R35-Vspec
I listed what I want in two lists.

Most Important

1- Realistic Clutch: Like in Live for Speed.
2- Again ... better Engine/Exhaust sounds .. please PD! [Enzo, Murciel, 599, M3, etc]
3- Adjustable Cockpit View: Dedicated for steering wheel users.
4- Increase XP gained from A-Spec/B-Spec races by x4 or something.

Least Important

5- Stage 4 turbos or +2000hp cars
6- Standard Cars to Premium DLC
7- Anything else related to Photo Mode / Replay / Online

And if I wanted to choose one of the above .. I'd choose number two.

i agree...better sound and wind/Wheel sound too. that and Spa!

Leaderboards! How do you have a racing game without Leaderboards? I don't get it.

Real rally events. Narrow courses, several day, multi-stage rallies.
preferable without having to wait in line for my turn to go every single stage...

They might have gotten some trademark rallycars in the game, but they sure as hell havent added anything remotely similar to WRC.
I believe the same thing goes for Nascar.

So for 1.07, id love to see two standalone series, one for WRC and one for Nascar where they implant these particular styles of motorsports into the game in a proper way.

This woul, however, demand that they add a few more ovals to the game, aswell as fix the point-to-point tracks to be more realistic.

Remove triangle for reverse! Last I checked my dash does NOT have a triangle button I have to hold to reverse IRL. One click of the left paddle when stationary in 1st gear to click it into reverse will suffice!

I just read the 1.06 release notes and noticed it doesn't look like the TCS/DFGT bug has been fixed.

Can anyone confirm if this has been fixed or not?
(I'm purposely not going onto any online races for fear that someone will restrict TCS in a race)

If not this should be in the 1.07 patch.

Endurance race save, AN ABSOLUTE MUST!!!!! Championship save, back to where you were when you restart the game. You have to finish or retire to do anything else. JUST LIKE IN GT4!!!!💡

These are things that have a realistic possibility of occurring:

- Mid-race save during Endurance race. Does this even need explaining, it's among the most requested features for the game.

- Matchmaking. Some people just want to race, not wait for hours just for the host to go, myself included. I'd prefer if they did both this and lobbies.

- More customization to course design. I'm not even asking to change scenery, just the ability to place in lines in your course wherever you desire.

- Unlimited amount of credits: They can make the car as expensive as they can, but at least let us build up as much credit as we desire.

- Less lags and disconnection online: This happens to me all the time and I really get sick of it.

I am pretty happy with the last update. But
1. More races.
2. Better customization options (livery editor, more wheels, body mods, allow wheel changes on standard cars, this annoys me tremendously)
3. Fix the audio (some cars sound nothing lke the real thing)
4.Update some standards to premium already. (Supra, AE86, Integra Type R, EG Civic, CRX etc)
I could go on...

Here's my list:

- Add more A-Spec and B-Spec events
- Qualifying
- Add back tracks from older GT games (Seattle, Midfield, Complex String, etc.)
- Remove the stupid 20 million credit limit
- Fix the smoke effects
- Convert some standard cars to premium
- Ablity to change rims on standard cars
- Saving during championship races
- Better prize cars
- Adding Fast Forward and Rewind in Replays
- Increase the prize money in A-Spec and B-Spec races

don't worry, its been fixed, tried it with my DFGT and everything works as it should in all modes. 👍

Would be nice to have a B-Spec option in Practice for Bob to do laps without competition, so we could easily compare the performance of different cars and tuning setups on all tracks without the 'human factor' of inconsistency.

Every single GT4 classic Gran Turismo track.
I don't expect that in a near update, or the GT4 track list, though it needs to happen but I am hoping for this soon:

  • More Race Mod cars
  • Paint in the Paint Shop, what a thought :sly:
  • Pit saves for Endurance races
  • Open up all Photo Mode locations, and open them to Standard cars
  • MORE A-SPEC EVENTS!
  • Restore the prize money to what they were for the Christmas update, or give us the ability to win prize cars each race
  • Refined online physics
  • Leaderboards, and for SONY to use some of those GT5 profits to beef up the PSN server system so GT5 online can grow

I wold like to have individual penalties for certain tuning parts, similar to FM3:

Change the stock exhaust to a titanium racing pipe -> loose some weight on the rear end, having a different balance.
Change the front hood to a CF hood -> change of balance.
Loose weight by retiring spare wheel, rear seats, etc -> change of balance.
Add big turbos + intercoler -> weight change - change of balance
Add structural reinforcements -> higher total weight

I haven't really thought about the balance, although it does make sense. But I definitely agree that one of the things that i thought was a glaring omission was that none of the modifications (other that Chassis mods) made any changes to the weight. Certain things like titanium exhaust, lighter flywheel, performance aftermarket wheels should result in REDUCED weight while addons like turbo/superchargers should ADD weight.

I also don't like how you have to click on each individual mod to see what effect it has on the vehicle in terms of weight loss or power gain. These change indicators should appear on the screen as soon as you hover the pointer over it.

The game should give the option to have different size and width wheels. And motor swaps and drivetrain conversions would be cool as well, but not a must.

