It takes slightly more XP to get from 46 to 50 as it does to get from 1 to 46 - and you need as much to get from 1-40 as from 49-50.

I don't have a solid figure for 50 yet, but it takes 1,123,769XP to hit level 46 and about another 1,225,000XP (a little less, I think) to reach level 50.

I feel like PD will end support of this game and many of us will not be at level 50.

Well since PS5 is rumoured to be in the works and Kaz saying the material they have is ready for the future (like the 8k showcase), as soon as the hardware shapes up, PD will be working on the next title.

With these XP requirements and the content at hand, most of us probably won't have enough time to get to 50.
 
I hit level 50 in April with a lot of grinding on Blue Moon. It was a little of an anti-climax since I will never become a platinum driver since I don’t have the skills to get 65 pole positions or 91 victories. Anybody can of course get 322 races, a number I haven’t reached yet.
 
I made it to level 40 today, and I don't actually feel I've been playing it much since buying the game in December 2017. It turns out only 1.8% of players have made it there yet. :boggled:

To get from 41 to 42 you need 88,477XP, which is 366XP more than getting from 1-31.

That's crazy to me. Like I can understand a bump in needed xp to gain levels higher up, but this is a little extreme imho.

It's been more than a year since GT Sport launched. At the rate I was leveling up, I'd believed that I would have reached level 50 by the end of this summer but as of today, I am a level 47 player. Well I haven't been playing as often and as long as I used to but I am still a regular. I'm aware that league races pay more xp than online races do and some players do not care about their xp level (and I do agree that DR-SR ratings matter far more) but please share your opinions about this long journey and if you have reached level 50 please tell us when you did so.

Been level 46 for the last 6 months
 
I've just hit Level 47 - I think I need 275,000 points to get to L48. Then I presume it will be around 300,000 to get to 49 and maybe 500,000 to get to 50. If I'm right, I still need about a million more points.

I won't hold my breath!

I'm on 46 and a quarter, been like that for 2 months now, Level 50 feels years away and judging by previous threads and this one it seems pointless and unnecessarily hard to get something with little and pointless reward (imo). At the same time I want to get to L50 because I've been having a disastrous time on sport mode and need to stay calm
 
Hit Level 50 about 6 months ago. Needed it for the Platinum so had to grind events like Blue Moon for a good few weeks.
 
For you who doesn't know how maxy XP that is needed to come from one level to the next level.

I made the below table early this year when I will still on my way to level 50. I hope some of you may find it useful.

You need to have a look at your column C, which goes a bit wonky at level 14.

Edit: You have 1117 for level 14, rather than 1177, that's why :D

Also, our column B values differ for levels 33, 34, 38, 42, 43 and 45.

I got to level 41 yesterday! Doing races in GT League seems to give you a tonne of XP compared to daily races. After sitting at level 39 for god knows how long, I've jumped two levels in the last two weeks or so.

I think I'm halfway through 41 with over 240 hours driven. I don't want to count how many more thousands of hours I'd need to spend to reach 50 without boosting.
 
Xp Level 50 | 100% (1827845 pts)

Checking my stats I have now legitimately passed lvl 50. I reached it on Jan 31 before after grinding 307 wins on Bluemoon bay for about 1.8 million xp that I still needed. (guestimating an average success rate of about 75% clean race bonus with the N300 KTM XBow) That 1.82 million up there is since reaching lvl 50 so I've now cleared my 'debt' through sport mode races.

Time driven 54 days, 18 hours, 23 min and 53 s.

Yeah, it took a few!
