Heh.

I thought the CC is meant to handle better than the normal Gti?

Bah, I dunno i'd just rather a 206 GTI, the rear of the cc just looks like a boat. Mind you i'd rather a renaultsport Clio (think it's a 2.0) or a Civic type R.

or a real GTi by VW

Maybe the older GTi's, but the newer GTi's are heavy and aren't as quick as they used to be. The Civic R kicks it's arse, same with the clio. VW made a new Golf called the R32 with Awd and a turbocharged V6 that made about 250bhp, on topgear they compared it with a focus RS on the track and the Focus was faster.

If you wanted something that is built by WV (well Vag anyway) and is sporty, the Seat ibiza, is a good option.

I've never seen a Seat anything before. I'm just curious I've heard good things about them though.

I've test drove the current form golf GTi (either the 1.8, or 2.0 non turbo models, this was about 2 years ago) and it wasn't very exciting. Mind you I got to try out an Audi A3 1.8t which was much quicker (but I didn't get to try the GTi 1.8t though).

On the 206 though, i'd say get the GTi not the CC its probably cheaper and quicker.

That R32 Golf looks pretty damn good imo, another good car which is definetly value for money is a Seat Leon. A Cupra R goes like a rocket.

My Punto sucks I need something faster myself, I was thinking about a Seat Ibiza TDi.

Nah its not that bad actually, just I could accelerate faster walking.

Heh, just like my old Fiesta although that was a 1.1, bah it's better than catching the bus anyway.

As for the leon cupra, yeah very nice car.

Would you actually buy a car specifically because a bunch of people who liked a driving game told you to?

The 206 CC has a MASSIVE insurance group (group 14) - same as the Honda Integra Type-R if I'm not much mistaken. And no boot - the only places you can store luggage is where the passenger sits. Plus I hate the look of the 206 anyway.

My two choices are a 2001 Renaultsport Clio V6 230 (old version) or a 1995 Toyota Mk4 Supra Twin Turbo Aerotop. Now that's a MUCH more interesting pick :D

Supra is VERY fast, lots of room, nearly unbreakable and costs £485 to insure, but tough to find and 8 YEARS OLD!. Clio V6 is more chuckable, newer, easier to find but is French, has no room and is £700 to insure.

Choices, choices, choices :D

Oddly I had a 1.1i Fiesta. Then I stuffed it into a retaining wall 700 feet up a mountain - black ice, led to oversteer. Didn't feel it (no weight shift), and although I caught it, as it was coming back to line it scraped the wall... Span ALL the way round... bye bye back end... :D

Currently pilot a 1.3i Fiesta. 50mpg on motorways, dirt cheap to insure, bits keep falling off, but they're not expensive and doesn't half surprise a few modded Escorts/Novas/Orions and taxis off the lights :D

lol u mean they had the handbrake on !!! ;)

Probably... :D These kids (in Ashford they're known as "Chavvies") spend so much time and money modifying ****heaps and so little time remembering traffic light sequences that I've not lost yet... :D

Difference is I get up to 30mph and stay there (it's the limit there), they then blast past at 70mph upwards...

Fun can be had without being illegal or endangering kiddies...

is that first car on the list a Targa Top? It loioks as if it might detatch unless those are just "extra moldings"......DAMN THE FRENCH!!..I had to say it.
