What Gran Turismo 7 Needs

need: already mentioned before in this thread

Reality check (will have):
- Enhanced Low def/low polys/textures cockpit for all standards in GT6! (see! we hear you GT fans!)
- Smartphone buddy app to manage your Driving avatar in the return of SpecB mode!
- Possibility to put a name on your driving suit avatar! (yeah!!!)
- A Ford T Premium with racing modification options (and oh boy, can she fly!)
- A new mode: the spectator mode: you have to cheer your team up to make them go faster! A wave to get a bonus.
- Racing modification for the lunar vehicule, with a new moon circuit!
- Drive for the first time ever the Mars rover vehicule in REAL mode on Mars! (with super realistic 8 minutes lag between your input and the actual move on Mars!)

We can only dream, but this sounds great! (Dat Model T though...)

My personal opinion on GT7'S requirements:all of the op's thoughts +..
-custom aero kits(ability to adjust height/width)
-custom hoods(adjustable vent size/amount of vents/placement)
-adjustable rim/tire size(width height)
-race modifications(never grasped why this was removed)
-360° camera
-online rating system(see GTAV) to match skill levels and keep bad players away
-matchmaking
-improved photo mode(place cars on any track with time adjustments as well)
-60fps replays exportable to ps4 HDD or Usb stick
-physics that remain the same no matter what game mode your playing
 
  • Bring used cars back
  • Kept promises
  • Challenging GT Mode
  • More Special events like GT4 had
  • Every Car Premium
  • Get rid of Duplicated cars
  • New Engine
  • Better sounds
  • Racing Modifications back
  • Better DLC E.g Tracks, actual car packs
  • A Finished game
 
All GT7 and future GT's really need are

Full Online, Full Career Mode, Challenging A.I that's all.

Until they can get these 3 correct and I'm not even all for the online part, but until these three are correct won't matter in the long run for anything else.

These threads always pop up, but all this extra stuff doesn't matter if they base of the game isn't complete.

Having Racing Modifications won't matter if I can beat a rabbit in a PT Cruiser you know what I mean.

Having extra tracks won't matter if over 80% of the current tracks are dull and lifeless.
 
What GT7 needs is Project CARS. Well, any form of direct competition on the same platform will do - it will be the proverbial rocket up the behind for PDI. Competition breeds innovation and all that.

Problem is what is Project Cars sucks? Then what basically it's back to being more of the same with PD. That's one reason I want more than just Pcars to choose from I know a lot of you have been tooting the horn on how great Pcars is, but until it gets here and has been reviewed/played or whatever we won't know.

Still though telling you guys If those three things I've listed aren't done correctly PD will have a huge problem on their hands.

Haven't enjoyed a long good career mode since GT4.

Of course, we can't know whether PCARS is any good, but a little competition of any sort can't hurt, and there will be other racing games on the horizon for PS4.

Crucially, I feel as though that if GT7 isn't any good, I can't see PDI making a GT8. GT5 was popular by virtue of the fact it was hyped beyond belief over a long period. Lots of people were disappointed, and hoped that GT6 would fix some of the fundamental issues, and arguably, in some cases, failed.

I don't feel as though people will be happy being fooled a third time, and if the same key issues remain, I fear that GT will come to a swift end.
 
The main issue with PD is communication and the efficiency of their workforce, GT6 is the first GT game since GT1 to not have been delayed at all (Not sure about GT3)

Although most of the OP seems like logical steps for PD. It would be great if they atleast did something in the style of Nintendo Direct or a constantly updated blog of sorts, keeping us up to date with the latest things Kaz and co have been working on, and some sort of way of sending feedback to them.

This, exactly. I am very hesitate to buy another PD game. Which is really sad, because I have been a supporter for 15 years. To me, it's akin to buying the new Madden game when they advertise all 32 teams and leave out half of them. We promise the New England Patriots will be available if they go to the Superbowl.

Ya right... this will happen because we all know the default controller that comes with the PS4 will be a steering wheel! Should be really good for the first person shooter games now eh! :rolleyes:

For me the most important thing GT7 needs to get right is the AI. It needs properly challenging AI and a difficulty setting to accommodate newcomers through to alien drivers. We just need an engaging racing experience PLEASE!
