Made a nice Red Ferrari 296 into the Novitec looking 296 GTRooooo treatment and modified it to 1,218bhp and it got Ceramic brakes and heavy mods, to make it zooom zoom around Tsukuba, traction a bit sticky on drag races as it so powerful!!! But a great sounding car and lovely drive for a modern ferarri.

I finished 2nd in the Super Formula race at St Croix (C layout, I think), I probably was very conservative on tire selection, I should go softs next time. I finished the Subaru WRX menu and also purchased both 296 Ferraris, my collector level is now at 46.

What Fuel mix did you use? I tried it last night I was able to get 3 laps at FM6. I use a manual and I do a lot f short shifting. The car is a great car so smooth and quick. <snip>
Thank you! I took your advice and played with the FM control. And indeed, short shifting and FM6 allowed me to do the final 3 laps without a pit stop, sailing to victory. The first 4 laps were driven hard with a pit stop in the middle for both fuel and IM tyres since the weather was about to go full-on monsoon at the end of lap 2.

Again welcome to the club, glad you are loving it... We don't lie, we truly want more people to experience it the game the right way.

Do you have a wheel ?
😅😅 Thanks for the most warm welcome!! I do have to say a lot, but it’s mostly variations of the same answer: IT IS REALLY ANOTHER WHOLE EXPERIENCE and I don’t even have a wheel yet…! Have already done like 5 hours of VR play today and no dizziness nor headache nor eye fatigue (and with glasses! Which I started using this year for the first time in my life 😅😅) only true excitement (obviously I’m very new at VR and that coolness factor may heavily influence my opinions) but for being the first time ever and again going almost blind, I can say my first impression is basically flawless!

I’ll share more of my experience in the PSVR2 thread!!

WOn it on one go, was way easier than I expected
Drove the 2008 Epson NSX GT500
I didn't have to buy the new 2023 Ferrari 296 GT3, still saving it for later ...

Going from 20 last to first... Made me feel like Max lol

At least I completed my daily workout

Your welcome! I usually start at FM6 with any car I try then depending on how fast it is I will adjust the fuel mix to get the best speed/fuel ratio for the race. For the longest time I was obsessed with being able to get the most laps before pitting but that would cause a car to be slower than I like so I wouldn't use the car. So * missed out on a lot of capable cars for LeSarthe. I had to adjust my thinking and I have been use a wide variety of cars there.

My honest to God reaction after finally playing GT7 on my new PSVR2:

I honestly feel like I finally got into the 21st century after living my whole life like a hermit playing games on a black and white old tv set 😳😂 that’s how I can best describe the impact of just doing three laps in the Mines GTR at my go to test track DragonTrail Seaside. I had no idea of the track’s very surprising elevation changes which made me react waaayyyyy differently as before (and I have a 55” 4K tv at 8 feet from me).

Plus the amazing, surreal and very highly detailed interior! The rear view mirror even has the Mines logo etched in it!!

Now I fully understand. Now I fully appreciate what Kaz said as VR was always the main focus for GT7. Now everything makes sense.

Yes it was an impulse buy. And the best impulse buy I’ve ever done in my life!

I am still having goosebumps!!!!
For me, purchase choices (especially for expensive cars) are HEAVILY influenced by how the interior looks.

So I sit in every car before buying it. And I turn around to peer in every direction. Sometimes slumping down in my chair to look under the dash.

And when I win a new car, I just have to sit in it.

On the other hand, when I win a car which has no interior, I'll usually sell it. Driving a car with my chin on the top of the windscreen just doesn't do it for me.

Finished the Historic branch of the Power Pack and unlocked the Gr C Le Mans endurance. Gonna hold off on doing the enduros until I finish everything else.

Tripped over something odd at the start of the 24 hour variant of the Ring.

If you look closely at the following screen shot, in the area of the license plate, you'll see a reflection of a text fragment...

I used a glossy decal to cover up the number plate. I guess it must be angled upwards to catch this reflection.

