I am planning to invest in TRD elegant kit and going wingless to complete my exterior. This is just the wingswest kit and the front lip will look a bit different but you guys get the idea. So what do you guys think? I know bodykits are pretty useless in terms of performance but im getting tired of my plain look. Give me some honest inputs, thanks.

here is how my car will look exactly with the full kit. this guy has almost the same set up as me with trd exhaust and springs.

I'd have to see it on a lighter colored car. I just hope it's not the really, really ugly one with the big foglights...

there are two available trd bodykits for the celica.

the one i want to get is the elegant aero kit which is rear, side skirt, and lip.

and there is the mechanical aero kit which is the rear, side, front bumper, and wing. (its too extreme for my taste)

here is a picture of it

it's commonly known as the action package in the states.

cool, I really like the wingless look on the Celica. I think a flush mounted spoiler would look pretty cool too, but I think your car will look cool like that.:D

That's the one i'm talking about. I can hardly believe it's a "factory" piece... :yuck:

It's not bad as body kits go, but I really really don't like body kits in general. The top one is decent... but I'd put the money in Go, not Show.

But it's your car and so it's not too important what I think. If you like it, go for it.

I'd say it adds just the right touch of Show. Just enough to differentiate it from the crowd, but not enough to make it obviously tasteless.

With out the wind is a much better look.

As for what next, take Neon_Duke's advice. If you put any more money into it, the benefits should be between the right pedal and the road.

so far.. trd springs, trd exhaust, trd short shifter on my car for performance.

this trd kit costs around 1000 dollars retail but im getting the side skirts and rear used for around 350, and lip imported from japan for around 250.

even tho it might get a riced up look, get a wing, it seems to be the ONLY thing missing, besides that its a clean nice kit...
just get an upper part for the trunk cuz its like wearing shades with out a lens for this car...

As long as you don't get the fake hood scoop extention, then yes, leave that wing on. It completes the look, and it's not over the top. 👍

BTW, are those DC5R rims on that RSX?

Yep. Kit = good. I particularly like the front splitter on the car you showed with the wing on it.

hey, it looks quite good, clean, and I even like how it looks with the wing. yes, there are bodykits that do good to a car. put it on dude.

Cano

mmmhh.. nice celica, btw ^-^

Its nice.. but plain.
If I was spending moeny on a kit I would go a little more drastic. Prolly the Blitz front, Vielside skirts and rear. Makes a killer looking combo. Problem with the Blitz front is you cant drop your car very far if you have it. A stock celica with a blitz front can have scraping issues allready.

I really like the side aero, but the front is a little wierd. It's a little pointy for my taste.
