yeah what happens cause i was readong the banned user log and someone was banned for an ITBL post

Normally, IBTL posts only say "in before the lock" and nothing much else (if anything), so it's pretty obvious if you do post an IBTL.

As for not knowing if you post an IBTL, I expect that would hardly (if ever) happen. :)

Firstly, it's IBTL (In Before the Lock), not ITBL.

These are useless posts which in now way contribute to the forum.

Your thread title asks what happens if you don't know you've posted one?

Well, first off - don't post one, ever. A two day ban will heading your way if you do.

To find if you've posted one in the past, use the search feature and search for your posts by you, with IBTL as the criteria. This should return any if you've posted them in the past.

To read more about the reasoning behind banning IBTL posts and the consequences, see this thread. It explains it all.

I hope this answers your questions, you don't seem to be that clear on what you want. :indiff:

The following are examples of an IBTL post:

"IBTL!!!"

or...

"In before the lock!"

or...

"1n b4 t3h l0ck!!!111

or...

"This thread has been made a million times, it's gonna get locked, etc."

Please don't ban me for these examples. :scared:

Pretty much, there have been several sticky posts in the GT4 forum and the Rumble Strip telling users to not post an IBTL post, since it's just spamming, it's annoying, and it's just rude, IMO.

Ok, now I get it.
Never post in it. 👍
i think that for this some people are like: "Stupid" or something
