So my Gf was at my house and today we come out and there is some damage as you can see. I am uncertain what could have caused that....what does GTP think?

Im sure insurance will cover it since its not paid off yet but still whoever did it should own up to it....

It was on the road, right by the drive way. And even though I would hope that my dad or brother would say something I didnt see any damage on their cars so...:p

And yeah RenoRanes... I thought that too, I would almost say it was somebody on a bike or something?:confused:
 
It does look like it may have been someone on a bike who lost it and the bars + brake lever came down on the bumper.
 
I'm gonna go ahead and say your GF did it (if it is in fact her car).

It's very difficult to make an upward scratch like that to a parked car by hitting it with something, not to mention the plastic piece that broke off is nowhere to be seen, making me think it happened elsewhere.

EDIT: Oh, and the bumper is equally as dirty behind where there should be a plastic piece, as the car is itself, further supporting the idea that it happened elsewhere.

EDIT #2: It "could" have been caused by a bike or something like people said, but the way it wraps around the front of the bumper definitely suggests it originated there and was pushed around to the side of the bumper. Regardless, it's pretty clear it didn't happen in front of your house. The car has gotten dirty since the accident.

Those streaks are going from bottom to top. The crease between the bumper an quarter panel hasn't widened, which would indicate top-down motion. Hmm?

Something definitely caught the underside of the bumper and worked it's way upward to the quarter panel.

Edit: Unless the front tyre went into a ditch of some sort. Hmm?
 
AH huh, Well, And Ill be honest fellas, she said she may have done it but the only things that she has gone over are curbs apparently.

But even so, was it a cart maybe, or um... hm yeah, i dunno where else. I suppose we would find out if we see a plastic bit at wal mart or our workplace. :p
