What Does Your Refrigerator/Cupboard Look Like? (inside)

Its just that easy. I want to see what you've got in there. Why? I dunno. I thought it might be kinda fun to see what everyone is eating...

LETS GO!

So this is some of the overstock from my cupboard. We really like crackers and popcorn at my house, so there is always a lot of it around. The cookies were won by my Mom at some community activity thing, and they look pretty good... Although I haven't cracked into them yet. Those Meijer Fuit & Grain bars in the back are awesome. I like them a lot better than the NutriGrain bars from Kellogs...

That would be the "main storage area" of the cupboard. The Velveeta is one of my favorite treats, and I'm planning on making a big pot of it tomorrow. The Manwich rocks too, and that is just waiting to be cracked-open. You can't see my Tuna collection, but as we have seen before, I love tunafish sandwiches as well.

The refrigerator. A window to a man's stomach. Lets see what I've got there... The pan on the top shelf has some leftover Lemon Riso I made a few days ago (good stuff), and there is obviously some leftover pizza in there as well. Normally there would be more soda in there, but I haven't restocked the fridge in a while. Milk? Check. Salsa? Check. Cheese? Three-kinds, check. Oh, and you've gotta love the Ocean-Spray. Keeps the pipes clean!

The freezer is kinda pitiful this time of year. Girl Scout cookies, fudge pops, bread, a big bag of Chicken... Yeah. But hey, I've got Tater-Tots! I LOVES ME SOME TATER-TOTS!!!

....So, how about yours?

You really got stop making so many pointless threads like this man. I mean does anybody really care what other people's fridge looks like?

BTW, how do you find anything in your cupboard? Its packed full a stuff man.

Probably not. Some people (like myself) may find it interesting. Its more of an exercise of just getting to know each other better. The neighborhood one is still going strong, and the bedroom one still has plenty of fight left in it.

...Pointless? I guess so. But it certainly could be argued that the majority of stuff we say on here is pointless to begin with. All I'm doing is offering a means for people to share some stuff, and see how other people live. I would assume that a fridge in Michigan would be very different from that of someone in some other state, heck, some other country...

Its just an exercise of seeing how other people do stuff. If you don't like it, you're more than welcome to file a report against the threads, or heck, not even post in them at all...

Let's see. We generally don't have much quick/junk food, but we are getting more and more.

img6677sp2.jpg

Our universal storage area. Usually a few goodies down here. Chips, Hansen's Smoothies, wine, beer, cans, other stuff. Can't forget the Annie's mac&cheese. Decent, but not as good as Kraft.

img6678nh7.jpg

Miscellaneous foods. Protien powder for my Veggie sister, oatmeal, random stuff. Pretty packed. I haven't seen the back of that cupboard in a very long time.

img6679it2.jpg

AAAHHHH! The good stuff. Lucky Charms knockoffs. (3 bags:crazy:) Cereal and ingredients. Flour and sugar are in those two red things. Oils, unsweet chocolate:yuck:, powdery foods.

img6680ef1.jpg

The fridge:dopey:. Milk, OJ (lots and no pulp), condiments, meats, cheeses, vegetables, fruits, protein shake for the family veggie:yuck:.

img6681ug6.jpg

Freezer:nervous:. Lots of ice cream:). coffee grounds, foods for future use. In the back we have anything left over from a year or more ago. I see some veggie corn dogs down there too.

img6682cr7.jpg

Ah, yes. The bread drawer. Wheat and white bread, in all shapes and sizes. Crakers, beef jerkey, maybe something else.

So yeah, nothing really special. Nothing too unhealthy (mom is a health nut), the soda is stationed elsewhere. Finding snacks can be kind of a pain; I ususally go with cereal.

Are those Thin Mints I see, YSSMAN? I believe so. That further solidifies my theory that they are the greatest cookies ever mass-produced.

Honestly, I think I've only ever met like 2 people who didn't like Thin Mints.

@ philly: I haven't seen a kitchen stocked that well in a very long time... That probably would have been in High School when I used to hang out at some of my friends' house... Three teenage boys, all of their friends, plus Mom and Dad digging around looking for something good, all while hosting weekly weekend parties for various nonsensical occasions, etc.

God I miss High School sometimes...

What's next...How does it look inside your pants?

Anyway, I still have to catch up on the "What does your bedroom look like?" thread, don't go too fast

I'm always amazed at how some people keep their fridges and freezers so barren.

^ I don't mean to, but more often than not I cook with a lot of "fresh" food. I dunno, but I think it usually tastes better. But when you can get BOGO 12 lb bags of chicken for $10 at Meijer, you've gotta get them... No matter how much better fresh Chicken is...

Word, but our fridge is mainly filled with leftovers and stuff too. philly's fridge is what I'm more accustomed to.

And sometimes I can never find anything to eat. I have to stop being so lazy.:indiff:

There is a lot of cooking from scratch around here, and five people to feed. I never really know where the food goes. Besides, all of the not as good stuff kinda hangs around for awhile.:ill:

We need a "What is your GTplanet username?" thread soon... Really, who cares what your eating? What color shirt are you wearing?... Do you like post-it notes?... How many spokes are there on the wheels of your car?... I just can't figure out why anyone needs to know...

I've started to cook more lately, so I've been investing in some more "exotic" foods and such. If it wasn't for Giada and Alton on the Food Network, I doubt I would know how to cook anything worth a damn...

I've always wondered the same thing but never said anything and just tried to over look it.

aaahhh. The Food Network.

I'm suprised at how few exotic foods we really have in our house, considering we have spanish-speaking mexican markets and asian food shops run by vietnamese, where they sell genuine non-american products all right near our house. I should start hitting those stores; must be interesting stuff there.
