Hey, the S10 and Sonoma, as well as the Jimmy and Blazer have been the worst crash test vehicles sold in North America since their inception. The S10 and Sonoma have a 1 star side impact rating and no more than a 2 star frontal impact crash test rating. I would not get in one of those boxes of death.
 
I don't buy cars or trucks based on saftey. Like I'm safe! I mean come on I street raced. Saftey is my last concern.

The S-10 is the worst pickup on the road today, followed by the Dakota. And all the Domestics aside the cars that I mentioned before are all crap! Kalikarter said that Domestics are crap as hell, I think that you are almost outnumbered.

You better look at facts here. I doubt that the S-10 is the worst tuck on the road. The worst truck on the road is the old Japanese ones that all the Mexicans put 12's on em and thinks they are lowriders. Those are the worst. The Dakota is one of the best trucks out there, maybe better then the S-10. The Ranger is not that far behind.

or v6 stangs with GT badges

Safety is not a major criteria for my car either. But when I hear that the S-10 is crappy, and then I find out it crumples like a pop can around its occupants in a crash and keeps them pinned inside while flames lick their face and limbs as they scream in terror and wait for help, it further strengthens my thoughts about its crappiness/quality etc. I am just trying to say, if you think that the S-10 is so good. Why would GM have made everything alse perfect and left the truck with no structural integrity whatsoever?
 
They do have structural supportive. If they were so un safe they wouldn't be allowed to be sold. They must be safe with in the government standards. You also do realize that if you got in a accident on a freeway with lets say a S2000 you'd also be in for some pain. They are also don't have much metal around your ass. I know they are two different vechiles but I'm just showing you that S-10's aren't the only unsafe vechiles out there. If the US Government says its safe by there standard then its safe enough for me to drive around in.

The most realiable car I can think of is a Ford. I mean they are bulletproof. I've seen Rangers run for 450k miles. You need to learn about cars!

Yeah, Texas uses window stickers for validation, unlike every state but New York and now Washington DC. :rolleyes:

Re insurance: When I became of driving age in 1991, I immediately began looking for more fun vehicles to drive than the 1990 Toyota Camry I would be stuck with - in my re-search, I found that insurance rates on the G60 Volkswagen Corrado I wanted which had just come out the year before would be double what they would be for the Camry. And the G60 had a four-cylinder!! In 1992, The Corrado SLC (VR6) came out, and insurance rates for it were double the G60's, and stretched beyond what I could dream of affording. I can't imagine what it would be, now, for a 17-year-old who's had at least one car accidents to insure a 5.0.

And sr780 - don't say you don't have insurance, because if you have license plates here in America and you're in your first six months of ownership, you have insurance.

Haven't had a computer for all that long, have you. ;) After 10+ years of internet forums, I no longer believe anything anyone says unless it can be looked up (and not just on the web). Braggarts are always liars, name-droppers do no more than read People Weekly, and blowhards are just looking for a fight they think they can win. Hardly anyone is quite who they make themselves out to be, and everything is taken with a few pounds of salt. And sr780? Probably 14, plays too many PSone games, and can't get his mom off his back about cleaning up his room. Probably. ;)

But who knows. And who cares. As long as no one gets bent out of shape, we can all remember that this is just a web forum. It's entertainment. It's as serious as the PS2 game this website was created for. Comments like "you're a terrorist" are uncalled for. This is a place for "well, that's just my opnion". So everyone just relax. At the very least, sr780 doesn't own two Honda's. None of the rest of it really matters, does it? Ok ok ok lets clear some things up here.

First off that post about being a terrorist I was joking. I mean come on now a days every one thinks everyone is a terrorist. I was merly joking. But I'll change it since you guys hated it. Sorry about that.

The white car isn't my car and never was my car. I have no idea why the hell I said it was. Maybe I was drunk or something, I don't know.

The Black car wasn't mine mine...but mine looked just like that in every way except the grill inserts were painted black and I had different rims on the car. I just found that picture and posted it cause it looked close to my car and i didn't have a digi to take a pic. And big deal I lied a little.

The reason I have had so many cars is because I bought my Civic when I 15 after my toyota died. Then I bought the Eclipse off my boss for 14,000 because he's a drug dealer I assume and has way to much fuking money. The I sold that to my friend and bought the Mustang for 50 bucks from one of my friends Fire departments.

Also I do think though if you live in America you should drive American cars. I know I've had my fair share of Japanese cars but I out grew that phase and realized that there are better cars out in the world. Hey thats the way I think and I can't change the way you think so I won't even try any more. So lets get back on topic and discuss hondas and what you think about them and start debating more maturely. I know I got carried away and I'll calm down and be more under standing.

Ya the insurence is kinda high on the Mustang and yes it is insured under basic but its still high. Thats why I'm looking at buying some thing else with the money I got from the Eclipse.

Also I am 17 if anyone cares. If you don't believe me fine I really could care less.
 
What does the insurance cost for the Mustang?
 
were did you get 1,500.50 from? I pay about 270 a month for insurence.
