I think making hybrids is a great way to "preserve" the life of GT3, but excesive and absurd hybrids are a waste of talent, why make a Supra or Audi S4 with 10000hp, totally unreal! :(

Well, I haven't got any of the kit needed to make hybrids, but one of the reasons I haven't is that, like you mentioned, they would just be too unrealistic. I prefer to take an already fast car, and then just tune it in the normal way to make it quicker. Thats fun enough in my view.

But then again, the NSX is limited to about 400 or 500 hp. Which I think is a load of crap. All the other really good Japanese cars can get to 800 or 900 hp. 800 hp sounds much better than 400 hp to me.

Then it's always fun to make yourself a 5000 hp drag car and see how fast you run the 400m or test track. But the real challenge is making that 5000 hp car handle well on other tracks.

sorry 4 this question which u will probably find dumb but wtf r u talkin about 10,000hp? whats a hybrid?

Welcome to the forums. :)

The Coles Notes version of "what is a hybrid" is:

A hybrid is a car that you take bits and pieces of different cars and stick 'em all together.

Like, if you take a Mini, throw in a Speed 12 engine, the Turbo from a Vitz RS, the NA Tune from a New Beetle (etc... etc...) you can end up with around 9,000 hp in your car. It's (normally) done using a piece of software on your computer that edits your saved game file.

If you've got a Sharkport (or an X-Port), then head over to the hybrid area (http://forums.gtplanet.net/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=13&daysprune=) and the fine folks there will give you a hand.

You can also make some of the changes with a GameShark, but I've got no experience with that, so again, I point you towards the hybrid gang over there...

its unrealistic. I dont like them. I prefer realistic hybrids under 1000hp. I like how some ppl change the complete look of the car ;)
