Well recently my computer just wouldn't start correctly anymore. I finally solved the problem but still I want to find out what the REAL problem was. I ended up reformatting the computer twice. So heres the problem.
Left for work as usual, came back. Turned on the computer as usual only to find a black screen, saying this. "Windows could not start because the fallowing file is missing or corrupted:
\windows\system32\config\system"
Then is said like insert the Windows CD to like recover the missing file. So I did. And then it said press a button to reboot.
After is rebooted it just went to the same screen. Over and over and over again. Then now right before I would get to the screen I saw the blue screen of death pop up, right before it would re boot it self again. As you can imagine I was pissed off, now seeing that I would lose all my work and such. And it happed to be the day where I was going to back up everything.
IU solved my problem by going in to the bios screen (Hold Del at startup) and going to the boot screen, move my CD drive to number 1. Then insert the windows cd. And reboot from the disc. It worked.
But about 1 hour later, when I was restarting it after a windows up date I had the same problem. So I re formatted again for the second time, and so far Ive had no problems.
Can anyone figure out the cause of the problem? Last person I know that was on my comp was my bro and my sisters kid. But all they had to say was "I DIDN'T DO ANY THING" So there no help.
The only logical reson i've come up with, is that my computer was either attacked my a bug/virus OR hardware issues.
