I like the new "demo" mode. It has actual races where there are many lead changes. No more static car shots with PD's crappy music. It only plays your own music (if you choose). I find myself watching at start up, until they revert back to the GT-6 start screen. I think it's neat how the scenes are so close to the same time as my songs.

No more UCD.
No silly animation when doing car maintenance.
No level system to stop me from driving what I want.
Every upgrade can be removed after installing it.

A positive thread about GT6. What a rare find. 👍

I like the "friends neutrino model" for chasing times of your friends list and watching their lines. So what @nebulizer982 said.

And I like... uhm... and I like... cars... uhm...

Overall I am having so much more fun with GT6 than I did with GT5. Here are some of the things I like about GT6.
  • User interface is fantastic!
  • Standards can be brought to photo travel
  • Standards can be purchased at any time in the new car dealerships
  • No longer have to wait for a standard car to enter the rotation in the used car dealership like in GT5.
  • 2 cars can be taken to photo travel
  • 3d has been added to GT6
  • Improved physics
  • Many standard cars have had graphical improvements
  • Paint chips have been handled much better in GT6
  • Mount Panarama (Bathurst). I was not able to play this in GT5 because I didn't purchase the dlc
  • Car rewards are more enjoyable
  • Wheel selection and wheel purchase interface
  • Weather driving
  • Night driving
  • Rally driving
  • Rear spoiler customization
  • Online lobby system that allows you to test and tune your cars while waiting for the race to start
  • 1,200+ cars to pick from
  • Moving aero body parts
  • A great variety of tracks to pick from
  • GT Vision
  • Coffee break
  • Opening cinematic trailer
There are a lot more features but these are all I can remember right now.

Honestly? Nothing anymore. I'll try to remember GT for the great game it was, but for that I'll pretend 5 and 6 never existed.

Still hoping that GT7 will be the next best thing and that manages to win me back.

Leaving negatives aside, the things I liked about GT6 ( I say liked because I'll probably won't be playing it again) was the following:

-Menu
-Fast loading
-Graphics (something that GT always has and always will excel at)
-Replays
-Physics

... Unfortunately there is so much these things can do to keep the interest in the game.

New suspension physics, more wheels, no used car dealership, and no damn paint chips

Everything else sucks
