Bit of both - often at the same time. Might be doing something on the PS2 as The Sims do their stuff on the PC (I love those games where you can go and do things while the game runs itself).

PS2... and, of course, I see the revered Macintosh has been left off of the list... Anyway, the only game I play on my Mac (if ever) is Myst... which is so freakin' hard... has anybody figured out how to play this thing?
