What does the APEX book contain?

I didn't buy the CE edition, and couldn't get a straight answer from chat (bunch of kids in there) so anyone mind letting me know whats so special about it? Whats in it? Tune for all premium cars? Manual?

Mainly tuning advice, in depth diagrams and explanations of the different things you can do to alter the cars performance, as well as info on all the cars, tracks , and general racing info. It's a good book, and if you see it on ebay, I recommend it.

It isn't that specific as to offer a specific car setup. It simply explains what effects come from altering spring rate, toe, camber, etc.

It's a petrolhead bible IMHO. It has plenty of tips and explanations regarding tunning, driving style, and photomode. At the end of the book there's a complete list of the cars in game. There are sections about new automotive technologies, some others about how a car works (quite in depth), and others about automotive history.

I'm quite pleased with it and my CE 👍.

I got it when I bought my CE. It is very useful for tuning advice (which helps as you progress through the game) and has many in game cars listed etc...👍

I have to admit it made me a better driver. Also understanding the physics better that occur during driving and learn how important the change of balance change/ load change.
The in depth info about how a car drives, the way how the tires work, all things that I never thought about.
Pritty clever.
