So, what do you collect?

1:18 cars?
hotwheels?
swizzle sticks?
used mazda bumpers, grills and hoods? :p

I collect business cards. started as somethig to piss my mom off, and now when i see one, i grab it and toss in in a bin of them i have.
 
Uhhh, nothing, at the moment. I have about 200o comic books, all bagged and boxed and indexed. I also have about 750 vinyl LPs.

And four cars for two drivers. But I can't say I really collect those because I'm not actively looking for more of them. I do have a large (and growing) pile of spare Neon parts...
 
model cars. 1:43 scale to 1:18, i think i have owned close to 150!

bought one tonight (Makinen's Impreza WRC), i can't stop!

i had to depart of a few, thankfully my younger brother took possession of them. I'd say there are about 80-85 in the appartment right now...
 
PEZ, matchbooks, ... used to do Legos, now I just buy the cool ones.

Coffee cups.

I have original coffee cups from all over the world. I usually acquire them as gifts from my employees so I have started a collection now.
I have some from Mexico, Guatemala, Egypt, El Salvador, Chez Republic, Russia, and various different states in the US.

CDs (over 650), DVDs (over 80), mugs (about 40).

The mug thing started when we saw a couple of F1 team mugs at a merchandise stall at a grand prix. We thought they were quite cool, and then we decided to try and collect them all, which is difficult since not all the teams seem todo them. To date, we have Ferrari, Williams, Mercedes, Jordan, Jaguar, Minardi, Renault, Benetton and Arrows.

I'm currently drinking coffee out of the most recently acquired one: Boston Aquarium.

Actually ofcourse I collect all of the Mazda brochures and stuff I can get.

I also have a huge collection of 1:18 scale cars(mostly Maisto cause I like them and they are inexpensive)that I occasionally mod when I'm really really bored.
I also collect the ISP CDs that come in the mail....I have around 50 of them now...
Wheat pennies, foriegn money that made it to the US...
Those 50 state quarters.
Other coins.
Emblems, lots of them, from Yugo to Lancia B to Mercedes, BMW, Honda, Toyota, Supra(the older one), Grand Am, Mitsubishi, I have a lot of them, most are tacked to my door.
Hotwheels.
my family's old license plates.
Stuffed animals(I know it's wierd but back in the day hundreds of years ago I would...err...organize the animals on my bed...now they are smashed up on the side of my bed)
Then on the PC:
Mazda screensavers
Mazda music
a lot of Mazda videos(about 200MB, around 8 are actual Mazda commercials)


That's about it...I collect a ton of stuff really.
 
I'm starting a collection of model cars, mostly 1:18.

If I find any metal junk in the woods, I bring it to "the base" which is a hangout thing in the woods my brother and I made. We put a 4 1/2 foot deep trench in it awhile ago to use for paintball.

the 50 state quarters

model planes (handcraved form wood, very nice!!!) I have a B-2 bomber and the space shuttle right now.
 
I collected comics in my youth, but lost interest as they changed focus on several high profile characters (both DC and Marvel) to compete with independant publications (which mostly relied on Sex and Violence in extremes.)
Now I collect movies (DVD's) and I suppose Video games.
And like every single other person in the US, I am collecting the state quarters. ;)
 
yea but do you guys have the state quarter booklet thingys?

I have one for the Phily mint and one for the Dely mint quarters.
 
Hotwheels and legos. I have alot of hotwheels.. I even have a rack-type thing that i can hang on my wall, but its not full.. not even close. I have all th rest of my hotwheels (100+) in my box with my hotwheels city sets. I have about 25-30 different buildings and about about 50 feet of the roads... :lol:

So does my dad, he's got more than 400 i think, most have been in boxes for a good 7 years.

I have a 20mm ammo can full of the isp discs, maybe about 100 or so, along with a lot of bad burns.

I also collect the 50 staate coins, and other assorted coins, but paper money is the curreny that i like to collect.
 
I used to collect hotwheels but I dont really collect anything right now except broken boards which is plentiful now...I saw one of the dudes from Blink 182 on cribbs has a collection of keys from all the motels and hotels they have stayed at so far in their touring experiance...
 
We have 2 mugs here that say "Berg-Braw"(accent over the a) that's why we bought them cause our last name is Berg.

Also we have a collection of Mazda coffee mugs that my dad has won...

My mom collects cat stuff and has a collection of duck thingys too...
