What do you think is the worst looking car in GT4?

pfd is the name the designer of the Nike 2022 car uses on this forum. Someone emailed him a link to a thread on here about the car, and he signed up and gave some comments and pictures about the design of the car. Very cool :) I don't have the link, but search for pfd and look at his posts.
 
Spyker C8 Laviolette and the Peugeot C60 racer. I never had a soft spot for LMP's...

And how could I almost forget the SSR?

The Prowler and Crossfire are two beautiful cars..especially compared to some of the monstrosities on GT4.

No it is not a concept. The car in GT4 is the actually car. Although they really need it in the deep blue color (Mulholland Blue..I believe), black, and purple. How could they put the Prowler in and forget the original color option.
 
The ugliest car in the game, in my opinion, would have to be the Mitsubishi "i" concept. It's basically a weird shaped bubble on wheels.
 
Ugliest? I'm surprised at some of the choices... the Ginetta is a beauty, flowing and proper, just like a Toyota 2000GT. The RUFs, frogs? You ought to see Kermit, my MRS Spider. It comes in olive green and looks EXACTLY like a frog.

For sheer asthetics, I'd have to say the Lotus Europa. Mismatched lines, poor rear-end cohesion, windows that would look ugly on a Citroen 2CV... that's about it. I have tremendous respect for the car... it's just a strange mishmash of body panels and themes.

I'd say the SSR, too, but that's not ugly... just misguided. :lol:
 
The Ginetta's not ugly! It's just small and has too tall of a roof :) If it were a convertible I bet none of you would say it's ugly. The ugliest car in GT4 that I can think of is (as someone already said) the SCION xB!! Fugliest car sold since the Pacer, and the only car to show less originality than the new Ford Mustang or GT. Sad that some Americans are stupid enough to buy the xB. One of the few instances where I'm genuinely ashamed of my country :(

The new Mustang and GT were not meant for originality. They we meant for retro looks. A throwback to older ford models, the GT being the GT40 and the Mustang being the 64-68 model years. Beautiful pieces of machinery.

What makes the Ginetta ugly is not the roof, it´s the headlights! They make the car look nearsighted and somewhat crosseyed. Other than that, it´s a great car. I only wish it came in british racing green!

Cool. But it's still a poor designed car. Someone has to agree with me.
 
lol I'm surprised no one mentioned the UGLY Dome Zero. This car looks like it was built by martians.

Another fugly car is the Chapparal 2J car, well it is a good race car, but dam, it looks like a laundry machine on wheels.

The Jaguar XJR9 race car in my opinion, has the ugliest paint job in the game, and also those panels in the rear wheels adds to it ugliness, yea an ulgy car, but I'll give it props cuz it is a LM winner.

The Nissan R89c, another ugly prototype with those rear panels.

And about the Rufs looking like frogs? lol thats funny lol. Now I need to see a green Ruf. It REALLY does look like a frog on wheels, and shaped like one, but still a cool car

It's gotta be the Daihatsu Midget, my TV screen started crying when it appeared on my screen!

But, the fun side of this car is: take it arround Nur, but make sure you have a free evening, lot's a beer and don't feel emberassed when you have to take a hill in reverse because it's first gear doesn't really clear the job.....

really, Droptop_Chick, I might say the Levin is ugly, but probably not the Trueno (bear in mind I'm not obsessed with Initial D). I agree the SSR and the Accord are, well :crazy: and :yuck:, but if you are talking about the GSX/4, that thing is a beauty on wheels. Especially with a wing :sly: . the cars I hate are the RS200 Rally car(weird paint job), GT40(also weird paint), but the old RUFs are ugly. The new ones (996, 993) aren't as ugly.
 
The Marcos GT looks like some built a car out of cardboard and gaffa tape. Its pure ugliness
The Taurus though nearly makes me cry when I see it its that horrible. The designer of it needs to be taken to with a sack of brass doorknobs.
 
Mine would be the Toyota RSC thingy mabob! I mean seriously what the hell is that?
That car is to GT4 what Quasimodo is to Notre Damn (spelling?)
 
The Daihatsu Midget and Midget II, Citroen 2CV, and the Honda LIFE STEP Van. These are three uglisest cars in GT4 to me.
 
The Volvo Estate. But, I have to admit, though, Volvo must've saved a bundle in shipping costs with a car that doesn't really need to go in a shipping container. Just stack 'em directly on top of each other, they fit perfectly!

2CV...I wish you could do in game what Clarkson did to the 2CV in Heaven and Hell...drop a friggin skip full of crap on it
 
Possibly the worst of them are the two concept cars Hyundai have. One is the Clix, and the other is one I cannot recall, but has that sort of color-shifting paint to it. The Clix may be just a concept car, but it isn't a pretty one, that's for sure. Much worse that other concept car from Hyundai with the purple and green color. The other Hyundai concept doesn't look ugly for the paint, but for how the car actually looks.

It was a hard choice because I actually had to think about what car was actually the ugliest in GT4. Remember, we're talking about looks, not performance or what-have-you. Hyundai's two concepts are way on top the ugly list.
