Sorry if it's been asked before I couldn't find it.

Tickets are used to get you a car that's within its parameters. They are 4 types: Birthday (receive one on your b-day), Level (based on car level), Class (based on car class, like Rally), and 1000 (every car in the game except X1s and DLCs*). They're valuable because they're the only ones that can bypass the trading limit, and can net you a quite valuable car from a certain type of ticket like the Chaparral 2D. To obtain each type of ticket:

B-Day: Just set your birthday and log-in during your birthday. Simple.
Level: Gold any hall in either A- or B-Spec, or gold one of the Seasonals.
Class: Gold certain events in Special Events.
1000: Cover 2000km or win an event 100 times.

They can also be obtained from trades.

* May also include F1s but I'm not sure.

Level (based on XP level)

Good explanation, but its worth pointing out that you don't get the tickets for leveling up, but for getting trophies in all races in a hall or completing the Expert Seasonals. Or trading, of course. 👍

Oh, wait. I meant cars, not A- or B-spec XP level. My mistake :p

Understandable, that was quite a thorough explanation you typed out.

As do I, my friend. Hope I could help, OP!

Thanks there! Really helped me :) So for 1000ticket you must cover 2000km with one car or?

And one more question I don't wanna open another thread...I saw tuning is different in some videos...example this:

From 0:04 i don't have hood and all that stuff to tune...tuning shop is different to me...is that patched or? Because I started to play 2weeks ago.

2000 kilometers and win 100 races with one car, yes.

Ok,thnx! Must go sleep now 3:24AM for me :) I hope someone answers to question about tuning...maybe I just missed that part..?

I don't know why you would be missing any tune shop items.

One more question about tickets...people wanna lvl 23. tickets or something similar...why? Is it maybe because they can't get gold on that level events or?

Not necessarily, you need a ticket for each car you want. The Level 23 gives some of the best cars making it a more desirable ticket. Take a look for yourself: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=199650

If you want more than one of those cars, you will need multiple tickets.

So it's about luck I guess :)

I just finished Seasonal Ferrari Challenge all gold and didn't get any ticket...meh. 👎

Getting the car you want is luck, earning the tickets is not luck.

Hm how come I didn't get any ticket completing Ferrari Seasonal?

You only get tickets from the 'Expert Challenge Races' or whatever they were called in the Seasonals. Those are the only ones that give them.

Ordinary kind of races don't give the tickets for prize cars associated with the norm of the cards' level or description I guess...

Maybe it cannot be fitted to the car you are using. Is there a orange circle with a exclamation mark next to the item? It means it cannot be fitted.

Cheers!

It's possible with a DS3. I'm still struggling in 2nd place with my DS3, but over in the Seasonals Forum, there is a great thread with a bunch of tunes that you can try. EDIT: I just saw that you found that thread of tunes for those Expert Seasonals. 👍

Some people mix and match from the various tunes to find the one that works for them, but the main thing on the Lotus Challenge is to drive as clean as possible, while minimizing any wheel spin or bumping of any AI cars. 👍

I'm currently trying BlackoutBilly's tune.

Yeah thanks,if it's not hard to you to tell me with what tune u used when u reach 1st,when you reach it?

It's hard to get into curve simply because I can't manouver with car like that,Lotus is ******...I tried with like suspension settings, setting high on rear and low on front and still steering is awful.
