No....just no.
Alright, so last night I put my Bobs to work on the 9 hr Tsukuba when I went to bed.


So I just get up, the PS3 is turned off! I can confirm it was racing, I watched a little bit 1:30 through.


Please don't tell me my PS3 died... :nervous::nervous::nervous:
 
Does it turn back on? If not, it's dead. If it does, well then it's either shut itself off or someone else has. Choose one, they're all valid and quite obvious.
 
I don't think I did, I'll have to check when I get a chance to get on but I don't recall turning that on.


If I did I'm such a noob :ouch:

And I don't even use HDMI, so that's out of question.


Can't really turn it on now, I'll wake everyone up.

And power black out, that happened to me after 9hr when on prize screen so after race but before save... epic blackout was epic :(
 
But my sister's up there and she'd hear me go up, and trust me she won't be happy if I woke her up

I didn't choose the best night to do it, it was raining and windy. But the power never went out, all the clocks are fine.



I'm just hoping I had the auto shut off on, at 10 hours. So then the race isn't a loss...

Then you could either risk it and wake her up or wait patiently on your couch until she wakes up. If the PS3 boots up with a prompt saying "Your PS3 system has unexpectedly shut down," or something like that then it could be a blackout or something similar.

There ya' go. You can start over, it isn't like it's WWII or anything :p The only thing to worry about is the electric bill :scared:
 
Not as bad as what I did, I have a lamp that I turn off when I go to bed then switch it off at the wall, but this is plugged into the same multi-board as my PS3 and since I was rather tired I had forgotten about this, I was 4 -4 1/2 hours into the b spec Suzuka 1000km when I turned it off at the wall and didn't realize what I had done until I heard my PS3 turn off. I was walking around the house swearing my head off in frustration
