the controls are good, I played blade2 so I'm used to it, but blade2 was slightly more responsive. after finishing a combo in rise to honor u cant move for a second and thats when u get wasted..
the only way to fix that is hit everyone u can within 1 combo, if u get it right, everyone around u will go flying and its very, very satisfying:mischievous:

PC:
Fallout 2 (for the 5th time), Icewind Dale, IL-2 Sturmovik, Doom 2, Aliens vs. Predator 2, Morrowind + Add-ons.

Future PC games:
Half-life 2 (got a free CD key with my 9600XT), Icewind Dale 2, Operation Flashpoint 2

Previously played on PC:
Call of Doody (soldit ), NFS:U (beat it), Leaked Doom 3 (I don't understand why this game isn't out yet. I found no bugs and the story was intense).
NES:
Mario Bros. 2, Super Dodgeball,

SNES:
FF3 (3rd time), FF5 (4th time), Rock & Roll Racing (50th time at least), Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, Looney Toons B-Ball.

PS 1/2:
Xenosaga, GTA Vice City, Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3, GT3 + Driving Force Pro.

Future PS2 games:
GT4 & FF XI Online + Hard Drive.

I know it seems like alot, but these are all games that I am working towards completing, or games that I play frequently.

I'm playing Need For Speed: Underground, Return to Castle Wolfenstien and Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3. About 75/111 in NFSU and 70 somethin' % in TXR3. I hate the circuits in NFSU that have 5 or 6 laps, makes my thumb hurt like ****! :banghead:

the best part of freedom fighters is the cutscene when u take over the tv station.
manhunt was disappointing.
just got battle gear 3 and it has to be the best drifting game i've played, if only it was fast like initial d...

I searched this thread for "combat" and found nothing. So I'll assume I'm save to say I'm original in being the only one here currently playing Ace Combat 04. It's COOL! I would describe it as a watered down GT3 with fighter jets. Fun stuff.

My biggest complaint about Manhunt - it's not fun. It's just depressing and violent. The reason the GTA series works so well is its sense of humour, something Manhunt didn't have.

Picked up a copy of R Racing on the weekend, which I paid for with my savings on my Driving Force Pro. It's actually okay, although the storyline is pretty awful (although the female racers are lovely), and I'd love to be able to turn off the radio chatter in the races. The physics model is actually pretty solid - it's no GT3, but it could certainly teach TOCA Race Driver plenty.

I actually dragged TOCA out the other night - I forgot how awful the physics were. I mean, awful...

Maybe that's been fixed in TOCA Race Driver 2?

BTW, is R Racing Revolution that great?? Seemed kinda expensive?

I'm in the midst of playing many games

FFX, FFX2, Kingdom hearts, GT3, TXR3, Metroid Prime, Mario Kart...

so many games to finish, so little time.....

We can only hope. I still play the old BTCC based TOCA 2, which as I've said countless times I still rate as one of the best pure racing games ever made. The handling wasn't a highlight, but the AI was nearly flawless - aggrressive without ramming for no reason as it does in TOCA Race Driver.

I was gutted when TOCA Race Driver turned out to be a dud. I'd been hyping that game something chronic in the months leading up to its release.

It wasn't that expensive - in fact, as I recall it was actually $10 (Australian) cheaper than the usual new price for a PS2 game.

As I said, it's actually okay. The physics would actually rate at the upper end of the scale for PS2 releases. I've been using the Driving Force Pro with it - my initial complaint that the steering is too light was fixed using the 100% force-feedback option on the DFP, so now that I'm comfortable with the weighting I can confirm the handling's quite good. With the more powerful cars, it is necessary to play the throttle out of corners rather than just plant it, as they will go sideways if provoked (the Calsonic Skyline is a specialist at this), and you can lock brakes going into corners.

Note for fellow Aussies - Phillip Island is one of the circuits, and it's actually a pretty solid version of it.

It's not fantastic looking, but more than acceptable, and certainly the frame rate moves along at a nice clip.

$10 less than usual price.

For once, i'm not playing anything. I dunno what to play, i'm waiting for Kaido Battle 2 though.

I'm currently playing Ace Combat 4, I have three more missions to go for a third complete game which will unlock the second X-02, and the OPM May issue demo disc.

The demo disc has nothing spectacular, but I've trying to play this one game called Cy Girls. It's a pain in the ass for me, moving the character with the left stick, and aiming your shots or your point of view with the right stick. It's the same with the Rainbow Six demo. I can't seem to get use to the controls, yet.

Hell....
For a diablo clone I think it is an awsome game:embarrassed: .....

I don't have a PS2 but when I go to my cousins house thats what we play all day~

And I also play BurnOut 2... Nice arcade racer... The crashes can be dramatic... I'll play this over NFS:U if I had a PS2....

ATV OffRoad Fury 2 is something I like to play but my cousin thinks it's boring for some reason... Maybe cause they only go around 50-60 mph?

I'm thinking of buying a ps2 for Norrath and GT3 :D Those games make me crave for more!!:embarrassed:
