I say the mitsubishi Lancer. Slow and expensive and for what? Speed that can be beaten easily by a old 20th century lotus espirit.

The nissan 350Z car looks like a pair of buttcheeks on wheels

The car dealership cycle can be really annoying when it shows up the ones you want but dont have cash for it. Then dissappears when you do

That is indeed the most disappointing. I can't understand the reason for it. If there will be a patch in the future, this must be solved.

Should probably write a petition to make a upgrade patch for this game. This seems to be happening too often

You don't always get 3 of the same car to race against. However considering there is no Power tuning outside of Hybriding when Driving certain cars there are very few other cars that can compete so there will obviously be less variety in the race, but that's understandable. You wont see a huge variety of cars racing Veyrons, there are just too few that can compete with it in the game.

Did you guys enable "single manufacturer" by chance? I never race against the same opponents unless i have that turned on

No i can tell.

If it was on, everyone would of been racing toyota gt one race cars.

I was against 3 ferrari f2007s

The NSX LM Roadcar on R2's gets 3 Veyron's against it :boggled:

That's the same way here. It's like on any car that you put racing tires on, you get more powerful cars. Which I find very annoying. I remember using...some hatchback, with less than 180HP (don't really remember the exact car...) and ending up racing against a Silvia, Skyline GT-S, and...another 200+HP sports coupe. >_< I'm sure they do that all because of the tires you choose...

That sounds perfectly reasonable. Better tyres will be worth more than 20BHP on plenty of tracks.

The driving model and the physics are what this games all about. Sure racing in the game is crap but drifting and time trialling on yer own against ghosts on this is more enjoyable for me than any other racing game on PSP or other consoles for that matter.

Hence, I am not willing to compromise to get better racing from the game if it means reducing the physics more towards the arcade side of things.

Would it have been so hard for polyphony to include skidmarks and little things like that into the mobile version? Even in gt4 lacks that and its the "best" driving sim ever with room for minor improvements...gt5 better have this since most other racing sims include this. Just a thought.

I'm struggling to know why you would want to use R3 tires on a car that Weighs more than 1100kg and has less than 200kw of power ?

Each to their own but R3 tires simply ruin the game for me. Slap on some N3 or S1 tires and have some fun.

I'm actually using that same car against 3 veyrons on nurburgring & I can win but it's tough. The only time besides if I have single manufacturer on that I get stuck with 3 of the same car is when I use the GTbyCitroen.

In my opinion, by far the most annoying thing about the whole game is the opponents they choose for certain cars. Sometimes it's leiterally impossible to win on S rank. I wish I could remember a good example bcuz there's many but one definetly is if you choose the Toyota Minolta 88CV, you'll be put up against 3 Ferrari F2007's which is retarded. The Ferrari F2007 is by far the fastest car in the game. It's not even fair to put the Polyphony Gran Turismo F1 car against the Ferrari. When I use the F2007 I destroythe Gran Turismo even though the Gran Turismo has an extra 200 hp. I wish I could choose my own opponents but oh well. It also depends on the track too if you didn't know

I haven't found a S-Rank race that was challenging, let alone being even close to impossible.

Arguably The PD Formula GT is faster then the F2007. Even in the game The F GT is what you face with the fastest cars in the game, & once tuned right, can normally shave 2 seconds off the lap times of a F2007. It might have something to do with the over 200hp more the F GT has. However the F2007 is more popular for obvious reasons. In the Game the F2007 is one of the Ugliest cars, its horribly done wheels are too much of an eye sore, especially when the F GT has such well done wheels & Many color combos.

As for Racing 3 F2007's in a Minolta Or the other weird match ups, Take off the R3 tires, & leave on what the car has default to insure you get the right match up.

I just wasted 5 million credits on the PD FGT last night. It's absolutely undriveable, and compared to the F2007, handles awfully, you have to go all the way up to 5th gear when cornering to prevent yourself from spining out. I checked it's aerodynamics and it has less than 1/2 of the downforce the F2007 produces. Hell, some LMP's produce more downforce than it. It will lose stability if you even dare to brake while turning and it has the steering response of a fat chick.

Wow...good thing i racked up 8,000,000 dollars on time for the F2007.

TESTED extensively with Hybrid cars, the Faster cars get lined up with PD F GT`s and Slightly slower cars will deal with the F2007.

Add it as a Fav and Up the DF, then she will be Faster then a F2007 ;) This Ride needs it, and the small adjustment goes along way.

The F2007 is easier to drive because of its High Downforce level, HOWEVER the PD F GT is Faster once you get the hang of her.

I find jay leno to be the most annoying.

Turn him off.

& That`s, that!

I just did some Ghost Racing, and the F2007 just can`t keep up with the PD F GT. They corner at pretty equal speeds (regardless if the F2007 is easier to handle) but on exit the PD F GT pulls away steadily, and gets faster laps every time.

Polydigital Formula GT = Fastest car in PT PSP

The most annoying thing to me in the game is all the seam-tearing and flickering. At least on Nurburgring the flickers/pixels are black instead of white as they are on all the other tracks, so you don't notice them quite as much. It's shame that such pretty car models are competing with the distraction of the frequent seam-tearing.

The second most annoying thing is the lack of a career mode.

on/off buttons making throttle/brakes aggravating for MR cars and high powered ones. That is less PD's issue than the PSP's though. Given the hardware limitations the old school "tap-tap-tap" throttle/brake technique works much better than it ever did in GT1 or GT2.

Perhaps not the most annoying thing, but...

When you go to the replay theater, you get booted right out after watching one replay once. You can't rewatch the same replay to change angles, etc. You need to go find it again. And not very much context is saved. (E.g. you're not scrolled to the "last viewed" replay when you re-enter the challenge section).

It's especially annoying when you're watching the very short challenge (stealth license test) replays.

I have downforce at it's maximum all the time and it still handles awfully. Yours is probably hybrided to perfection and gives no problems at all.

What track did you do lap comparisons on?
