Read the title! Now lets see those clean vehicles!

I missed a few spots but I can easily clean it since it won't rain for at least 7 days here. :D

Gotta love the minivan followed by a pair of Bahn-burners. The contrast is blinding!

Like this (Will photograph the front end properly tomorrow after a few more bits of detailing)

Currently wearing a layer of Finish Kare 1000P Hi Temp Sealant, followed by Dodo Juice Light Fantastic wax, followed by a layer of Zaino Z8 Grand Finale. Planning on doing the engine bay this week and taking the wheels off to clean behind the spokes before this weekend's Fiat 500 meet.

Seriously, I was expecting the usual suspects of saloons and such but it is funny that my van is followed by 2 Germans. :D

Fun having a clean car and seeing people's head's turn. Although that could just be because of the vehicle itself haha.:sly:

Not huge on having the car washed all the time since Michigan weather is so unpredictable and every time I do wash it, it either rains or snows...lame. Any who here's the Cooper all cleaned up, I'm not a big fan of tire shine so I don't use it.

Being that I shaved off the "nissan" paint since that incident, I can't really be proud of two shades of red and one shade of black. My older bro bought a primer kit but isn't using it.

Is that what it looks like clean? :D
That's clean as she gets, though I need a closer pic. Gonna try & do a full detail on her this week. My buddy's also lending the engine detail equipment he uses on his M3. :D

How's this though? :)

What on earth are you two talking about?

Beerz was calling the Germans stalking bastards
Exactly as RJ said, I was referring to the post directly above mine.

After work, I'll see if I have a pic of my car after washing, that I haven't posted yet.
If I don't, I'll pressure wash it in a hurry (1 euro = 2 minutes 40 seconds of water spending), then take some pics.

Ok, found one on my HDD.

Did some (obvious) work on PS, I do it on all my pics.

If the wheels appear darker than they should, it's because they're really dirty.
Last few times I've washed my car, I've deriberately left the wheels dirty. I'm trying to see how they look flat black/whatever it turns out, and then I wipe the outer lip to see how it would work.
Can't get it right using photoshop... :dunce:

Here's all I could manage, it being dark out and all.

Spent a few hours today hand-washing and waxing the Miata, after taking it to a drive-in DIY carwash to do just the engine-bay degrease and wash.

Lots of hard work, but she looks good now. :D

In the shade by our home, front & rear views.

Took it for a topdown spin to try and find some sun to snap a picture.

Engine bay and bonnet-lid after cleaning. Not perfect, but not bad for a 15 year-old!

Got to do likewise with the 911 tomorrow.

^^ Looking great, mate. 👍
Is that the original top?

Washed mine today after work, took a pic just a while ago from my room window:

Looks great for a 10 year old, I absolutely love this car. :)

Well a few before and after shots then I just put the rest in the Imports thread.

I had to get a TONNE of brake dust residue from behind the spokes...

Finally I dont think thats ever been touched since today.

Looking good guys. :D

I washed the van and it looks good! But as of 20 minutes ago it started raining. :( From clean to dirty in a day. Figures.

Thanks, and no, it's not the original top, it's a complete new one that we had fitted about 3 years ago. It's got the glass window panel so we don't have to deal with the cracking and discolouration that happened with the plastic panel on the original roof. A true Miata-phile will also tell you it's the wrong colour too! Truth is for some reason Mazda mismatched the colours on the NA Miata leather interiors, and tonneau cover (a colour they call Buckskin) with the roof colour (which they call Tan.)
When we took it for replacement, the guy asked us if we still wanted to keep the mismatched roof colour and replace it with another Tan one, or match the roof to the seats and make it Buckskin (something Mazda can't supply for strange and bizarre reasons known only to them, but it's the same story for all factory supplied NA Miatas! :dopey:), so we went with the latter option and the car looks much better for it! :D

Your BMW looks lovely too. 👍👍

Never did get round to washing the 911 as it went in to have the interior restoration done, but it's on the agenda for the long-weekend so I'll try to get some pics up of that too.

Did full inside and out cleaning of the 911 today, again took it to carwash to do just the engine bay degrease, followed by a hand wash / wax at home. 👍

Had the front seats and door pockets reupholstered last week, so it's looking really nice now. :D

Good god that is such a good looking 911. What year? 84? I'd love to own an older vintage 911. :D
