what do you guys think of splinter cell?

i think that there was a load of hipe over the release of splinter cell and i dont think that its not that good but what do you think?

Seems like a good game and good concept, but can probably be played out in a couple of months (or less, if you're an addictive type person) ... but then, you could always sell it .....

Or, better idea, mod your xbox, hire the game, and copy it to your H.D. Then you won't feel so bad about not playing it anymore once you've beaten it.

It's REALLY pretty, and seems to be quite entertaining. I need to get my XBox back and borrow the game from a friend of mine.

The graphics are really good, and it's exciting to play. The silence and darkness really sucks you deep into the game.

I'd say it's worth buying. I bought it and it took me about 2 weeks to finish it.

I have the PC version which is great. The graphics are built around the Unreal II engine. In other words, the graphics kick arse! The lighting is excellent and it is very realistic. I would buy it so that way if Ubi Soft creates more downloadable levels, you can download them and install them with ease.

I can't wait until Splinter Cell 2 comes out!

I've had Splinter Cell since launch and still havent beat it yet. Got stuck on a CIA level, and never went back. One of these days i'll get back to it, but it is on a very long list of backlogged games.

I'm just now getting to Parasite Eve, and i've had that for a few years.

I think it's pretty sweet.
Pissed me off when I couldn't figure out how to pick a lock at first.
I liked this game quite a bit.
Graphics are nice.

Looks so real graphics are really good but Im findin it well hard to play - Ive only gotten just past the water feature thingy on the first level
I keep on gettin seen then shot !!! Damn light !
But its a good game though even if I suck at playing it

Bah. The only part I can't beat is the very last part of the game where you have to capture Nikoladze.

Same here! In fact I haven't touched it for several months, until lastnight. And guess what? I still suck at the CIA level.

Great graphix..Great concepts..Great spyware....Stupid character, and stupid goggles..Bright green goggles that the enemy can't see...Lol..And there's alot of reaally FAKE stealth issue's..Like if you're in a shadow you could be staring a bad guy in the face..and he can't see you..Other than that the game like...Pisses you off cause you get stuck all over the place, but then you just can't put the controller down

Where are you stuck. I love the CIA level and it isn't too hard once you've worked out a strategy.

It's allright. I think the difficulty jumps around too much, doesn't really gradually increase. Pretty lighting though, but copies too much from MGS serires.

yeah it does copy from the MGS series...And that whole..Bright green light and the fact you can be 2 inches from an enemy...in Shadows not even dark just shadows..and they can't see you...OOOO realistic

Pretty much the whole level. I mean I've tried entering the building from both entrances, both ways just suck. I've gotten to the main center room from both ways, but I just can't get past the guards to get to the computer room, if that's even where I'm supposed to go...

I don't know, gotta just leave it be for now....it's summer and the weathers nice, think I'll play outside..

I saw the reviews, liked them and bought it.

I got stuck and havent played it in a while igot throught the kitchen, canteen and keep getting shot on the stairs.

Halo is more my cup of tea !

Splinter Cell was a good game and I truly enjoyed it, but I prefer other games over it.

splinter cell is very good game to rent, but since its short....i would never buy it. what am i supposed to do after i beat it twice?
