Well at first when i saw the intro i actually liked it even though it was the "Start your engines" trailer with a few new scenes and the song "Daiki Kasho All My Life" is an amazing song it went along wit the intro which makes me watch it all the time. Now on to the game the user interface could not be any better much easier to navigate, shorter loading times much improvement from GT5 it felt like everything was squeezed in one big folder and the loading times were horrendous, but GT6 has improved.

Thank god user car dealership is gone, premium and standard cars are no longer seperated, i love the new premium cars, some sound amazing i.e LFA, HSV, One-77 etc, they could have made more standard cars premium but we can only hope for a update, im really looking foward to the "vision gt" cars the mercedes looks amazing, cant wait for the other ones.

Goodwood Festival was alot of fun managed to get gold in all events, despite the last one with the x2011 after 20 attempts managed to get gold that car sounds amazing btw.

Lunar Exploration slow but fun i actually enjoyed some people think its pointless but sometimes good to add something new in the series and i actually enjoyed, lets hope for more special events in the future.

I love the new tracks especially Matterhorn that would be a sick drifting track, love the weather effects especially at night with the stars in the sky it looks amazing.

Carrer mode is a huge improvement only downfall is the lack of prizecars other than that its a great carrer mode, enjoyed coffe break and eco challenges so glad mission races came back reminds me of GT4, the championship i enjoyed the most was the karts especially the shifter championship that was quite challenging.

Physics are amazing, not so simple to put RH tyres on a sls and just win, it slides everywere so i changed some settings on the suspension and it did okay used that car to win the GT all stars championship, the AI is improved while they still slow down to let you pass which is annoying but when you reach IB races they actually challenge you which is good.

Out of 10 i would give this game a 9, its an improvement from GT5 things PD need to improve on is sounds for cars, the AI bring in more special events, more camera locations, old tracks from previous like Midfield Raceway, RedRock Valley, Complex String, Special Stage Route 11, the ORIGINAL Rome Circuit and the two best rally circuits in GT History Swiss Alps and smokey mountain.

Feel free to put your comments or if you agree with my points :)

Very soon you will painfully realise how liking anything in GT6 is less important then liking what is not in GT6.

Very soon you will painfully realise how things that are in GT6 are less important then things that are not.

And it will become another thread of circle of "promises", "wishes", "incompetence" and "right to criticise".

I hope I am wrong though, it started pretty well.

If there's something I like in GT, are the replays. Replays are so beautiful that sometimes I can't press 'start' after the races.

The menus are a lot quicker than GT5 (and more practical), the expanded wheel selection, the delicious physics, the new tracks (oh Ascari...) the added cars (specially the oldies).
Indeed, the new tracks are great, also, I'm glad to be able to drive karts in tracks with time and weather change. They have done a good job on physics as well, FR and some MR cars are really exciting to drive now.

The fast UI, the new tracks and the new physics. The new lighting, weather effects including the stars, VGT cars (both) and way online modes work. And: the things that were promised to come: communities, clubs, GPS app, new apex guide, track creator and the new 30km track.

Today I just started the game again after like 1-2months.

Thirst: "Well, let's buy the FGT.... oh damn 2mil. credits ? nah, not going to spend time farming that against the ridicoulous stupid Ai."

Second: "Oh yeah, let's do the new seasonals: *closed*, *closed*, *closed*, *closed* [...]"

Third: "Oh, theres the GT Academy now ! .... Oh wow a time trial on the short brands hatch track and that's it for now..."

Fourth: Aaaaand I shut off the old ps3 again.

Unless the Next Update/Senna content will be something more than 2 cars and a single track, Im not interessted in this demo...err I mean "game" anymore.

The way the Toyota Aqua (Aka Toyota Prius C) sounds with full exhaust, such a perfect little car

It doesn't make sense though that if you press start to pause and grab some snacks it quits the replay, why not make the automatic replay the same as the controllable.
True, also we can only zoom in during the replay right after a race in career mode.

The physics are good. They were really good until they "fixed" them. I guess we can look forward to more physics fixes (mindless tweaking) in future updates too.

Exciting stuff. :boggled:

I like just about everything excluding a couple of car sounds. I LOVE how they fixed the gearbox of the '66 Volkswagen 1200. I own a '73 in real life and the GT5 '66 was pathetic! The GT6 version is unbelievably good especially when using a G35 and for me that is heaven.

Oh, and I also like the fact that I know that it is a game - it is not real life. The slogan "the real driving simulator" has an emphasis on SIMULATOR in my mind. It is not real. It can never be real. It is a game and I love it warts and all!

The Cars are GORGEOUS... and even without dupes, its a pretty huge list in which pretty much anyone can find a car that suits their tastes.
The Physics are great IMO, the car communicates with the driver in ways I did not expect.
The Lighting is breathtaking in conjunction with day/night cycles.
The Replays (especially through day/night cycles) are GORGEOUS. it also makes for some PHENOMINAL photos.
UI is smooth and quick
The Standards that got attention are beautiful (think RUF,etc)
The Merc VGT is pure FUN
The lineup of courses is awesome
Matterhorn has sneaked its way up to MANY people's top 3 favorites original OR RW
The Wheel selection is robust enough to satisfy some people here (which is a win,)
Photomode locations/options are GREAT
As much as we like to complain about which cars we got, we have recieved a GT Vette, M4, FT-1, and Merc VGT,Hudson, etc. without paying a DIME.
Data Logger
The slow but sure progress in visual customization options (wheels, custom/removable wings, its all a step in the right direction)
the improved Paint system in which you only have to acquire the chip ONCE
Easily one of my FAVORITE soundtracks of the series

These are all Things I can see within the short session I just had Playing around with a couple of cars.I can literally go on all day. There are TONS of gems to like/love about this game. It's only going to get better as well. I'm excited about what they're going to give us next!

The general physics... Tire /suspension dust on the cars during rallying. Seems to build up faster than gt5 and the dust trail seems to be overall better

The intro movie and music, wow, when I set up GT6 for the first time I expected everything to be perfect. Even the sound of the Ferrari Enzo, until that was destroyed.
The physics are the best I've ever seen. When playing F1 2013, I really appreciate the realistic feel of Gran Turismo and the way in which a smile goes on your face when yo take a high performance car out for a spin for the first time.
Graphics. Immaculate- until you find out there are standard cars...
Great home page, easy to use.
Camera mode is superb. Taking a photo never felt so satisfying before. Especially when the miniature camera sometimes decides to make the car look extremely realistic.
The song 'All My Life'.

It might sound corny but I really liked the Goodwood parts.
Why?
It's more or less the same as any license test, you get a car and a target time, and it's the same track over and over, so really, why?
Well, I think it's because it's the only part that really gives any context. I liked having letters from Lord March. Having that piece of story really made these glorified license tests feel special and I wanted to come back.
When I had finished the last one I felt that I had finished the last fun piece of the game, the rest would just be grinding.

I also liked seeing that you could buy all cars as new. But at the same time I missed having the used car dealership. I don't see why they would have to be mutually exclusive as there are premium cars which could reasonably well be found second hand.

For me the intro was ruined by first seeing people miming about Senna, I thought there was something wrong with the game when no words came out of their mouths. Since a lot of material is obviously prepared I was further surprised not to see the Senna content present.
