Back in the 1960s, a mate had a DS19 in Australia. I totally agree with Jay Leno's assessment. It is a simply amazing vehicle, and as he said, supremely comfortable. The suspension was like riding a cloud. I still recall the feeling of my shoes sinking into the soft floor in the back seat.

Sluggish to accelerate, but once up to speed, one could pretty much ignore corners and should one have to stop, the massive inboard disk brakes with their vented cooling just ripped the speed down to zero in a moment.
 
I was going to enter today's noon slot for the GTWS Nations Cup Exhibition Series 3, but I got this weird disconnection error and wasn't able to. That said, I'm fine with entering the 9pm slot, since I had other stuff going on this afternoon. In the meantime, I did some laps for the online time trial featuring Gr.2 @ Autopolis, and specifically used the Honda NSX Concept-GT to get a very solid silver-worthy time.
 
finished 2 menu books (4 left to do) and tried le mans 30 mins first time ever.. took Jaguar XJ13 on map 6 and just cruised... btw I crashed it 2 times hard and still got CRB which I don't understand how it works because on Tokio 600pp I sometimes don't touch anything and don't get it.. also saw on dashboard I now did over 10,000 km in game ( I think I'm playing it too much since I started not even 2 months ago)

Same car I used for it. Fuel map 4 for the whole race (pit on laps 3 and 6) One of my favorite vehicles in the game.

FYI you will only lose the CRB (in this race) if you pass under a yellow flag. Everything else is fair game.

Happy to report that it can touch 1:03s once again after the physics changes. Previous PB was from a Peugeot 908 HDI FAP '10.


Or could be a sign that I am actually improving on my T598.

just finished weekly challenges for the first time.. kinda waste of time, got 10k from 4 star roulette, 200 k for challenges and stupid VW VGT from 6 star roulette... I thought this race is going to be massive waste of time but at the end I enjoyed trowing this thing around...
