The garage feature, it's boring & they want to charge for it with online micro transaction unbelievable, bring it back like it used to be, when the car turns around & all the information & options for it is all right there in front of you.And if possible, reasons why.
Every game has some ideas that just don't work out as well as others. Which ideas in GT6 didn't work the way you wanted them to and will be removed in future version?
The trouble is, Kaz doesn't remove features cos they don't work. He removes features that work & that players rely on. What stays & what's removed seems to be arbitrary.

Features as SRF forced on,and Traction Control forced on off track.
When I go to options and turn Traction Control off this means that I want it totally off regardless of the surface.
I would remove the Kart races or just make them a special event not just part of the progression through each of the levels. I've seen in other forums that many people feel the same way.
At this point, I don't think there's any sense in removing any vehicles from the game.
And then you get stuck.... It MIGHT work if you could DNF a race....
If I stuck and DNF there will be no problem because I have chosen to turn OFF Traction Control. 👍And then you get stuck.... It MIGHT work if you could DNF a race....
Sorry for the obvious response, but not even standard cars?
Omg absolutely not!!! You know how much variety you would lose!?!? If you don't like them, don't use them, but please, don't ruin my gaming experience just because some people are hung up on graphics.

Well, at least we know where you stand.
Which is why it would be very interesting for Mr. Yamauchi to answer questions such as the one in the topic. Are standard cars one of the things he would remove, and why/why not?
I agree. I thought that since it seems arbitrary to us, but it can't possibly be because no developer makes arbitrary decisions, it would be lovely to know what some of the reasoning behind it was.
Even if I disagree with someone's reasons, I find that often if I at least understand why they made a decision it's easier to accept.
It’s always difficult to answer a question about why we chose to do something. When we design Gran Turismo, a lot of it is just based on what we feel is the right decision at the time.
The reason I said it's arbitrary is because Kazunori himself said that what they choose to put in a GT game is down to 'what feels right to them at the time'. A very bad way to make video games imo. Much better to find out what actually works, what customers like, then build on it, honing it & perfecting it. See for yourself from his very general answer quoted below.

Kaz is more of an artist than a business man on this level. And it goes from there......

Edit:
To clarify, the reason I feel that way is because of how long it takes PD to create premiums. To me, the combination of converting standards to premium along with continuing to add more new cars is too big of a task for PD, and removing the standards would see the permanent end for many many cars in the game.
