I decided to pit after around 50 laps and came out last in the GT500 class. I decided that if the AI was going to cheat then I would put soft tires on my car. I tore through the field until I reached third. It became impossible to pass, even though I was on a softer compound of tire and the rest of the field swamped me. At this point, I decided another 120 or so laps would be pointless so I quit.

To cancel out or diminish to a maximum possible the rubber banding by the AI, set boost to low when setting up the race. It will be or should be a game changer. Also, I play on triple pepper difficulty but set the opposition at experienced in stead of professionals. Maybe this will help you, if you hadn't done this already.

If I set the boost to weak the Sophy AI just drives into the distance. Also I find that the difficulty is irrelevant when boost is set to weak. The AI will put in very similar lap times no matter what the difficulty is set to but I’ll experiment with the peppers.

Jumped on for a quick rip around SSX for the daily login and a laugh. Made a rash decision coming down the hill, I moved out to the right, leaving the bump-train as it was getting messy. Fortunately 2 other racers behind me decided to follow and bumped me along.

Was in 1st when we went in to the first turn. 3rd coming out of the turn but my 2 friends stuck to it and kept bumping me. I figured they'd be wanting to stay close and slip by towards the line, so went tight to the right into the final turn, easing out to mid-track and then back to the right on the final straight. The driver in 2nd just started to move out from behind me with enough speed but got tapped by the person in 3rd as they were thinking the same, the collision took them both out, giving me an easy win in the meme-race!

I got on for a few minutes while my family went to down to the park. I got half way through Tokyo with the Escort before I had to leave to pick up dinner. I had bought another Red Tuscan Speed Six to keep stock. I did the daily marathon and got a 4 star ticket which I didn't open yet

I made a livery for the Toyota GT1 and raced it at Suzuka World Touring Car 800. Started on softs expecting the rain to come in early. I was right. I pitted before half way and chose intermediate tyres to take them to the end, along with a full fuel tank. The last 2 laps the track was drying up real quick and my tyres were worn. Despite a lead of 15 secs, the Subaru was gaining in on me rapidly. The very last chicane and long curve to the finish line, that WRX got right behind me and I just couldn't find the grip for a proper acceleration. It was down to the last yards and somehow the WRX got beside me and took the victory with a 0.033 sec gap. Pretty painful yet exciting 2nd place. Unfortunately the game froze during the reward screen so I couldn't save the replay and take the finish photo.