Did new Goodwood European race for weekly in my Polar Silver 959. Easy first place win and 100,000cr. then I took Ford GT 2017 around American Daytona race 3 times to get rest of daily workout. It gave me 5-star ticket and prize was part for BRZ 2015.

So then went to second PSN account. Did pretty much same thing but with Cayman GT4 and Camaro 2016 instead. Daily was another 5-star ticket for yet another part.

A little annoyed but still hopeful decided to go onto my 3rd final PSN account and do it again but with BMW M3 1997 and Tomahawk S. Got daily workout and reward was... 6-star parts ticket.

You can take your parts polyphony and shove them up you knows what.

That is really awesome livery @Imbissbrunto ! Very impressive recreation. :D

Today was real good and productive day in GT7 unlike yesterday was. Today I finished both Kyoto CEs with gold. I finished Watkins Glen CE with silver. Completed Tsukuba CE with gold. Completed Blue Moon Bay infield CE with gold. Completed Eiger Nordwand reverse CE with gold. Complete Road Atlanta CE with gold.

Bought Maserati Spyder 1954, Mazda RX-Vision concept 2015, Renault Espace F1 1995, and Audi TT 2009. Completed Maserati extra menu and Mazda extra menu with 500k Cr. reward each. Completed Audi TT extra menu with 30k Cr. reward. Completed seasonal menu with reward Porsche Mission X 2023.

I got my daily workout reward, a 5-star ticket with 100k Cr. 👍

Feeling good with how much I achieve today. :)

Fantastic work!

I've had the honour of standing next to the #1 car on the grid at the N24 in 2024 - it was a very special moment, and watching this car win on it's debut appearance at the N24 was a key inspiration for my trip.

That's awesome mate! I bet it looked amazing IRL, the 296 is by far my favorite GT3 car currently.

Attending the Nürburgring 24h race is actually on my bucket list but I haven't had time for that yet. Have you been to any other 24h races?

I finished the Super Formula menu with a 3rd place at Fuji. I think that race gave me tendonitis!
Anyways, I got another SF car from the daily roulette spin, go figure. And with some purchases I raised my collector level to 47.

I started the 24 Hour Le Mans Group C Endurance race in the Power Pack DLC. Report as follows:

Took pole with a time of 3:05:6xx. 2nd and 3rd qualified at 3:06:4xx.
I am driving the Nissan, top 4 are driving the Porsche except T. Miyazono in the Mercedes.

I trade the lead back and forth with J Serrano for the first 4-5 laps. The Porsche outruns me basically everywhere but the Nissan outbrakes the Porsche and I can carry more speed through the corners than the AI does.

I solidify the lead by lap 6. Only about 1.5 seconds but I'm there.

Lap 11 J Serrano pits from 2nd at 41% fuel. He is on Soft tires. Not sure if he had tire issues or what. Nobody else pits.
This gives me an about 10 second lead over 2nd and 3rd who are K Drumont in the Porsche and T. Miyazono in the Mercedes.

I am on Mediums and at lap 11 have 9.5 laps of fuel left and 1/5th worn tires.

Lap 16 - I am gaining approximately 0.7500 per lap on 2nd. J Serrano is 42 seconds back after his pit stop.
Lap 17 - K. Drumont and P. Urra pit. Both take Mediums and fill from 5% fuel. T. Miyazono to 2nd, J. Serrano to 3rd.

Lap 19 - I pit from 1st at 4% fuel remaining. My Mediums are about 1/3 front to 1/2 rear worn. They kinda drive like Hards at anything over 1/3 worn.
T. Miyazono also pits from 2nd. Takes Softs. J. Serrano is 11 seconds back in 2nd now. K Drumont it 14 back in 3rd.
Exit the pits on Lap 20, this is almost exactly 1 full hour. 23 Hours Remain

I can keep writing this, not sure if this is the right place for it. Regardless I'm having a great time!
