Im OG GT player but new to GT7.. I did this today on PS4 with DS4 using X for throttle [] for brakes R1 and L1 shifting lol

had to toy around with tcs (well 0 or 1 ) on some parts..

if spec 3 goes nice I'll definitely getting wheel again

All golds on Nordschleife CE with those buttons on DS4 no less is quite impressive. Maybe try L2/R2 (I hear they suck on the DS4 though) or else right stick (up/down) for throttle and break. Should make you faster after a short getting used to.

Personally I finally managed to get my hands on this bad boy to complete all cafe menus. Resulting 6 star ticket netted 500k.

I tried some of the new cars today: the Hyundai Elantra N, Mazda 12R Roadster and the Toyota Land Cruiser.

I was especially impressed with the Elantra, it‘s lots of fun to drive and feels very responsive and nimble. Probably the best handling FWD car in the game besides the FL5 Civic Type R.

I didn't actually do that but as fairly new to gt7 I got Ferrari invitation so I have question.. Is it even worth to buy them at this point where I just started the game and haven't even finished menu books.. Im only on 37 or something like that.. due to some good online racing and circuit experience things I have around 16 mil

I would go ahead and buy them. Especially the Enzo. Right now the invites are hard to come by. It took me about year before got a Ferrari invite. That said they are doing away with the invite system in the Spec III update so if you want to wait you can

YES, you will never know when a Ferrari invite will come again, they are not common...

Invitations will absolutely still be in the game, there's just a new permanent ticket system too.

It remains to be seen exactly how it will work, but from the looks of it you'll receive permanent Invitations when you reach certain points of the new, higher Collector Levels. That would likely mean that the month-long ones will persist at lower levels - in the same way engine tickets are a thing but when you hit CL50 you can buy any one you want any time.

This being the case, you can afford to not rush to buy Invitation cars on expiring tickets early in the game, and just collect them later on with the permanent ones. You will need a car collection in excess of 60m credits though, and likely much more depending on the new CL cap.

Guys I just want to thank you all, after long time without GT games and currently without wheel I didn't have much fun with game. Today I listened to you and I got all 3 Ferraris, than I finished Ferrari book with LaFerrari, bought Mangusta, Stratos and Mercedes 190 Evo 2 because I like these cars.. After than I went to finish book 39, won championship, got Finale trophy and I actually got Porsche Carrera GT after that.. I was so happy so I played little bit more, bought 10 karts, safety AMG car to get 2 more trophies and than Tomahawk X so I got 2 more trophies.. After that I opened 6 star ticket and got 1.000.000 on it so after all that I'm still over 10.000.000... I think it was good day, I'll definitely buy wheel when spec 3 comes out and until than I'll try to grind for coins and trophies because I want Platinum honestly

They can wait for the next invitation, you can always farm/grind for more credits.
Best race to do so is the WTC700 at Le Mans 825,000 per 30 minute race...

They are pretty good so I would get them. Today I finally broke down and bought the Porsche 550. Also got another FJ40 in green,. Went to UCD and bought the green Dino and a greenish BMW. Almost bit on the Cobra that had 21 miles on it. But I decided against it

Speaking of the Porsche 962 (which is an awesome car IMHO), the driver mirror placements are awful.

For a while there, I thought there must be no mirror!

Here's the 962 compared with a couple of others. Draw an imaginary line between the driver's eye and the mirror...

As mentioned in another thread that I am a collector of Le Mans racers and just added two to my permanent collection. Michael Fassbender entered and ran in 2022 and 2023 24 hours of Le Mans. The team DNF both years. I am impressed that he started this endeavour in 2020 and was determined to see and race at Le Mans.
After his first DNF in 2022, he was not going to give it up and continued on and made it back to Le Mans in '23 to which unfortunately a solo incident just past the Porsche Curves wrecked the Porsche RSR #911 irreparably and Proton Competition had to lower the garage door once again.
I am a big fan of Mr. Fassbender and I added his two Porsches to my collection.

There are so many other Porsche RSR from Le Mans that are well known but I wanted something different but remarkable.

(I think I'll do more historical notes on the cars of Le Mans here, if nobody complains...)

I watched the whole series that was put out (as each little part was originally released). Interesting stuff. He obviously has a passion for racing.

I also have both of these liveries in my garage, for the same reason. Also, I'm Irish (and I also spent time living in Germany) so I almost feel obliged to support his endeavors.