I also agree with the original topic poster about the rewind/fastforward ability for replays. I also think there should be fastforward ability for B-spec races as well.

And if im not mistakened, the "hood view" on these cars are too high up. It seems like the camera is mounted on the roof rather than on the hood. Would like to see a true hood view, which would be the next best thing to a cockpit view when playing with Standard cars.

Also, a couple more issues with the camera (correct me if im wrong)
- The game lets you look left/right in cockpit view, but doesn't let you tilt up or down to see more of the cockpit. The head tracking feature lets the camera pan up/down a little bit, but not tilt the camera up/down.
- In third person view, the game lets you look backwards with a good view of the front of your car, but not left/right. Like most driving games nowadays, you should be able to use your analog stick to rotate the camera a full 360 degrees around your car.

And finally, i think all the cars in your garage should be available for play in split screen multiplayer (and for any other play modes where you can't pick from your garage). You shouldn't have to Favorite all your cars in order to accomplish this.

👍

What's odd is that some cars in the game do have a proper hood view, but the majority have the dreadful roof view. Why is there a clear lack of consistency throughout this game?

The ability to put aftermarket wheels on a standard car.

You find a nice car that you like in the UCD , then you can paint it to a color of your liking , only to be left with stupid 🤬 looking wheels !

Please fix this feature PD.I'm not asking for the cars to be made premium to do this, just a simple patch to be able to install better looking wheels.

On the subject of aftermarket wheels - how about increasing the wheel shop choices - kind of like what GT4 had - variety , variety , variety ..........

I just want the very basic:

- Full support to G27/25 (mapping the buttons the way I want)
- Head-Tracking with Playstation Eye works on GT Life

Why they told us to build the best cockpit, with the best wheel, camera, and TV, and now the Real Simulator doesn't use it?

I really would like some online League management with tools to set up rules and qualifying and tracking like the games for the NBA/NHL/NFL have. Set up a league that would have N-number of races, set the tracks and dates, etc. Rules for qualifying/pole set running or grid start and that sort of thing. Would then assign specified points for placing and let you know at the end, who won. Setting up teams of N (2-4?) drivers and you could see the stats and specs at any point for the league. As well as the usual PP/weight/power/drivetrain limits.

Then Clan/Team/Guild management, as well. It would allow for Team vs Team racing on the fly, as well as setting up leaders and communication.

Then I'd want the game to be able to manage headset/mic communication to restrict to team members as well as general broadcast.

Totally agreed:-)

There really needs to be a major feature update. I do want a good reason to delay the purchase of the "next" racing game... As this will also sent me and my friends back to the 360... And continue enjoying the differences of other games until the "definitive" racer appears... A wait that been over a decade now.

The last update was great but really should be stuff in the final release. It's all refinement. Along with missing features like remote play that was a back of the box feature.

We (actually GT needs) more of a 1.5 release to keep things fresh... Had I not completed most of a-spec already I might appreciate 1.06 more... And online is still a simple lobby system with no real structure or leaderboards...

So more on topic, I think 2x a and b spec, useing more of the tracks, more RMs at least, integration of the PP system in A spec, perhaps opening the a and b spec to drop on drop out mp... More focus on rally, a single player structure overhaul to be more progressive and enjoy incrementally upgrading cars...

Frankly even all that might not be enough for many, not to mention it could be considered a whole new game and pretty much a punch in the face to those with no online.

Also not to mention, where is the gt community going to be by the next update? Outside of the league people are in but even my league is going back to Xbox...

In no particular order...

Better AI. AI that upgrades as you upgrade. AI that looks at your lap times in A-Spec and produces similar results.

Leaderboards.

Fastest lap for each car shown at end of race.

More levels in Shuffle Race. Higher power cars on better tires. Link to A-Spec level for entry (so noobs have to race lower levels).

PP points system for Shuffle Races so cars are more equal.

Purchase upgrades, and oil change from pits before a race.

400 more A-Spec races. With rewards cars and standard cr. and XP
(why grind when you can WIN them?)

Better collision detection and penalties. Someone hits YOU from behind, you don't get a penalty for hitting the car in front or cutting a chicane.

Cars restricted to one or two 'racing moves' on a straight. Penalty if you weave around.

More accurate drafting (maybe a strength slider as a replacement for 'Boost', which sucks!)

Obstacles (white boxes from chicanes, etc.) removed from track after pack goes by.

Standing start TGTT lap times.

I want this car and I want this sound from the engine and tyres when using the cockpit view.

;)

1. Stock leaderboards for every car
2. Unrestricted leaderboards for every car
3. Career leaderboards for ASpec
4. Friends leaderboards
5. Local leaderboards
6. Car Club leaderboards
7. Rollup leaderboards

- I'd like to see some more customization to the cars as in bumbers, rims, rm's and maybe even a very simple livery editor.

- Full support for the G27 steering wheel aswell as fixing that stupid issue where I can't change gears rapidly without the car going into neutral when using the clutch.

-More enviroments added to the course maker , For example a true togue through the mountains of Japan.

-Day / night cycle for every track.

-The damage is way to light , They should actually make it so that the car takes more visual damage at impact.

Probably alot of things I forgot to mention but these are the main issues for me at the moment.
