No, this is not a disscussion thread, it is simply a thread based on, you guessed it! GT7's requirements.
(Note: These items would only be possible with the PS4's power.)

So, if there is another thread like this one, do not mind it.

Physics:
-Tire Deformation
-High Speed Aero Drag (280mph<)
(No more 315 mph road cars)
-Full Clutch Simulation
(Double Clutch, Slip, Stall)
-Torque Steer Simulation

Cosmetic Damage:
-Shattering Glass
-Detaching Mirrors
-Detaching Spoilers
-Stress Bending Rims

Mechanical:
For Pro Mode (If there will be one)
-ABS Failure
-Gearbox Failure
-Misfiring Cylinders
-Brake Fade

Customization
-Tire Width (5.5in~24in)
-Tire Radius (8in~52in)
-Custom Color Interiors
-Ground Effects (Sounds dumb...)
-Engine Swaps
(Allowed based on engine size)
-Turbo Boost Adjustment
-Tire PSI Adjustment
-Exhaust Diameter Adjustment
-Custom Body Parts

Race Menu
-Endurance Races
-Rally Races/Section
-Pro Mode (Advanced AI)

Sounds
-Pre-recorded car sounds
-Lowered volume of tyre squeal
-Individual Volume Settings for:
•Tyre Squeal
•Engine Noise
Graphic EQ in Settings
-Customize by Hertz level
•Low End: 10~30
•Mid: 64~256
•High End: 2K~16K
•Treble (1-10)
•Bass (1-10)
•Mid (1-5)
(Like an Amplifier, complicated)

Settings
-Pre-install game data
-Reset game save (...?)

And make the physics for steering wheel not for controller!

Looks like a wish list.
Physics:
-Tire Deformation
-Diagonal Weight Shifts
-High Speed Aero Drag (280mph<)
(No more 315 mph road cars)
-Full Clutch Simulation
(Double Clutch, Slip, Stall)
-Torque Simulation
Diagonal Weight Shifts - I'm 99% sure we have that already.
Full Clutch Simulation - They could do that in GT6 on the PS3, but they don't.
Torque Simulation - You mean torque steer or something right?

Mechanical:
For Pro Mode (If there will be one)
-Snapping Tie Rods
-Gearbox Failure
-Misfiring Cylinders
-Brake Fade
Snapping Tie Rods - Why stop here? Ball joints, wheel hub, etc. I don't see this coming in GT7 at all though.
Brake fade - For some reason very few sims have this ( at all or right ).

Customization
-Tire Width (5.5in~14in)
-Tire Radius (15in~32in)
-Custom Color Interiors
-Ground Effects (Sounds dumb...)
-Engine Swaps
(Allowed based on engine size)
Tire Radius (15in~32in) - Again why stop at 32? We have a Tundra and a Ram in the game, might as well give us 35s. Also we may have cars with tires under 15 ins in this game.

This

Plus this

And I'll be a very happy boy Indeed.

But it all needs to work properly.

*cough*7 post rig*cough*

On one hand I'd like to see all the stuff that is on the list in the OP, on the other hand, I want PD to just get right what's already in the game before moving on to breaking glass and nuts falling off of cars because someone forgot the virtual Loctite. The more things they add to the game the more things will be screwed up, that's the history of PD lately. Get right whats in the game already, camber, pit stops, ride height, top speeds, online stability, sound issues, shadows, tire models etc. and then work on more bells and whistles one at a time until they are working perfectly, then include them in the game or in an update. If they promise the moon for GT7 they will never deliver, I'd be happy with just a little house down the street that can withstand a hurricane while an 8.5 earthquake is going on.

One huge thing missing aside from a different developer, Livery Creator, Its 2014 already.

Let's upgrade cosmetic damage to "partnership with beam ng drive" :)

So is thread just for us to see what you want, you stated this is not for discussion. I would like more instructions in the OP please. Am I allowed to post my ideas?

I would have thought yes because this is a forum lol :D

Wow, I haven't been on here in ages but it seems now almost every single post is negative, though I'm feeling exactly the same about GT and PD. I never did buy GT6 either.

Honestly, I'm not sure if GT can climb out of this pit it has fallen down, the series is pretty much a laughing stock at this point. GT7 needs to be a massively improved game from the last few entries, though I don't see PD being physically capable of doing it.

Well, throwing in my ideas might be "dissing" his thread.

My opinion on visual damage is, keep it minimal, unless you need it for a crash test or a demo derby mode. In GT5 and GT6, I have always raced without visual damage and probably never will use visual damage. The only cool feature of visual damage(that I confirmed in GT5[have not yet done so in GT6]) is that it actually affects your car.

I think an option to turn "extreme damage" on and off? That would be good.

According to latest rumors, GT6 will be ported to PS4 as GT7 Prologue, so I wouldn't get my hopes up for GT7. It's just a rumor, but still, when you recall the latest decisions from PD you cannot doubt anything at all.

Photomode Revamp. I won't even touch GT7 unless they fix it.

  • Manual White Balancing
  • Lower Shutter Speeds during Race Photomode
  • Up to 3x Resolution
  • More Locations with more interactive Scenery. I'd take GT5's locations over GT6's and the 2 car feature. GT6's are horribly empty and bland.
  • Actual Better High Dynamic Range
  • Realistic Wide angle distortion
  • Interior options both for Race & Phototravel
  • Various fixes from GT6's quality
  • Realistic lens flares and light diffusion

I want more opponents than 10-16 cars in Endurance Races like 24, 36, or 43 cars. More opponent cars, more excitement races.

GT7 needs to be a Gran Turismo Back to Basics for me. So many simple features are missing and I really can't tell how PD don't spot them, while every one of the 250,000 GTP members can clearly see what they're lacking. Things that are very simple, but effective, are missing in the game, and all Kaz has to do is look at the suggestions box to find them. Get the fundamentals of the game right, and then maybe we can look into more next-generation stuff from GT8.

Oh, and P.S.: Bring back grid starts!

-Custom Steering wheel
-Custom Bucket seats
As Helmet and Suits in gt6.

-360° view
-A lot more different view
As for example the rear view which is currently based on car and I would like it also based on the map.

-More Body kits
-Roll cages
-More Classic JDM wheels
-Rocket Bunny …..
-Able to removed bumpers
