I got a Zalman

It's runs very well, trust me. I have the same exact CPU and Heatsink. It's very, very quiet. And it's stable at 34 degrees celcisus.

And by the way, there is a 120mm and a 92mm both in a copper/aluminum combonation, all aluminum, and all copper. Don't cheap out and get the 120mm all copper. By far better heat dissipation on the copper one.

If you can't get the all copper version, get the copper/aluminum. The 120mm copper one will run about $50USD I think. Also, if you're computer isint all that big inside, go for the 92mm.

I am getting the 120mm version also I asked Kustom PC's what is the better one they said Zalman.

I'd go with the Zalman - Just finished my new HTPC and got the 7000 (size matters in the livingroom unfortunately) and with Cool'N'Quiet enabled, it fluctuates between 32 and 46 degrees celsius core temp - On the lowest setting at around 1400rpm...

[Edit :] It's only an XP64 3000+ though...

When I get all parts I will be reformating my C: HDD just for the OS and programs.

But before that is done I be using my add on PCI SATA Card for my D: HDD which has all my files on.

What I am asking is I should be able to get all my old files back on my D: HDD if I use NTFS on both HDD's like before.

Since I already have NTFS already on D: HDD/

I have the Zalman CNPS7700Al-Cu heatsink for my 3500+. It's a monster cooler.

Although, you might have to install your RAM before fitting the heatsink. Once the Zalman is installed on my mobo (MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum), you can't get in to add/remove RAM from the first slot.

Edit: I noticed you're getting the all copper model. Just be careful, as being all copper that thing is going to weigh a tonne. You'll have to be super careful when moving the case around with that giant fitted.
