I don't mean much by it really, your team never makes such mistakes, but it's good know you're all human. :p

I guess I'm getting an infraction now :(

 Maybe just a warning.... Just kidding of course. (maybe)

Play BF3 MP (colonel 100, 600 hours played), play other games on PC or finish them at night when i can´t play GT5 with my G27. I play tons of different games and still need to finish some + during the week i buy more...lol
Need to finish GT5 too and i am level 39/36 with 700 cars all golds (but still need to do both 24h races, i am lazy)

Or join a foreign lobby and try to learn the language :sly:

This ^ 👍

Generally though I'll paint up an unusual standard car (not rare, but hardly seen online) and join a CM/CH 'Road Car Track Day' at the Ring.

Otherwise engage in some online chopper battles in TBOGT, go hunting in Tall Trees, or get Tricky with my bad self. :D

I also frequent second-hand music shops to find unusual CDs to beef up my driving music playlist. Honestly, for me user BGM is an essential part of the game - and adding to it is a good filler in between DLC releases.

Switch to PC sims. I'm even thinking of selling my PS3 at the moment thanks to SimBin's wonderful RACE franchise.

I got bored of GT5 and haven't got back once :(

If GT5 had a livery editor, I'd probably use that a lot when I'm bored. Since it doesn't, sometimes I practice steering and shifting with my feet.

I don't play so often that I really get bored of it. Still haven't yet hit 40 in A or even 30 in B even after having the game for 8 months.

Sometimes I will thin my garage a little, selling cars that no longer interest me or cars that I have never driven and likely never will. Or I will paint some of the more interesting cars and put custom wheels on them, and make sure the power limiter is at 100% 'cause I forget to put it back sometimes. :) Or I will play another game, or go ride my bike or hang out with my friends or take a nap or just do something non PS3-related.

If you have a decent music playlist, might I also suggest Remote Racing. I get a huge amount of entertainment watching hot-headed Bob take on 15 of my friends' Bobs with a banging soundtrack in the background. Daytona & Fuji are great because the cars are all quite evenly matched in performance (with positions changing all the time & tight finishes) but Madrid is my absolute favourite because the camera angles are fantastic. Just make sure the grid is made up of closely matched Bobs - you don't want to be the rabbit car do you?!

The other circuits are cool too but its more of a shuffle race, which is better if you have a selection of Bobs with varying "skills".

Chugging on a beer, shouting at your Bob, and all the while helping your mates get closer to the B-spec related trophies is a good feeling. Try it! :dopey:

Play TDU2 or MLB 2K12. This is what I've been doing for the past two months.

What do I do when I get bored on GT5? Well:

1.

2. I have my Bobs pile miles into my cross country RV (Carbon X2010).

300,000 miles and counting.

3. Tune my real world race cars to real world specs. Mostly the power, but also transmission ratios and downforce (If applicable). Mazda 787B, Chaparral 2D, Toyota GT-One, ect.

I work on real life race cars in real life that do real life races on real life tracks to win real life money

Imagine, you just had 3 or 4 hours non stop racing, you collected lots of money and xp, maybe also received a few nice (mostly not that nice) car tickets, and you feel very satisfied for al your awesomeness...
You also go nuts with bob in b-sec and after many many hours of satisfactory racing you decide it is time for something else...
You stare at the GT Homescreen for a few minutes and wonder what the heck you're going to do next.

Is there a thing that you love to do that is NOT racing in a-spec of b-spec ?

For example I love to check the UCD for rare cars or cars that I just must have, cars that have no purpuse for a or b-spec, cars that just look good or have an emotional bond. Then I go the Tuning shop and buy full suspension, lower the car so that it looks good, see what color fits the best, take it to the track and create awesome pictures.

So what about you guys ??

Suggestions:

1- Course maker.

2- Driving backwards on tracks without a reverse layout.

3- Rally.

4- Karts.

5- Doing the A Spec French only race at le sarthe and smashing the hell out of the stupid hatchbacks with a Veyron.

6- Simulating 24h races with time change and weather.

7- Endurance races.

8- Course maker.

9- Test driving random cars at the ring.

10- Trying to beat Top Gear power laps and nordschliefe times (with the appropriate tires, usually comfort soft)

11-Racing with leagues.

12- Arcade mode can actually be quite fun, especially with heavy damage, and tire wear.

13- NASCAR

14- Going in opposite direction as the rest of the grid NASCAR

15- Playing netKar Pro instead

16- Playing Iracing

Last resort: making photo's in photo mode

there's lots to do, that's why GT5 is the best.

Wonderful?

If you want to play PC sims, play ones that are at least top of the line. Anything by simbin is just like GT5 with less cars and a couple more sim-like elements. Same with rfactor.

If you really want to have some fun, play netKar Pro or Iracing. No other PC sims can compare to those

Testing and Arcade mode, Photomode after I do that. Time trials are also kinda fun.
