What Happened to the Comment Sections???

What ever happened to the comments section of the News stories? It currently states that "Article comments are temporarily unavailable". I always enjoyed reading and commenting on those. It involves too many clicks to get to the story in the Forums sections.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but my search didn't pull up anything.

Looks like someone moved this post to another forum but couldn't answer the question...might be top secret and we do not have the clearance to know the reason.
 
So, the answer is that they are unavailable because they are unavailable? I knew it...it's a secret.

GTP12 still has a number of features that have yet to be rolled out. Don't worry, the comments section will return, and a triumphant return it will be!

Nothing about @Mike Rotch's answer was rude or sarcastic. He simply stated that you answered your own question and the "temporarily unavailable" means that it will return again in the future. @Snaeper simply spelled it out more but that in no way makes it sarcastic.

Really??? You see absolutely no sarcasm in his answer? That's like when someone asks "why is the sky blue", you would answer with "because it is blue".
 
This is not the wisest thing to debate, Optic. If there was any sarcasm, rest assured that it wasn't meant to belittle you in any form.

Ultimately, Mike has no reason to dislike you so there's no real reason to get so concerned about it.

Which is not what he did. You asked what happened to the comments and then answered what Mike would have had you not - they're temporarily unavailable. I've very much not seeing the issue here besides you making something out of nothing.

You've submitted a report and since I can't infract Mike, nor do I agree with your issue anyway, I'll leave it for Famine or Jordan to act on.
 
You asked what happened, then answered it yourself in the very next post (by the way, you may wish to become familiar with the site's rules with regard to double posting). At no point did you ever ask what the reason for this was, yet you seem upset because nobody gave you the "why". That should be patently obvious anyway, to wit: new software which doesn't support all the old features but which is being worked on to accommodate that as much as possible.

You don't think an expansion on the "what" into a "why" is implied in many questions ask? If you think I'm upset it's because I got sarcasm instead of intelligence (I know, I know...it's social networking...I should know better), but why are you upset? And where else did I post this for you to bring up double posting?

1) No, I don't. That's why the language (indeed, most languages) have the two separate words.
2) I'm not upset and for the life of me can't fathom why you seem to think I might be.
