Same thing baseball cards do. Just attach to your bicycle, in between the spokes, and...

They're for general education, and to enhance the community experience by trading and collecting with your friends.

I find they make nice gifts.

I just spewed CocaCola out my nose!!!!!

That got me as well. Hilarious,

The cards are good for learning facts, but once you have read them they are pretty much useless.

Just another collection for everyone to chase after

They used to make your game file corrupt. Now however they tell you about the history of car manufacturers featured in the game, that's all.

Is not the probleme with the Museum's cards fixed?

I looked them over for the first few weeks, but got bored with them. Their images are small, as I recall, and often not much to look at, and they come with captions that say very little. They're perhaps a neat idea, but just turned out bland. They're not even presented well, but rather in just about the most lifeless fashion possible. I stopped giving a crap about them altogether a few months back, I think.

They are quite interesting to read, they give you a load of background about the history of the manufacturers a look at some of the notable or historic cars and give you a sense of where each car manufacturer has come from.

No that either sounds dull as dishwater to you or interesting. Of course you could just look at them as football/baseball/pokemon (depending on what part of the world your from) cards and just feel the need to collect them all.

^^^ A well put answer.

forgot to mention... japans version doesnt have them!!! maybe there is a reason. at first they cause data issues, now they just fill space. I would like an option to not recieve them because if they just keep coming what will happen? they fill your ps3's space with un needed data

Just trade them.

Didn't know they don't have those cards included.

Its a shame we cant trade them in for something like a mental racing car that comes from that manufacturer once we complete their collection

I find them interesting but think there's no point reading them until the collection's complete, really. I transfer 5 from my bob auto-grinding account to main each day in the hopes of finishing the collection some time this millennium. :/

Prize cars, what an awesome idea, that would have been a great way to acquire some historic cars rather than spending 15 to 20 million credits.:)

I already have the Ferrari 330,Toyota 7,Chaparral 2d so I don't really care but it is a great idea.

They hold interesting and useful infos about...cars :)

I hate when you get a museum card for a car that is not in the game though, like the 93 Mustang Cobra, that sucks reading about all its coolness, but not being able to drive one. Also the other issue is only a handful of manufactures are represented, would love to see all of them, especially the ones I don't know much about.

I have loads probably around 200 and I don't know what they're for.

They compete with the B-Spec mode for the most useless feature of GT5 :indiff: Just imagine all the time that has been wasted of researching the content of them, preparing the pictures, etc. We could have several more premium cars, tracks, races if they hadn't wasted their time on that.
