Still fun to have it land on a car though.
It should be. Unfortunately, in my case, the powers that be have clearly decided that I am to be inundated with Toyobaru GTBRZ's. No idea why. The PD/Toyota AI marketing bot has obviously decided that I am their key demographic, and thus shall have them perpetually shoved down my throat for all eternity...

Other than that... I totally agree.

good to see someone else new to the game 👍 keep us posted.. I started little bit more than month ago and just finished book 41
Today I reached the Café Menu 17 (Trial Mountain Cup), so I need to get the A license first. My luck with roulette spins is still rotten, eyes closed or not). I'm up to 40+ cars owned at this point. I have painted some cars, fitted some parts, took some pictures on Scapes mode, etc.

I'm little bit more deep in it.. 42 books.. but ocd kicked in so today I decided to gold everything I started so far

Today I decided to pick up tuning. With the same car as in my profile picture (different color though), the R33.

I put a huge turbo on it whilst picking the parts.

And I couldn't get it to work. So in the end I kept adjusting and tuning and whatever, till I decided to just remove the whole thing.

Which brought me just under 400hp. And all the weight reduction enabled.

Long story short, I managed to get a lap in on the Nürnbergring of 7 minutes and 5 seconds.

And I couldn't get my Porsche 918 to go much faster than that. Maybe hitting 7 minutes 3 seconds or something. The Porsche 918, with almost twice the power. Although it is heavy too.

It was very fun. It took a long time, but I removed the turbo. Put the downforce almost all the way up. And adjusted the front wheels to point inward a little. For balance in a straight line.

This is the same kind of fun I had in GT4 days. I'm back in business.

Ohh yeah and I wanted to keep it on sports medium.

And it worked.

I reached Café Menu 21, and I have to make some tuning adjustments for the championship. I need more speed on the Expressway, and I need the car to turn at Fuji! (Fuji is horrible here and everywhere). And on the roulette spins, even 3-star ones return the lowest of prizes... Maybe it's an inside joke aimed at FH?

I also received invitations to buy some Ferrari models, and went to the Exclusives garage, but I'm

Did have a quick practise on Autospolit full before the meltdown of AWS servers. now just waiting for the green flag to get back in action (gave Rory a heads up about the issues)

Missed the F40

I remember I was excited about everything during GT7 presentation, but there was something I overlooked and didn't think much about or excited about the livery system, but this thing is actually so fire

Okay so I haven't raced much today. Won't make my daily marathon.

But yesterday evening, pretty late I must say, I did a run on the Nürnbergring with the Porsche 918. And I messed it up after the long straight. Damn, that was hard.

I went so incredibly fast with that thing.

And then I mess it up. It made me spin after the long straight. But I recovered and immediately continued cause I knew I could still compare lap times that way. And what the time could have been without a crash.

And it was still a sub seven minute lap. 6 minutes and 55 seconds.

And without crash it could have been maybe... 6 minutes 50? I don't know really. That's a bit optimistic, cause I recovered relatively quickly. But my gosh.

That car, stock, is so hard to drive around there.

Or maybe I'm still getting used to the physics of this game.

But I'm improving.

I've put about 20 hours into the game since I got the PS5 last week, so maybe I'm liking the game. :D I'm on the Alfa Romeo's menu (23?) now.

My favorite car so far is probably the Ferrari 308, and the roulette tickets I'll just let them accrue.

Finally got to do the 30 minute PP700 race at Le Mans. I have no idea how I missed this.

The pit stop is interesting. Grab a replay and step through it frame by frame. Things happen which don't appear in the "play" speed.

And rules are clearly meant to be broken...

So if that photographer can get away with it, so can I...

This time I caught TWO of them breaking the rules. Must be twins.

I wish I could change the tire letters. I might go back and remove the Dunlop sticker

since I did a lot of hot lapping lately, I'm kinda of frustrated that all golds take much time on DS4 so I decided to grind for credits.. since I don't know Tokyo track very well it was also frustrating but in legendary shop today there was Lancia Delta Rally car which is one of my favorites, instantly bought it, stole some tune on YT, changed it little bit because torque ratio didn't make sense to me and now Im happy I have my first grinding event and car... also when I bought it I managed to hit lvl 50 in collector so now my plan is to grind coins and try to get platinum, after that I'll get wheel and enjoy my cars (I buy them but leave them stock 90% of the time).. btw for all newish players like me, I highly recommend getting Delta, 300k is bargain :)
