Isnt Annebell a girls name Jordan??? We dont know what car he/she is talking bout all of his/her threads are to general in the question he/she is asking. Or we have no idea what they are talking bout.

You people and your sarcasm.
The blue car does the same thing that almost every other car does. It applies torque from an internal combustion engine to the wheels to move. The front wheels turn to steer, and the brake decellerate.

Blue is a cooler colour than red, hence the engine is kept cooler, thus decreasing the possibility of overheating.

Speed is not affected, but endurance is.

:D

Are we talking about "THE" blue car, well "THE" blue car can't touch one of those gourgeous flip paint jobs on the TVR's, they must be the most visually appealing paint jobs in the game! Just go the the car dealer and check em out!!

I beg to differ. Blue is darker than red (usually anyway). Darker colors absorb more heat from light, where has lighter colors reflect light. The blue paint would absorb heat, and of course then the air around would in turn be heated as well. When something is heated it expands. Hot, expanded air is less dense than colder air so therefore you have a nice little shell of thinner air to move through! Thus increasing speed!

Will Annebell ever tell us what she was talking about?

I'm sure that the red car will go quicker.

Anybody heard of Redshift????

Basic principle is based around the colour of the spectrum. The faster something moves away from you the redder it looks. Its how they determine distances in space and the outer galaxys in the universe.

And seeing as I WOULD be going away from you I'm gonna be glowing cherry red!!!!!!!!!!

:p

By the way, what were we talking about again...

hehehehehe

Rice is right, there is no blue car in the game. You should search the forums for "bLUe cAr in Gt3" or something, since everyone here knows this already! :)

Blue is faster because it is prettier. And it is prettier because I said so.:nervous: . AND IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO ARGUE WITH ME I WILL SHOVE MY pretty blue car STRAIGHT UP THEIR ASS.

i dont think Annebell_0418 is ever comming back here lol well thats bad

:( but i hope she/he does.... ne ways i can take a good guess at what car Annebell_0418 is talking about. Its the car that has the 4 wheels!!  :D :D :D hehe

Thats the doppler effect on light. Most people know the doppler effect in relation to sound as in a train whistle's sound decreases in pitch as it passes by you.

Strangly, however, from no matter what point in the universe you are at, all incoming light is red shifted from your current position. This is odd because that would make it seem as if every point in the universe were the center, with all other points expanding away. All this crazyness is part of the reason scientists believe our 3 dimensional universe is wrapped around in the 4th dimesion, and all space is expanding. Consequently, if you were to start traveling in a 'straight' line in ANY direction in our universe you'd eventually circle around and come back up behind where you started. WHEEEE I want to be the first person to circle the universe!

Additionally, this is why scientists beleive that with enough gravity you could create a singularity (a.k.a. black hole, or wormhole) that would bend 2 distant points in space (bent into the 4th dimesion) until they touched, then hole would be there that you could pass thru and you would have traveled massive amounts of distance in very little time. All scientists need is a breakthrough in energy and they already beleive this is possible :)

Can't the all-around red-shift be explained if you realize that from any point in the universe, you are moving away from the 'center' of the universe, but points farther out are also moving out from the center at a greater speed, and therefore are moving away from you, causing a red-shift? Damn, that was a long sentence! :) And sorry, but I will be the first person to circle the universe. Sorry for the off-topic stuff, but this really wasn't much of a thread to begin with!!

thats not true. and yes i am a girl, all i wanted to know is why is it that the blue car has, cuz when i play the game, i get passed everytime by a blue car. it frustraets me!!!!! so. well i am impressed that so many replyed! thank you all

and on top of that, i can only upgrade so much, why is it that you cant do the port polish on every car, and why is it you cant do the engine displacment on every car??????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Ooooooh....U don't want to be giving the blue car a port polish.

Thats toooo scarey for me!

Erm, I think I remember hearing something about the farther way things are the further red-shifted they are. This would mean that the universe is accelerating in its expansion. This would contradict the idea that things were made by a big bang and would be followed by a big crunch. There are only 3 possible solutions... the universe colapsing upon itself, reaching equilibrium and staying that way forever (which is highly unlikely), or it continually keeps expanding.

I can't even begin to understand all the crap and I can't devote my life to researching and comprehension of ALL astrophyics. But its facinating nevertheless.

The blue car lives in self pity and has just drove itself of a cliff. *snifff* :(

 hmmm red vs blue... insurance says red is faster cause cops always stop red cars, but maybe a blue car could be considered a sleeper... then in fact blue would be faster then red. Personally, blue is the way to go... its the fastest...

Did i get off the subject? What am i talking about :reallyodd

A girl at GTPlanet!  Annebell, during replays you can press the up or down keys on the keypad to switch between different cars in the race. And, (if you set this in the "Replay Options"), the name of the car will be displayed in the bottom right-hand corner.

Hope that helps! I can create more detailed instructions if you need. :)
