What do you expect out of the new Supra's B58 engine in terms of tuning?

TBH i'm not sure what to expect from the B58. I'll just be happy if it can handle 600 to 650hp on stock internal and 1000hp+ with built internals. I've already accepted the fact that it won't be as great as the 2jz but if it can meet those requirements, I'll be happy. What about you guys?

The engine's been out for four-plus years now in BMWs, and people are making 650+ on stock internals. Why would you "accept the fact" that a brand new engine couldn't possibly be as good as one from the '90s? Take your blinders off and "accept the fact" that engine technology evolves, and that if one great engine can be designed others can follow.
