i dont really understand it cna someone explain it to me.

It's for B-spec Endurance Races. you can set it so that when your first drivers health reaches say 10%, he pits and the next driver takes over. It automatically pits for every one of your drivers if the function is activated.

Slashzor is correct.

What he left out is that most have discovered if you have drivers change at 10% of strength level, it doesn't give the other drivers time to recuperate. Thus once through the rotation of drivers, they tire frequently and therefore pit more frequently than necessary.

I used to use the 10% strategy, but now leave it at default. My drivers do just fine at 0% mental and physical and come in for a pee stop when the car needs tires or fuel.

Your milage may vary,
Kaffeine

I've not noticed a massive issue with my drivers running with 0% mental/physical unless they get very "hot" when moving through traffic.

When they are running "cool" they overtake without issue, but once they heat up they get a bit more lairy and start dipping wheels onto the grass and spinning out etc (although this does depend upon the car).

I'm with KaffeineKeiser - I just leave mine at the default and let them pit when they need tyres or fuel! Bit of payback for all the terrible driving I've had to endure with them!! :)

Does the AI for A spec endurance use the 0% strategy? They pit every lap (or every other) due to this on b spec toweards the end, thus (potentially) ruining a close race. Still I was 150 laps clear at the time so I don't suppose it made much difference really

And I don't really get the mental / physical strength bit - driver seems to perform as well on 0% as on 100%. Put a bob up for le mans 24hr on his own and he beat his own lap time by .3 of a second some 22 hours into it - dirty oil and all. Poor bloke must have been knackered, car had lost 50+ (more??) hp, and he still pulls off a fastest lap

ok so if its on 0% they will still automatically pit?
