Lol...First of all if it ran 9's it would be raced out..Meaning it would have minimal weight....So they wouldn't have ALOT of fuel to spare...If you consider any car with a 4g63 to go in that catagory then yeah, otherwise...How many companies even make Evo's into 1/4 cars?..They're 4 door...Not many companies mess with 4 door imports asside from places like EasyStreet..

Second why would you want to turn a TRACK car into a 1/4 mile car anyway?...That's retarded....But when it comes down to it...You put a stock evo up against a stock SS..And the Evo will win every type/style race there is...1/4 400M Auto-Crossing Rally Drifting Solo I(aswell as all the other SCCA class racing)
 
Night...You're right...I could...Hold on......You know why I do that?...Because the majority of the people who see that..would just read half of it and assume the rest...And no i'm not going to give the GTP people the benefit of the doubt on that....Anyone for some reason would rather read 1 paragraph..then refresh and read a diff one..than sit there and read 2

well i beg to differ. i read the first sentence of at least every paragraph to make sure im not missing anything important. there wasn't any need to edit those particular posts just don't get so excited in the future! :D heh
the way u can avoid people skipping ur posts is to make sure u always cut them down to be as interesting as possible then people will usually read what u say to the end.
 
You guys are trying to compare a car made for the strip to a car made for the track. Its like your trying to compare the Space Shuttle (the flying brick) to an Aerobatics Stunt Plane (the paper airplane with a jet engine) in who can do the better airial tricks...
 
its been so long that i can't remember what this thread was really about, or what i posted in it, but i was just thinking that a distinction needs to be made between lame w*nkers who think they can drive and drive riced-out FF gheyness as well as just lame cars, and people who know everything about cars but put spoilers, wheels and wings on their cars.

cause both kinds of people use cars that can be considered 'rice' yet i hold (and am entitled to hold) utter contempt for the former yet something between indifference and respect for the latter.

I hate to bring this back up, but from the jumping around through this thread, I have come up with this. Both HRT and Nightmare were right in quoting Shinez, and by what that picture says, Shinez was right in quotting the 360 Horsepower number that you dissagreed to.

haha damn chevy kids. i have nothing against dom's but still dont be bad mouthing imports. and lets not be calling people posers now. just because he likes civics, like many people do due to there potential in racing and in driveablility, and he is right with the whole weight to power thing, and with the moding thing. youll never see a car just like yours. haha show love for your imports.

And buddy boy there was bashin on that kid for liking civics, so dont come on me with that stuff. and another thing, whats the big deal if someone likes to make their car look good and not go fast. i see a lot of people that do it, import or domestic. i could care less my self. haha and the whole poser thing is just stupid. they arnt posing as anything. they are simply car lovers. haha kill the hate ok.

You didnt read it did you. This is like the 50th time I have said this. If they just want to look nice, Its alright, but it pisses me off when someone tries to look fast and then tries to intimidate actually fast cars...
 
haha. I am one to admit when i am wrong. i clearly misunderstood the meaning of your post then. my bad. lol oh and just for the record i am not a ricer. actually everything i have done to my car is for speed not for looks. just thought i would add that in.
