How on Earth are you supposed to enter/exit pits without getting a stupid 3 seconds penalty? I swear to God, Odin, Zeus and every other deity that may be of your liking...I am not touching any of the yellow lines, still I keep getting the damn penalty.
Let's see some replays.

You're touching the solid yellow line on the way in or not steering with autodrive and catching it on release on exit.

Bought the Mercedes UniPOG last night and took it around the Nürburgring today. 19:13 flat. Top speed: 74 MPH. Probably the most painful lap of my life.
Well, its a personal best of some kind

Finished my 5th race in Sport mode to start building my DR on my new profile.
I was already Sportsmanship rating 'S' before the end of my 5th race, which means more to me than DR to be totally honest.
I think the highest I reached on my previous profile was a DR of B (just barely). I don't mind being mid table as long as I can have some clean racing and a few podiums here and there :)

Briefly returned from virtual Japan to do some weekly events, and after seeing that my GT-R either doesn't brake or doesn't turn in Saint Croix (like any other car there), I'm dropping this week too.

Can someone tell me why the Lightweight K-Cup race on the Nürburgring has the heaviest rain I've ever encountered in-game? I saw the sky turning gray so I switched on the weather radar and immediately went "OH MY GOD!!!"

Fun race though. I love kei cars so much.

Customised the new cars all up, I liked the original BMW one but there is no way to recreate the carbon effect so I went with the old V12 LMR livery.

Been very busy today 🤣 😅 did the weekly event and power pack weeklies. Last race used the Hyundai group 1 and it started to rain I thought oh I have inters etc no I did not 🤣 so stayed out on racing medium was gentle with throttle rain cleared up and track came back to me yay 😁 won the race , then been doing so much power pack races been a lot of fun, great race Alfa 155 Sardegna course B layout was great with ai, another stand out was tri oval Daytona group 3 I was in corvette gr3 slip stream fest but managed to win too by nothing some great moves on last lap was fun too, the radar was chaos cars everywhere lol. 😝 and got the Mustang American racer , the Porsche Rallye, and the Porsche safety car. Also finished with just over $26 million so in very good shape to buy all WEC HyperCars later in the week and if it comes to legendary dealership Mercedes Benz Grand Prix car or the Alfa Romeo easy 😁 🥳 $20 million. Back to FH6 now 😉

Did a couple 15 minute races with the WEC grid. I've been feeling the regular AI was different and a good challenge at Le Mans and Maggiore Center reverse.
I was in the GT3 class using the #78 RC F(thanks to @Imbissbrunto replica liveries). BoP On, the other GT3 cars and my teammate #87, were pretty speedy. Leaving me behind in small increments.

Been super excited for the new update so had some laps in Online Time Trial trying all the new cars (don't know why I needed to, as if I'm not going to buy all asap!)
About to start some of the weekly challenges and will sneak in a Power Pack race with one of the new Hypercars.
Anyone else just been excited to drive the Peugeot ever since they first showed their return to LeMans in the Hypercar class?
I don't know why but there's always been something exciting about Peugeot at LeMans.
My brother even found me a Hot Wheels model of the 9X8!! 😅

(Btw anyone got the Stealth models from the Viewer Challenge from the latest GTWS yet?)

I did 15 laps at Le Mans, 3 in each of the Hypercars - including the Toyota GR010.

Of the 4 new hypercars, the Porsche 963 was the quickest and easiest to drive for me - I got 3:31.4xx bone stock on RM tyres.

The Porsche 963 and the Peugeot 9X8 hit the highest top speeds (210 MPH), but the Ferrari 499P appears to handle better than the 9X8, and so they both logged roughly equal times (3:32.8xx - 3:33.0xx). The BMW was slowest and I could only manage a 3:35.8xx and a stop speed of just over 200 MPH.

I was surprised to see that the Toyota GR010 was quicker than the Porsche, and logged a 3:31.2xx, despite losing time at Mulsanne.

I'm using the controller, and I remember being shocked at how much faster I was able to go using the wheel, but it's fun to compare like-for-like, and I think with a bit of tuning, they should all be very close to each other.

I got a 6* (Engine) ticket for my troubles, and got an Espace F1 engine.

Bought the update cars and got Subbie GRp B road car for my birthday. Got 500k from the seasonal menu

Back to grinding and I checked legendary dealership there’s a Mercedes for sale the SL not the w196 for extra menu book hahaha 🤣 oh well I keep saving. And really enjoy the power pack. Doing willow springs beetle found it hard in practice then once I got my head around it and was smoother etc going much quicker. I kinda love that about Gran Turismo nothing is impossible just need a lot of practice and I feel like Gran Turismo wants you to get better to. If I struggle with a time trial event etc. still have missions to do to so I still have plenty of credits to earn so I can keep $20 mill base line then have enough for all WEC HyperCars

I just did the one lap magic weekly challenge with the Peugeot 9X8. There is no excuse to make players wait 75 seconds every time they attempt it. Absolutely rage inducing. Thank god I got it after three attempts.

I agree about the Porsche being the fastest of the new cars and my fastest lap is down on my Toyota time in the same mode.

I took a couple 24hrs (1 hour long) custom races in Le Mans both Hypercars and GT3's.

What a pitty that there aren't newest editions of Corvette and Aston Martin GT3 cars...

And something last after so many hours the cars are at the cleanest form (no dust or bugs in windshield and the bodywork)!!!!

Back to it again today 🤣, the power pack has been so helpful with credits, tickets and cool cars. I also did Sardegna twice today wtc 800 event that helped then just been doing lots of power pack it’s been fun and now I’m sitting on $32.2 million so all WEC HyperCars will be bought today and I saw a Peugeot 9x8 in 6 star ticket but I got $500,000 it’s all helped. Still will have 20 million for Mercedes or Alfa Romeo for extra menus. All good 😊 I think I over thinking it during week hahaha 🤣 🥳

A four lap race around Le Mans with the Porsche 963. I used the version with no chicanes and my fastest lap was 3:27 which is pretty rubbish considering the lack of chicanes. Then I did it again on the correct version of the track for the car. I've really slowed down in the last few years. I did a 3:29 in the Toyota but I can't get anywhere new that time now. In three months I'll be 60 years old and I seem to be saying goodbye to any speed I used to have.

Nice new GT1 cars bud i cant beat the weekly with them. Whats the strat there?
It's possible to beat the race without pitting by saving fuel/tires, but what I like to do is push hard and stop once on lap 4 or 5.

When it comes to tuning, for Le Mans I prefer minimum downforce both front and rear. However, this makes the car more grippy in the front (dangerous at Indianapolis entry for example) so you'll have to lower the rake accordingly (especially on the Porsche, which is most sensitive to front-rear grip balance). Lift the front a bit compared to the rear, just enough to make it so you don't lose the rear at high speeds.
